          一、教材分析

        Module 4 Unit1 We’re going to tell stories.教學設計

          本模塊的話題是發出慶祝生日活動的邀請。本單元的課文情境是Amy發給Lingling的生日邀請函,她要過11歲的生日了。Lingling問Amy打算如何慶祝,Amy說要和大家一起吃午餐,媽媽會給她做蛋糕。Sam說午餐后大家會一起講故事,Amy接著說隨后會去看電影。這時Ms Smart提醒孩子們在做這些事情之前要先幫她整理屋子,孩子們愉快的答應了。語言學習任務是運用已經學過的“I’m going to…”結構描述計劃并發出邀請。

          二、學情分析

          五年級學生的年齡在十一到十二歲左右,雖然處于高年級學段,但仍然活潑好動,喜歡直觀形象思維和抽象思維相結合,對游戲、競賽、畫畫還有興趣。大部分學生對英語有著較濃厚的學習興趣,但也有少數學生由于遇到困難,學習興趣會隨之減弱。尤其從這學期開始,對學生又提出了新的'要求:培養聽、說、讀、寫的技能。所以教師應該面向全體學生,以學生的發展為宗旨,始終把激發學生的學習興趣放在首位,引導學生端正學習態度,掌握良好的學習方法,培養學生良好的學習習慣。五年級學生還存在著學習方法和學習策略經驗不足等問題,但他們卻有著極強的求知欲強和表現欲。課上應該多以表揚為主,注重對學生英語學習興趣的培養,鼓勵他們大膽說、積極做、認真想。

          三、 教學目標

          1. 知識目標

          (1) 學生能夠掌握四會單詞和句型結構。

          New words: stories、 invitation、tidy up

          Sentence structures: What are we going to do?

          We’re going to tell stories.

          (2) 根據圖片和情境說出單詞和句子。

          (3) 在圖文或場景下進行課文的復述或者相似內容的閱讀。

          2、能力目標

          (1)在生活中正確運用英語慶祝生日。

          (2)學生能描述將要發生的事情并與別人談論、制作活動計劃表。

          3、情感目標:

          培養學生能夠按時整理自己的房間及物品的好習慣。

          培養學生在做每件事之前要學會制定計劃的良好習慣。

          四、 教學重點

          運用“What are we going to do? We’re going to …”描述將要的做的事情,學會制定計劃。

          五、 教學難點

          學生能描述將要發生的事情并與別人談論、問答,表達自己的想法。

          Step1 Warming up

          Step2 Lead-in

          T: This weekend, I’m going to read a story book. I’m going to tell stories.

          (Teach “story--- stories”)

          T: Today, Let’s learn the new lesson: Module 4 Unit 1 We’re going to tell stories.

          11 years ago, a beautiful girl was born in England. These are her family. Her parents: Ms. Smart and Mr. Smart. Her brothers: Sam and Tom. Who is she?

          T: Yes! She is Amy.

          T: Her birthday is coming. She’s going to be 11.

          設計意圖:通過游戲猜故事的名字激發學生興趣,引出課題,理解“tell stories”的同時,自然引出課文內容。

          Step3 Presentation

          T: I’ve got an invitation from Amy. She’s going to have a birthday party.

          Do you want to go with me?

          T: Who can read “invitation”, I’ll give it to you.

          學習操練“invitation”:

          全班,小組,分音節讀in-vi-ta-tion,個人,讀對獲得請帖。

          將詞放入句子中,詞——句子——長句:

          Invitation——It’s an invitation——It’s an invitation for birthday party.

          T: Wonderful! All of you can go with me! Let’s go!

          設計意圖:通過多種方式操練單詞“Invitation”,突破難點,由詞到句,在語境中操練理解詞匯。

          設計意圖:多種游戲形式操練詞組及句型,熟悉課文內容。

          Step4. Practise

          1. Group work.

          設計意圖:看圖造句,對一般將來時“be going to”結構進行鞏固操練。

          2. Grammar.

          be going to+動詞原形

          I用am, you用are,

          is 用于她他它,單數is,復數are。

          設計意圖:通過對課文知識點的進一步分析,歸納“be going to”的用法。

          3. Make a plan.

          Discussion:

          Make a plan:

          Picnic Plan

          We’re going to have a picnic.

          We’re going to buy some food.

          We’re going to fly kites.

          Write a plan:

          There are three themes: Picnic, Party, Sports Day.

          Four students a group, choose one theme and write your plan.

          設計意圖:以小組為單位制定一個計劃,先討論,再寫下來,提高學生口語表達能力的同時,訓練書面表達能力。

          Step5.Summary

          T: Make a plan before you do it! (做每件事之前要學會制定計劃)

          1. Talk about “What are we going to do this weekend?” with your friends.

          2. Try to make a plan for your weekend.
