當(dāng)幸福來(lái)敲門英文讀后感 1
This is about movie review.Yes,this is The Pursuit Of Happyiness.
Because our teacher demand us finish the movie review.—— Foreword.
In fact ,I have seen this movie before class.I frist met it when I was a senior middle school student. But I have get more impressions then before.
In the movie, the leading role of The Pursuit Of Happyiness,Jeffersons Declaration of independence words about happyiness kept recurring to Chris Gardner.Chris hardly work from everyday morning to night, but still couldnt make a charge. At last, his wife cant endured and left away, just leaving him and their five-year-old son. That is to say,Chris become a single father.
Even worse is,Chris no money to pay for the rent. And he was failed with his career. They become homeless. They slept in anywhere. But Chris never gave up,just for his son and his belief. He still strongly believed that happyiness would come one day if he worked hard enough.
At last of the film,Chris was succeed. But everyone know that too diffcult and hardly.
I think everyone know this is a inspired story. And Im moved. But in this movie, the most impress me are two things about Chriss love to his son and his strong faith towards life. After that,I learn one thing that if a person has a strong faith in himself, nothing will impossible.

The movie《The Pursuit of Happiness》is a story about that a father never give up and succeed in the end.
In the movie the father told his son that if you have a dream you should protect it and never give it up.It impressed me a lot.No matter how hard the life was,the father never leave his son,his family or his brief behind.Even they had to spend the night by living in the park or a public toilet. The movie taught me a lot about the sprit of never give up and insist. After watching it ,I learned that catch every chance what I meet and be active to the life. And I also learn that one has to strongly believe in himself,no matter how difficult the situation is,but of course,hard-working is indispensable.“Think, tough life experiences, always make a great person!”
當(dāng)幸福來(lái)敲門英文讀后感 3
If youve ever been poor, this movie may be hard to watch. It depicts poverty in America in gut wrenchingly accurate ways. Ive been as poor as Chris Gardner, and, like him, Ive been poor among very rich people in the Bay Area while trying to work my way up.
Chris Gardner is a loving father and failing businessman. He is chosen for a competitive internship at Dean Witter, a stock brokerage. The internship, which offers Chris a very long shot at a better life, doesnt pay any salary. Chris has to live without a salary for six months while risking just about everything for that long shot gamble.
Chris is really smart. He can solve a Rubriks cube in minutes. But, hes poor. Poverty, like an octopus, keeps trying to suck him down to the bottom, and make him stay there.
His car is towed. His wife walks out on him, leaving him with a five year old son. He is arrested for unpaid traffic tickets. He becomes homeless. He has to rely on a homeless shelter.
All this while, he must appear for work in the morning in a suit and tie, and be ready to charm some of the wealthiest and most powerful people in the Bay Area. These people take wealth so much for granted that two of them stiff him for cab fare.
Having lived through similar experiences, I cringed throughout this movie. My stomach hurt. I winced. I cried. I hugged my knees to my chest.
The movie is very accurate, but painful to watch. I hope a lot of rich people, who think that they understand poverty, see it.
This movie will be politically controversial. First of all, it doesnt touch the race issue with a ten foot pole. For example, when Chris appears to stiff a taxi driver for fare (it was really the rich white guy who failed to pay), the taxi driver never uses the “n” word. In real life, I think he probably would have.
Is the movie afraid to talk about race, or does it not want to? I dont know, but I know that some will protest the movies not shoving race in the movie goers face. Im not one of those people. The movies approach to race -- treating it as almost incidental -- worked for me. As a poor white person, I can tell you that poor white people face the same obstacles Chris did.
Second, does the movie sell the message that if you work hard, you will succeed, no matter what, and does that message tell the truth about success in America? I think that the movie is open to interpretation. Some will see it as an indictment of poverty in America. The scene of carefree rich people driving past the line to get into a homeless shelter is pretty devastating. Other people will become angry because they believe that the movies depiction of hard work leading to rewards, in some cases, is too facile. I disagree, but thats what youll hear.
Third, is this movie meant to chastise black men who abandon their children? Chris is a role model exactly because he moves heaven and earth to be a good father to his son. This will be debated back and forth.
The movie has a big philosophical statement to make, that has been lost on many reviewers, for example, Richard Schickel in TIME.
Chris is shown running throughout the movie. Remember the title of the movie: “The PURSUIT of Happiness.” Chris places emphasis on “pursuit.” Jefferson, when he penned the Declaration of Independence, did not promise Americans happiness, but only the right to pursue it. Chris says, at one point in the movie, paraphrase, “I am happy right now. It is a fleeting moment.” We experience happiness in eyeblinks. The rest of the time we, like Chris, are chasing after it.

