Life is to be lived，saved，and enjoyed，not to be wasted or complained about. Hardly can we forget the time when our society faced the grave threat from the life-and-death disease-SARS. Yet，even during those dreadful times，some afflicted people remained optimistic. Instead of wearing neutral white masks，some people turned to colorful ones and thus display a happy mood. And some creative people dubbed SARS to mean“Smile And Remain Smiling .” I was deeply touched by their optimistic，nearly forgetting that we are still in a battle，people who survive these kinds of circumstances，decide in their minds to carry on in spite of the overwhelming odds.
Laid-off workers typically regarded as the victims of economic advancement，are subject to desperation that being unemployed has brought on them. But encouragingly，we have witnessed some of them striving hard to rebuild confidence toward life and discover new opportunities for demonstrating their values.
Although we cannot choose our appearance，inborn gifts and even avoid unexpected disasters and adversities，we do have the privilege to choose to live optimistically，to love our lives，to have dreams，and to cherish hopes.
Every morning when we get up，we have a choice of how we want to approach life that day. As for me，I choose to be cheerful.

有人說(shuō)：大學(xué)一年級(jí)往往“不知道自己不知道”，大學(xué)二年級(jí)就進(jìn)了一步“知道自己不知道”，大學(xué)三年級(jí)時(shí)“不知道自己知道”，大學(xué)四年級(jí)“知道自己知道”。大學(xué)生活總是那么的多姿多彩的，但也需要我們?nèi)グ盐蘸蜕钊塍w會(huì)。有人說(shuō)：平凡的大學(xué)生有著相同的平凡，而不平凡的大學(xué)卻有著各自的輝煌。但是你可以選擇平凡，不可以選擇平庸；相信誰(shuí)都想不平凡。那么，怎樣才能使自己的大學(xué)生活充實(shí)有意義，怎樣主宰自己的大學(xué)生活呢？我隨便談?wù)剛�(gè)人的幾點(diǎn)觀點(diǎn)。
首先，要確立目標(biāo)和計(jì)劃，古人云“志當(dāng)存高遠(yuǎn)”，毛爺爺也說(shuō)“風(fēng)物長(zhǎng)宜放眼量”。沒(méi)有目標(biāo)便沒(méi)有前進(jìn)的努力方向，也毫無(wú)動(dòng)力可言。計(jì)劃目標(biāo)，又可分為近期和遠(yuǎn)期。如近期我要看完多少本書，這一個(gè)月我要學(xué)懂什么知識(shí)，假期有什么實(shí)踐報(bào)告打算等等。遠(yuǎn)期的如：爭(zhēng)取畢業(yè)前拿到自考文憑，人際關(guān)系應(yīng)該多大，實(shí)踐能力應(yīng)達(dá)到怎樣的程度等。而且，目標(biāo)的實(shí)現(xiàn)又是一個(gè)個(gè)小目標(biāo)實(shí)現(xiàn)的連貫過(guò)程。如一天記5個(gè)單詞，到考前便可記到很多。但是,這需要堅(jiān)持和毅力。
第二，要放遠(yuǎn)眼光，是指不被暫時(shí)的'情緒和心情所拖所沉溺，要成就大事業(yè)，就必須大事抓緊，小事放松。如，不要被上網(wǎng)玩游戲等所帶來(lái)的滿足感所一直沉溺，孰不知，暫時(shí)滿足的背后的更大的空虛。相信大家都有這種體會(huì)。
第三，是樹(shù)立就業(yè)危機(jī)感，我們總是在怪自己的控能力不強(qiáng)，沒(méi)有上進(jìn)的動(dòng)力。誰(shuí)不知是自己的意識(shí)上沒(méi)有清醒？有人會(huì)說(shuō)：“愛(ài)情是學(xué)習(xí)的動(dòng)力”或“家境貧
窮的學(xué)習(xí)的動(dòng)力”等等。其實(shí)，從直接意義上來(lái)說(shuō)，就業(yè)危機(jī)感才是也應(yīng)該是我們上進(jìn)的動(dòng)力。我自己常想自己畢業(yè)以后究竟能干什么？又多從報(bào)紙雜志上看到目前就業(yè)形勢(shì)的異常嚴(yán)峻，所以心里很是害怕。有人說(shuō)目前找工作：要么有關(guān)系，要么有文憑，要么有才能（技能）。而我們呢？文憑，只是本科；關(guān)系，相信大部份同學(xué)都沒(méi)有什么關(guān)系。所以，我們唯一的出路便是要有才能。而這，就要問(wèn)問(wèn)自己：你學(xué)到了什么，你掌握了什么？現(xiàn)在的問(wèn)題不是我們不知道學(xué)什么，而是我們想不想學(xué)。
第四，是要理論知識(shí)與實(shí)踐能力相結(jié)合，大學(xué)是一個(gè)鍛煉自己能力的舞臺(tái)。以前是重知識(shí)而輕能力，但現(xiàn)在恰好相反，由于社會(huì)上影響，文憑要求的適當(dāng)下降，所以現(xiàn)在的很多大學(xué)生紛紛跑出外面找兼職。如果他們是在不影響學(xué)習(xí)的前提下去的，那沒(méi)話說(shuō)，反而應(yīng)該提倡。但他們有些不是，為了一份端菜的服務(wù)生工作，不惜請(qǐng)假曠課，晚自習(xí)也不上。我身邊就有這樣的現(xiàn)象�，F(xiàn)在，出現(xiàn)了這樣一種錯(cuò)位思潮，就是在職的機(jī)關(guān)企業(yè)工作人員，紛紛利用業(yè)余時(shí)間“充電”，而在校的大學(xué)生們卻紛紛跑到社會(huì)兼職，我覺(jué)的應(yīng)該糾正這種思潮。
此外，就是要多看書和報(bào)紙雜志，了解最新社會(huì)動(dòng)態(tài)，知曉國(guó)家大事，了解第一時(shí)間的時(shí)政經(jīng)濟(jì)新聞等。是的，這不僅對(duì)我們以后找工作有幫助，而且對(duì)我們的生活也有幫助。

