二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)：
1、讓學(xué)生通過(guò)收集資料和本課活動(dòng)，了解萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的有關(guān)情況。
2、通過(guò)介紹風(fēng)俗，學(xué)習(xí)單詞pumpkin lantern，candle，mask，pig，if，能聽(tīng)懂、會(huì)讀、會(huì)說(shuō)這些單詞。
三、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：
讓學(xué)生通過(guò)這節(jié)課的活動(dòng)了解有關(guān)萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的傳說(shuō)、風(fēng)俗，為下節(jié)課的教授對(duì)話作鋪墊。
四、教學(xué)難點(diǎn)：
能聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀單詞pumpkin lantern，candle，mask，pig，if。
五、課前準(zhǔn)備：
1、教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備：讓學(xué)生課前收集萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的資料，每人做一個(gè)面具。
2、教具準(zhǔn)備：錄音機(jī)、磁帶、準(zhǔn)備幾個(gè)面具（xx、老虎、狗）
3、板書(shū)準(zhǔn)備：在黑板上預(yù)先寫(xiě)好課題Halloween

Step 1 Free talk
1. T:Let’s sing a song. We can sing and dance ”together.
Ss:Sing the song
2. T:(Greeting)Class begins. Good morning, boys and girls.
3. T:Do you know what day is April 1st?(Fool’s Day)
What day is June 1st?(Children’s Day)
What about October 31st?(Halloween)

Step 2 Presentation
1.T:Halloween falls on the night of Oct. 31st and it gives us a perfect opportunity to have great fun!
Do you know the origin of Halloween?

關(guān)于萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的由來(lái)，傳說(shuō)最多的版本認(rèn)為，那是源自于基督誕生前的古西歐國(guó)家，主要包括愛(ài)爾蘭、蘇格蘭和威爾士。這幾處的古西歐人叫德魯依特人。德魯依特的新年在十一月一日，新年前夜，德魯依特人讓年輕人集合，戴著各種怪異面具，拎著刻好的蘿卜燈（南瓜燈系后期習(xí)俗，古西歐最早沒(méi)有南瓜），他們游走于村落間。這在當(dāng)時(shí)實(shí)則為一種秋收的'慶典，也有說(shuō)是“鬼節(jié)”，傳說(shuō)是當(dāng)年死去的人，靈魂會(huì)在萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的前夜造訪人世，據(jù)說(shuō)人們應(yīng)該讓造訪的靈魂看到圓滿(mǎn)的收成并對(duì)鬼魂呈現(xiàn)出豐盛的款待。所以篝火及燈火，一來(lái)為了嚇走靈魂，同時(shí)也為鬼魂照亮路線，引導(dǎo)其回歸。

S:It’s a pumpkin lantern.
T:(show a picture)Look, it’s a pumpkin.

What’s in the pumpkin? There’s a candle.

We can use them to make a pumpkin lantern.

T:(Introduce)
至于南瓜燈也至少有兩種說(shuō)法。一種說(shuō)是人挖空了南瓜又刻上鬼臉，點(diǎn)上燭火以驅(qū)散鬼魂的；另一種說(shuō)是鬼魂點(diǎn)上燭火，試圖騙取人們上當(dāng)而跟著鬼魂走，所以人們就在南瓜表面上刻上一個(gè)嘲諷的臉面，用以嘲笑鬼魂：哼！傻瓜才會(huì)上你的當(dāng)!傳說(shuō)因?yàn)槭紫扔媚瞎系氖且晃粣?ài)爾蘭人Jack，所以人們又將鬼臉南瓜燈叫做Jack-O-Lantern.
Ss:(Repeat “Jack-O-Lantern” several times)
T:(Ask one student)Can you tell me what’s this in English?
S:It’s a mask.
T:Look, here are some masks.(teach “mask”)

Step 3 Say a rhyme
T: Please listen to a rhyme.

Step 4 Play a game.
T:See, I put the apple in the water, you only can use your mouth to get the apple. If you can, it’s yours. I give you only one minute.
Step 5 Introduce other informations about Halloween.
(1) If you were born on Halloween you’ll enjoy lifelong protection against evil spirits.
(2) Your future husband will appear in the mirror on Halloween. The children in America also have the colouring picture. You can have a look.(分發(fā)圖片)
Step 6 Homework
After class, please design a tabloid about the Halloween。（請(qǐng)大家課后四人一組制作一份關(guān)于萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的專(zhuān)題小報(bào)）英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)，中文注釋。
