Besides, because of the big celebration, we have to prepare many things. Therefore, purchase is essential. We buy foods for the big dinner, snacks and fruits for the holiday. Every family prepares a lot for it, so the market is alive at the end of the year. We can buy everything outside. Cleaning and buying have become traditions.

那是在五年級(jí)的時(shí)候，老師說：“邢臺(tái)市教委要舉辦‘少年英語口語大賽’。”參加競(jìng)賽是我夢(mèng)寐以求的，于是第一個(gè)報(bào)了名。經(jīng)過學(xué)區(qū)、市教委選拔，結(jié)果我朝思暮想的愿望實(shí)現(xiàn)了。
我高高興興的準(zhǔn)備了講演稿，又經(jīng)老師修改了一番，便如饑似渴的演練起來。英語不同漢語那么好背，感情也不好表現(xiàn)，練了好幾天，老師檢驗(yàn)總是不合格，這次我真正體會(huì)到“臺(tái)上一分鐘，臺(tái)下十年功”。經(jīng)過幾天的演練。終于，把她背了個(gè)滾瓜爛熟。好不容易等到了比賽的那一天，老師領(lǐng)著我們興高采烈的`奔赴邢臺(tái)賽區(qū)。
進(jìn)入賽場(chǎng)，我一看名單我在四十多號(hào)呢！心想還早呢，就在心里默默地背著稿子……轉(zhuǎn)眼間，剩下幾個(gè)人就輪到我了。就在我走上臺(tái)的那一剎那，看到幾十名參賽的學(xué)生和前排坐著的十幾位評(píng)委，其中還有一個(gè)“老外”，驀地心里多了幾分緊張，就想揣著一只小兔子似的，“怦怦”直跳，只見老師在后面看我，從眼神中看得出是在鼓勵(lì)我，給我加油！頓時(shí)，我有了膽量，我閉眼深吸一口氣，輕輕松松的演講起來，想春節(jié)放鞭炮一樣，一氣呵成。這時(shí)，我看到了評(píng)委滿意的笑容，老師也高興的笑了，我提在嗓子眼兒的石頭也終于落了地。

一、記敘文的特點(diǎn)
1. 敘述的人稱
英語的記敘文一般是以第一或第三人稱的角度來敘述的`。用第一稱表示的是由敘述者親眼所見、親耳所聞的經(jīng)歷。它的優(yōu)點(diǎn)在于能把故事的情節(jié)通過我來傳達(dá)給讀者，使人讀后感到真實(shí)可信，如身臨其境。如：
