原文：
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go,yet turing stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of own future that you planned:
Only remember me;you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
譯文：
記住我，當(dāng)我離開
遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)地離開，進(jìn)入安靜的土地；
那時你再不會把我的手緊握，
我不會轉(zhuǎn)身走去，而又半途轉(zhuǎn)身停留，
記住我，當(dāng)時日不再回來，
你告訴我你計劃過我們的未來：
只要記住我；你理解
忠告或祈禱為時已晚；
如果你忘記我一會兒，
后來又記起，請不要悲傷；
注解：
C.G.Rossetti (C?G?羅塞蒂) (1830---1894) 英國著名詩人，但丁?羅塞蒂的妹妹，與其兄有同樣詩才。她的詩感情真切，不時帶有種神秘悲苦色彩，她的理想是精神世界的純粹與自我克制。
