My winter holiday was very interesting.As that day i got back to my native hometown,cousins and cousines took me to ski.My skiing skill isn't good,got down for 15 times,they laughed at me behind,i can't help smiling， too.The day of Spring Festival was the most happiness day,we had meal for the first,a table of delicious food,that made me so glad.Then we played the fireworks.The childrens waving the lightening ticket while watching the adults playing the fireworks.That was so beautiful!Like the stars rainning down the world.At the end,it was time to get the red bag.we were very exciting,and satisfied.Sometimes,we also went shopping and bought something we like. Winter holiday life was really wonderful!

Deep Wounds of the Sichuan Quake
One of the recurring themes from last year's earthquake in Sichuan is official corruption and the extent it contributed to the collapse of substandard schools, killing a still unknown number of children. Another, less discussed issue, is the degree to which many local officials in the disaster zone were victims themselves.

In Beichuan, where as many as 15,000 residents were killed, a quarter of the local officials also perished in the quake. Many of the survivors lost family members. When my colleague Lin Yang and photographer Ian Teh went back to Sichuan last fall, we met with a Beichuan official whose wife and daughter were both killed on May 12. Zhang Kangqi keeps a drawing of them, sketched from old ID photos, by his bed. "Son, when you left, your father did not have a future, did not have hope, did not have any expectations," Feng wrote. "To be with you is my biggest joy."

We celebrate Teachers'Day on the first Wednesday of September.The celebrations usually take place on Friday.All pupils show performances to teachers in the hall.Pupils present a lot of flowers to teachers.The most interesting thing is that teachers acting as pupils have a lesson with senior pupils acting as teachers.They teach,ask questions and play games as a usual lesson.Teachers usually behave badly,they are late,chew gum,talk to desk mates and have to be reprimanded and sent to the head teacher who is also a senior pupil.
