有關(guān)春節(jié)英語小短文

　　春節(jié)一般指除夕和正月初一。但在民間，傳統(tǒng)意義上的春節(jié)是指從臘月初八的臘祭或臘月二十三或二十四的祭灶，一直到正月十五，其中以除夕和正月初一為高潮。在春節(jié)期間，我國的漢族和很多少數(shù)民族都要舉行各種活動以示慶祝。這些活動均以祭祀神佛、祭奠祖先、除舊布新、迎禧接福、祈求豐年為主要內(nèi)容。活動豐富多彩，帶有濃郁的民族特色。

　　當午夜交正子時，新年鐘聲敲響，整個中華大地上空，爆竹聲震響天宇。在這“歲之元、月之元、時之元”的“三元”時刻，有的地方還在庭院里壘“旺火”，以示旺氣通天，興隆繁盛。在熊熊燃燒的旺火周圍，孩子們放爆竹，歡樂地活蹦亂跳，這時，屋內(nèi)是通明的燈火，庭前是燦爛的火花，屋外是震天的響聲，把除夕的熱鬧氣氛推向了最高潮。

　　壓歲錢是由長輩發(fā)給晚輩的，有的家里是吃完年夜飯后，人人坐在桌旁不許走，等大家都吃完了，由長輩發(fā)給晚輩，并勉勵兒孫在在新的一年里學習長進，好好做人。有的人家是父母在夜晚待子女睡熟后，放在他們的枕頭下，更多的人家是小孩子們齊集正廳，高呼爺爺奶奶、爸爸媽媽新年快樂，列隊跪拜;而后伸手要紅包。甚而追討到爺爺媽媽的臥房，一齊跑到床沿，大嚷特嚷：“壓歲錢，壓歲錢!”老人家還嫌不夠熱鬧，故作小氣，由討價還價到圍攻摸索，最后把老祖宗的紅包挖掘出來，大家搶掠一空，才呼嘯而散。老人家逢此情景卻樂不可支，認為這是新年事事順利的好兆頭。過年給壓歲錢，體現(xiàn)出長輩對晚輩的關(guān)愛，和晚輩對長輩的尊敬，是一項整合家庭倫理關(guān)系的民俗活動。
