There are three reasons contributing to this phenomenon. Our attention has been drawn to the learning of English, and thus the study of Chinese has been neglected. Besides, colleges have encouraged students to spend more time on the study of English; while on the contrary, on campus we seldom have Chinese classes. Limited concern has been put on the learning of Chinese. What's more, it is natural to neglect the study of Chinese due to the wrong impression that as native speakers, we all have a good command of Chinese. This phenomenon will do harm to the development of our culture in the long run.
Measures should be taken to improve the situation. To begin with, government should pay more attention to the promotion of Chinese culture so that people, young and old, can learn more and be proud of our own language. The Impact of the Internet on the Way People Communicate
Internet does exert such a profound effect on our life that it revolutionizes the way of people’s living and thinking. As is subtly revealed in the portrayal，there are two parents sitting in the front of computer，who are chatting with their child on the internet. What a meaningful picture!
From my perspective, the electronic contact cannot replace face to face communication owing to the following factors. To begin with, over-reliance on electronic contact will damage the interpersonal relationship, for the cold machine never replaces a warm-hearted greeting face to face. For example, the aged parents would like their only son who works far away home to come back home more often rather than to talk with him on the internet occasionally. What’s more, face to face communication is preferable because it is beneficial to build a harmonious society, for it attaches more importance on human affection and feelings instead of convenience and speed.
Hence, it is necessary for us to use Internet in a reasonable way. After all, Internet is invented to connect you and me, and to bring conveniences to our life rather than set a barrier to keep people beyond reach. If we want to keep our interpersonal relationship more effectively, we should spend more time with them face to face in real life. Only in this way can we not only make full use of the communication tool on the net but also make our relationship tighter.

“大聲跟我讀——A”鏡頭緩緩拉近，明亮的燈光下一個(gè)小姑娘正興致勃勃地當(dāng)著小老師，告訴你吧，那個(gè)老師就是我，至于學(xué)生是誰(shuí)呢？哈，賣個(gè)關(guān)子，讓我慢慢道來(lái)。
最近我發(fā)現(xiàn)媽媽的英語(yǔ)個(gè)別發(fā)音很不標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，我心中不禁萌發(fā)出一個(gè)念頭—搞個(gè)速成培訓(xùn)班教媽媽學(xué)英語(yǔ)。我左哄右騙，死拉硬纏，終于把媽媽這個(gè)學(xué)生給逼上了梁山，于是我的“teacth”生涯就開(kāi)始了。
一復(fù)習(xí)鞏固
根據(jù)我的教學(xué)大綱，決定先幫媽媽復(fù)習(xí)鞏固一下英文字母。我讓媽媽先背一遍字母歌，不背不知道，一聽(tīng)嚇一跳，媽媽有好幾個(gè)字母發(fā)音大走樣，我只好讓媽媽按照我的要求把那些字母每個(gè)讀30遍。開(kāi)始媽媽很虛心，可到后來(lái)就不耐煩了說(shuō)：“我那么聰明只要讀三遍就好了，哪用讀那么多遍呀？”看來(lái)媽媽還真是死鴨子—嘴硬，我得改變策略，硬的不行來(lái)軟的，我陪著笑臉說(shuō)：“媽媽，熟能生巧，業(yè)精于勤，你讀得不錯(cuò)，如果能鞏固鞏固，就更好了。”這招還真管用，服軟不服硬的媽媽又認(rèn)真學(xué)了起來(lái)，不久字母就搞定了。
二單詞訓(xùn)練
學(xué)完字母，當(dāng)然是學(xué)單詞啦！我先教媽媽最簡(jiǎn)單的，我本想看媽媽的好戲，沒(méi)曾想媽媽又快又標(biāo)準(zhǔn)地“吐”出這幾個(gè)單詞，嗯，看來(lái)媽媽的基礎(chǔ)還不差，這幾個(gè)單詞還難不倒她嗎！我壞笑著決定給媽媽增加一點(diǎn)難度，果然不出我所料，我教的這幾個(gè)單詞，媽媽都沒(méi)學(xué)過(guò)，發(fā)音就更別提多走樣了。我反復(fù)糾正，可媽媽就是我行我素，正當(dāng)我苦思冥想著如何糾正時(shí)，瞧見(jiàn)媽媽偷偷摸摸地在本子上寫(xiě)著什么，我很奇怪，趁媽媽不注意之時(shí)，一把搶過(guò)本子一看，差點(diǎn)笑掉大牙，原來(lái)媽媽把“waterbbottle”寫(xiě)成了“我偷抱頭”，英譯中了，我看了把肚子都笑疼了，我邊學(xué)邊把本子還給媽媽，媽用這個(gè)笨辦法搞定了不少短語(yǔ)和單詞呢！
三完美考核
眼看我對(duì)媽媽的培訓(xùn)就快告一段落了，我決定給媽媽來(lái)一次出其不意的考試。一天中午，我把媽媽叫到客廳，開(kāi)始考試，這一考媽媽就露出了廬山真面目，她回答的牛頭不對(duì)馬嘴。唉！姜雖然是老的.辣，但還是要認(rèn)真呀！我甩下一句話：“三心二意，一事無(wú)成，一定要認(rèn)真復(fù)習(xí)�！币院笾灰獘寢層锌眨涂偳埔�(jiàn)媽媽在復(fù)習(xí)，功夫不負(fù)有心人，有一天，媽媽來(lái)接我，我見(jiàn)機(jī)連忙又考起媽媽，媽媽一愣，然后流利地回答起來(lái)，聽(tīng)得出來(lái)，那些單詞短語(yǔ)媽媽也是花了心思的。

Lucy（林靖怡） went to a park with her friends, because she loves outdoor activities. Robin（趙民駿） did not go out on that day, but he was given extra time playing computer games and he received a lovely toy from his parents. Wow, not bad at all!
As for me, I told Jim that I went to the Mixc City(南寧萬(wàn)象城) with my friends. We had really good time there, skiing, eating hamburgers and drinking coffee. To our surprise, I also ran across some other friends, they seemed to have a lot of fun too.
Jim told us when he was young, people did not celebrate Children's Day in America. Luckily, children in America now can have their Children's Day, it is on June 3rd each year. On this day, children in some parts of America may go to churches, have funny games or even a picnic.
We also talked about Children's day in other countries, such as Singapore and New Zealand. In Auckland this year, they had a fun fair on the ASB Show-grounds for children. Entries were free. What’s more, children could have free candy floss and face painting was free too. They could watch live performances, ride on ponies, try the racing cars and other fun games. How fun!
I told Jim that I liked ferry wheels the best. I think it is especially exciting. Then I added, “I wish I were there in Auckland.”