significant embarrassment and frustration in my life. Like always failing my P.E examinations, like always being laughed at by girls, like being terrified to speak in public. It was my grandmother’s encouragement that revived from my passive attitude to become confident in myself. She said “ My dear, if you can’t change you figure, why not treat it as your own style. So I began to cautiously employ the new way of thinking. By choosing to change my outlook on life, I developed the confidence to make a difference and finally I found a totally new world.
So my dear friend, if faith, hope, love, endurance are added to your life, you will find the confidence to conquer your limitation and embrace new challenges. And hopefully with my speech included, you will have a fantastic speech contest.

Then you may tend to be a pessimistic， quiet， and shy person， you would rather follow than lead。 Is this true? Maybe。 At least， this is what psychologists have told us， and they should know， since they have been seriously studying the meaning of color preference， as well as the effect that colors have on human beings’ lives。 They tell us that we do choose our favourite colors as we grew up， and we were born with our love for special colors。 If you happen to love a special color， you were made to do this the moment you opened your eyes， or at least the moment you could recognize different colors。
There is no doubt that colors do have an impact on our moods。 A yellow room can make most people feel cheerful and relaxed while a dark green one makes you feel cold and afraid。 And a red dress brings warmth and pleasure to the saddest winter day。 Of course， the color black will probably make you feel depressed。 It is reported that a black bridge over the Thames River used to be the scene of more suicides than any other bridge in the area until one day it was repainted green， the number of suicide attempts immediately fell sharply; perhaps it would have fallen even more if the bridge had been done in pink or baby blue。

I will never forget the day when I stepped into the Hebei Normal University for the first time.I was impressed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.
After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can. Learning is a long process,I'll keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to eich myself. Now I've benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.
During the last year,I’ve been actively involved in student union and varies of association.But soon I realized that having a limited knowledge in college was not enough to promote my ability.This summer I got out of the ivory tower and get several part-time jobs.Such as handing out the leaflets on the street, being the sales girl,helping a junior student with chemistry lessons and so on. Besides,I also took part in activities concerning public welfare. I once went to a barren mountain village with
my classmates. We taught the kids there who could not afford school. I was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honesty and their purity. I couldn't control my tears on the day when we left. The precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us-----future teachers.

We taught the kids there who could not afford school, I was deeply touched by their eageness to learn, The precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us-----future teachers. The eichment of experience taught me the significance of modesty,responsibility,tolerance,and perseverance.And now I have been here two years. recalling to the two years, I think I have to talk about one thing-----learning. learn how to study independently, learn how to get along with others, learn to love, learn to… oh, there are too much things we have to learn.
Comparing with senior high school, college is a rather different
place. there aren’t so many people to watch you and guide you how to do something any more, neither are there so many students who share with you one dream. in college, you must think and study yourself, so you have to learn and practice to control yourself.
Another relationship in college is friendship. my roommates have lived two years with me. in these years, they forgive my faults, cry with me, laugh with me, play with me… they always stand with me and support me, I have learned a lot from them. I love them all and treasure the friendship with them.

when we start to study we meet many new faces which will live with us for four years we must make friends with them .just like the saying says friends play an important role in our life,if you have many fiends you will have less troublts in your life ,if you have no friends you will have troublts everwhere in your life,so do you want to have many friends? of course the answer is ‘yes’.this is the third thing i want to say :the friendship.
love is the last thing i want to say.as far as ii can see love is the last thing you do at uiversity.if you fall into the river you will never get out,this does greet harm to your body and your study.besides many people say that love will not give you the sense of sweetness during schoollife.so i do not support on-campus students start their love at university.
