One of the greatest advancements in modern technology has been the invention of computers. Computers are changing the way people live and work. They are already widely used in industry, business and in academic institutions.
With the popularization of science and technology, computers have found an increasingly wide application in all fields. A computer can do a lot of work. It is capable of doing extremely complicated work in all fields of learning. It can solve the most complex mathematics problems. Computers are able to store large amounts of information, which can be recalled rapidly at any time.
The truth of the matter, however, is that any new technology has a “dark”side. The problems caused by the use of computers are quite different. For example, assembly lines will be a slow process to retain workers to build and operate new equipment. Nevertheless, the dark side of the computer shouldn't mean that we should abandon the use of computers.
Technology only can make the real work cheaper, faster, and less tedious. It cannot solve problems.

The importance of puters continues to increase in schools. Some people think that teachers will not play an essential role in the classroom in future. But I have some mental reservations on the issue.
Teachers have long depended on textbooks and other printed materials to assist learning. Now puters have been adapted for classroom use. In a classroom where puters are used extensively, the teacher may no longer be the main source of information. But the teacher may act as a facilitator, guiding and assisting students to locate, interpret, and share information.
Since puterized instruction can provide teachers with detailed information about each students progress, teachers who use puters may have more time to give extra attention to students who need it.
What is more important is that teachers skills and attitudes influence everything that happens in their classrooms. During the years that young people spend in school, teachers are among the most important people in their lives. Teachers often help students as much by personal example as they do by offering instruction. Students who see their teachers demonstrate patience, trustworthiness, attention to work, and love of learning may be encouraged to develop similar qualities in themselves. The puter can in no way replace the role of the teacher in these respects.

Computer games peril people psychologically as well as physically. They don’t encourage people to communicate with others. In conclusion, computer games are not an angel or a demon by themselves. It’s up to game player to mold them.
