Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,

Flash'd as they turn'd in air,
Sabring the gunners there,
Charging an army, while
All the world wonder'd:
Plunged in the battery-smoke
Right thro' the line they broke;
Cossack and Russian
Reel'd from the sabre stroke
Shatter'd and sunder'd.
Then they rode back, but not
Not the six hundred.

Cannon behind them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
While horse and hero fell,
They that had fought so well
Came thro' the jaws of Death
Back from the mouth of Hell,
All that was left of them,

六百馬背英雄。
“向前，輕騎旅”！
一位戰(zhàn)士呼喊，
“向炮火進(jìn)攻”！

有誰還能面帶惶恐？
這呼喊只是脫口而出，
其中的含義他還不懂：
盡管無人回應(yīng)，
盡管心里朦朧，
可是個(gè)個(gè)視死如歸，
無比奮勇：
一齊殺進(jìn)死亡谷，
六百馬背英雄。
左邊的炮火山搖，
右邊的炮火地動(dòng)，
前面的炮火更猛，
有如驚雷敵人萬炮齊轟；
冒著槍林彈雨，
恰似激流噴涌，
闖入死亡的血盆大口，
殺進(jìn)地獄的咽喉要沖，
六百馬背英雄。
所有的馬刀一齊出鞘，
寒光閃閃揮舞空中，
把對(duì)方的槍手炮手砍殺，
向敵人的陣地進(jìn)攻，
全世界瞠目驚悚：
穿過炮火硝煙，
摧垮頑敵的`陣容；
哥薩克與俄國兵，
被馬刀殺得一片惶恐，
逃跑四散，無影無蹤。
他們跨馬返回，
可是，不再是那六百英雄。
左邊的炮火山搖，
右邊的炮火地動(dòng)，
后面的炮火更猛，
有如驚雷敵人萬炮齊轟；
冒著槍林彈雨，
英雄與戰(zhàn)馬倒在血泊之中，
他們的搏殺精彩無窮，
闖入死亡的血盆大口，
殺進(jìn)地獄的咽喉要沖，
可是，現(xiàn)在剩下的，
不再是那六百英雄。
永不褪色是他們的光榮，
啊，他們發(fā)起過狂暴的進(jìn)攻！
全世界瞠目驚悚。
致敬，為他們發(fā)起的進(jìn)攻，
致敬，輕騎旅，
偉大的六百英雄。