"The Pursuit of Happyness" is a simple inspirational movie. It is not pretty actors,no fancy pictures,no touching music, but can also attract you read on law-abiding,because it has good enough story, plain but not mediocre!
Two of the film places the novel, though intentionally set,but that is not offensive, not far-fetched,pregnant with meaning.
First:When Chris (Will Smith plays) to see graffiti in the "happyness" spelling error,he said these words:There is no y in happiness,There is i.(y or Why). This line is extremely clever setting,it also aims to express through the entire film.Yes,there is no happiness in the why,the only others only their own happiness. Why blame others than their own happiness is meaningless, only rely on their own can be happy.
Second:when the movie started,Chris was in the crowd jammed the streets to push forward,in the smiling faces in only his bewildered, stood helpless with. And towards the end of the film,Chris was in the same place, look left to meet the emotional tears and applause for his rallying. In the calendar through suffering, sorrow, abandonment, abjection, helplessness, despair, after Chris with patience, hard work and attitude of never giving up in exchange for part of his life, the good old days.So in the moment through the probationary period,Chris is happy.
當(dāng)幸福來(lái)敲門英文讀后感 5
If you are in a foreign country and suddenly hear the smoke of war in your native land, and you have no one to acknowledge your identity, you dont speak the language, you have no money, and you are held at the airport. What should you do?
The great director Steven Spielberg sketched such a background, told such a story, portrayed such a character. Viktor Navorski, a Passenger from Kakonia, arrived at Detroit airport only to be told that there was a coup in Kakonia and that his passport and other forms of identification could no longer be approved for entry. The civil war continues and all flights back home have been grounded. Viktor Navorski became an "unacknowledged man." Unable to return home or set foot in the United States, he had nowhere to go but the terminal, and Airport director Dixon told him to wait. The distraught Victor stayed in the hall. He could not find anyone who could help him because he did not understand English. The few food stamps he had were swept into the trash. Penniless and homeless, he was a desperate man.
Victor begins to look for a place in the terminal. Unused gate 69 became his home, and he washed in the bathroom every day and studied English hard. Soon Victor was copying the others and making money to buy food for the airport carts. But Dixon, the head of the airport, sees him as a problem and antagonizes him everywhere. Dixon arranged for someone to sort out the wheelbarrow, and Victor lost his job. Fortunately, he made friends with the young man who drove the food truck at the airport and the old cleaning man, Gupta, and had food and shelter. Victor encounters a beautiful stewardess, Celia, at the airport and tries to find a job in order to have dinner with her. As it happens, the wall he decorates is discovered by a contractor, and Victor is officially hired -- victors life is actually on the right track. One day, the airport detained a looking mad Russian man, Dixon could not communicate with him; In desperation he thought of Victor. Victor held Dixon and the man steady. He used what he had learned at the airport to help the man out. Dixon was furious, but Victor became a hero at the Detroit airport. Every store has his handprint on it. He was greeted with a smile by every staff member. Cecilia met him once more. Pressed by Acelia, Victor tells the reason he insists on going to New York: to fulfill his fathers last wish, he is going to New York to ask for an autograph from a jazz musician. I wont stop until I get what I want. Ecilia was deeply moved by Victors sincerity.
On a sunny morning, the civil war in Kakonia was over, and Victor had been trapped in the airport for nine months. While everyone expected him to fulfill his vow, Dixon demanded his immediate return. And to repatriate Indian old man Gupta back to prison as a condition to threaten Victor. For friends Victor only choose to return home. As he waited for his flight, Mr Gupta chose to be arrested in exchange for his friends dream. Everyone cried. Dixon was no longer in the way. America was open to Victor. New York was open to Victor. He finally fulfilled his promise and could go home in peace.
When America opens up to Victor, ying echoes the line that runs through the film: "Compassion is the most important thing." 。 Airports are like condensed American society, with all kinds of people, languages, nationalities, cultures.。. Victors simple and honest smiling face and flexible brain, as well as his loyal character with friends moved enthusiastic American friends, especially after he saved the Russian man, but also won the recognition of friends of all races and nationalities. The cold law of rigor melts in the heart of compassion. Victor is actually gaining recognition in American culture. The two cultures blend and collide in a small airport, and the last flash is a sincere heart.
