Children wear their new clothes and get some presents from Father Christmas. Many families celebrate Christmas with a Christmas party and their friends and relatives join them in the party. They always say, “Merry Christmas!”

Most of us stayed at home to celebrate the New Year. And some of us went to travel with their families. In short, all of us had a happy winter holiday.

人的愛好有很多，有的人喜歡練字，有的人喜歡彈鋼琴，還有的人喜歡唱歌。而對于我來說，英語是我最喜歡的，你問我為什么？別急，讓我細細給你說來。
我爸媽特別重視英語這門學科，他們總是在我耳邊嘮叨：“你啊，要好好學英語，我們小時候條件不好，學不了英語，現(xiàn)在你條件好了，要好好珍惜才行��！”我每次聽了這話后，心里總會想：英語真有這么重要嗎？直到上了小學一年級，我才明白了英語的重要性。
在我上小學一年級時，第一節(jié)英語課上英語老師花了大半節(jié)課來給我們講英語的重要性，說什么“現(xiàn)在英語全國各地都在學”，“你們要是學不好英語以后想出國去玩都不會與人溝通”等等之類的話，從而讓我對學好英語下了很大的決心，于是，我的英語成績一直名列前茅。
記得有一次英語課上，老師教我們讀一個很長的`英語句子，只見英語老師在上面嘰里呱啦的說著些英語，當時全班懵完了，幾秒鐘之后才反應過來。老師看見我們這一臉懵呆的表情，就一個單詞一個單詞地教了起來，我們讀得很認真，老師見我們把每個單詞都讀熟了，就把單詞連起來讀，就這樣，我們學會了那個句子。
學了這么久的英語，我也對英語有了很大的感悟：英語也像中文，從易到難，只有努力刻苦，你才能學好英語。