In just 120 minutes of clear storytelling, Spielberg uses a fictional story to illustrate his American values. What moves America, what is the most important character? The film tells us that it is perseverance and compassion.
當(dāng)幸福來(lái)敲門英文讀后感 6
The movie "The Terminal" tells the story of victor, the hero, who goes to New York to get his fathers autograph from Jazz star Gawler, but is stranded in the airport due to a coup d at in his country. While waiting at the airport for nine months, Victor learned to take care of himself and even got a job as a construction worker. Depend on a kind heart, Victor got to know a lot of good friends in the airport and won quite high popularity, below the support of the friend, Victor broke through the heavy create difficulties for frank of airport official, in motherland war is over, when his identity is appoints afew, set foot on the land of New York, completed fathers last wish.
There are plenty of moments where Victors clumsiness makes you laugh, but this is more of an educational aspired than a comedy. On TV to see the motherland ravaged by war, Victor sad, I see a love of the motherland pure heart; In the official Franks obstruction, Victor self-reliance in the airport, I see a strong vitality; Victors determination to fulfill his fathers will was undeterred by Franks power, and I saw a willingness to sacrifice everything to fulfill his promise.
Victors persistence in fulfilling his fathers wishes and his own promises is the thread that runs through the film, the highlight of the film, and what moves us. For an ordinary person, it is already a huge blow for the country to suffer disaster and the identity to be not recognized. Under the condition of being repatriated, he may abandon his original intention and look for opportunities to clean up the mess in the future. But the promise that Victor regards him from beginning to end as a new lamp, the brightness that it gives out is the power source that Victor perseverance does not fall, although external environment is hard, the person that does not know well in boundless huge crowd can help oneself busy, the promise in victor heart makes him rely on both hands to make a living, won a feeling. The promise in Victors heart is the fuel of his expectation, which sustains his inner persistence. The scene at the end of the film where Victor holds the autographed tin and gives a kiss deeply moved me. The kiss was born of the joy and pride that he had fulfilled his promise, of the memory of his dead father, of the love that he had promised himself.
In the present society, deception and lies seem to always QinShi peoples lives for a long time to recede, blundering mood seems to hold a stick to heart already, we are the temptation of immediate and convenient blurred eyes, forget the initial direction, abandoned their faith, their had promised with a commitment to roll, let it sink into the deep prospecting, submarine. Perhaps we Joan of Arc should have opened our hearts and learned something from Victors passionate and proud kiss.

The Pursuit of Happiness is really an excellent move , after watching it ,I cant calm my heart down for a long time. there are tears in my eyes ,but smile in my heart ,I think Chris is a good example for all of us ,just be optimistic and go torealize your dream.
To be honest , this movie is really a big shock to me , and the strong power in Chris has been influencing me all the time . At the beginning of the move, Chris has sent Christopher to the kindergarten , he saw a wrong word on the wall ,and said the famous sentence : There is no Y in happiness ,the only thing we can do is striving for our own happiness voluntarily .Just like Chris do. what does happiness mean ?Maybe we don not know, because we have not been experienced the troubles that the middle-aged man met . Before I watching this movie, i heard everyone watching with tears ! i can understand it .how can u imagine ? a man ,perhaps not young, is in poverty and his wife left him, He wants to cry ,but he can not, because of his son .in a way ,his son is what he works for! what most impressed me is what happened when in public toilet .he cried holding his son. A child described the toilet as a cave !yeah ,it is a cave !he really knew that it is only a cave that only can protect them for a while !So next time when he needed help ,he did not get again. The silly scene of taking a bus was a part of Chris Gardners life , in the move , Chris Gardner ,a poor father ,who had his wife left him ,because she could not handle her life without financial security .while Chris was selling medical equipment to doctors , she decided to get away from her poor family . Although under great pressure, Chris chose to stick it out, and fight for what he knew he can do ,for him ,and for his son. He is strong in spirit ,whatever barriers he meet ,he just continued his work and never stopped running .but it looks like that god likes to play tricks with him , he had gone through more hardships than others before the final success . we are unique and we are ourselves ,just hold a dream and do what you can do ,and do your best ,dont ever let somebody tell you that you cant do something .If you want something ,go and get it . It is said that the move is from a true story ,so we should believe the sentence that “Everything is possible”

If you ask me to recommend an inspirational film, I will tell you without thinking: "when happiness knocks on the door" is definitely worth seeing. When your goal is not clear and you have no direction in life, such a film can touch your heart and inspire you. Especially at the end of the film, the scene of the hero "applauding and cheering for himself" is deeply engraved in my heart
