My grade school days are the most wonderful time I have ever had. In those days I always wanted as eagerly to learn as a dog prowls about in search of food. The teachers taught me not only the three Rs but also the way to observe the world surrounding us. They laid more stress on observation than on memorization. Thus we had much time to talk over and trade our learning experiences. What excited me most during my grade school days, however, was to be out collecting specimens of the butterfly. Once, on a sunny day and after walking a good while, we reached a one began to catch the butterflies with great excitement while the teacher told us about the living habit of them. Though we spent more time in playing than in catching butterflies, we still had a rich collection when we went home, and a rich knowledge of wildlife into the bargain. The girls were no less frantic than the boys when they were having a good time at such games as jump-rope, hopscotch and battledore and shuttlecock.

07月06日，我跟朋友們一起去小梅沙度過了一次愉快的假期。在到達小梅沙時，我們激動不已，因為這是我們的首次海邊度假。小梅沙確實是一個度假的好去處。那里天空明亮又干凈，清風溫和宜人，沙灘柔軟舒適，大海又是如此地壯麗。那一刻我們都神清氣爽，仿佛置身天堂。We did many kinds of activities at the seaside. Some of us went swimming in the sea; some went surfing; some dived underwater; some had a walk along the sea; some played sports on the beach. But I just took some photos of the beautiful sea scenery. All of us had a happy time.
我們在那玩了很多海邊活動。一些人去海里游泳，一些人去沖浪；有的'在海邊散步，有的玩起了海灘運動。只有我一直在為這美麗的海邊景色拍照留影，這一天我們過得十分愉快。In the evening, when it was about the time for leaving, we were unwilling to go, because the beautiful sea scenery deeply attracted us. We all expected for our next coming. So I could say that the seaside holiday was both relaxing and wonderful.
晚上，當我們即將離開的時候，我們對這里的海邊美景深深吸引，十分不舍離去。我們很希望下次能再來。所以我可以很肯定地說這次海邊度假既輕松又愉悅。

Autumn is my favorite season of the year. It’s a time of change and transition, as the leaves on the trees begin to turn from green to a beautiful array of oranges, yellows, and reds. The air becomes crisp and cool, making it the perfect weather for taking long walks and enjoying the scenery. One of my favorite things to do in the autumn is to go apple picking. I love visiting the local orchards and picking fresh, juicy apples to take home and bake into pies or crisps. The smell of freshly baked apple desserts is a scent that is synonymous with autumn for me. Another reason I love autumn is the festivals and holidays that it brings. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and the autumn season is the perfect time to enjoy all of the spooky decorations and fun costumes. Thanksgiving is also a big part of the autumn season and it’s a time to come together with friends and family to give thanks for all of the blessings in our lives. Overall, autumn is a season that is filled with warmth, comfort, and joy. It’s a time to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life, like the changing colors of the leaves and the cool breeze in the air. I look forward to autumn every year and all of the wonderful memories that it brings.

The traveler was greatly surprised.He turned back and ask-ed,"Why didnt you tell me that before?”
"How could I have told you that before?"answered Aesop,"I didnt know how fast you could walk."

In recent years ninny cities are faced with the problem of heavy traffic. People have to waste more time on their way home or to work and even might be involved in an accident. With the development of industry and population expansion, this problem becomes more and more serious.
One solution is to lay down more roads. The solution has many advantages. For example, it can efficiently decrease the number of buses and trucks in many main streets. But it will take up so much land that crowded cities become more crowded. Another solu tion is to open up more bus lines. If more bus lines should be opened up,the number of bicles and cars in the main streets would be greatly decreased. But the disadvantage of this solution is that many people wouldn’t feel so convenient os they used to.
近年來，許多城市都面臨著交通擁擠這個問題。人們在上班或回家的路上不得不浪費許多寶貴的時間，甚至還會出車禍。隨著工業(yè)的發(fā)展和人口的增長，這個問題變得越來越嚴重。
解決這個問題的一個辦法是修建更多的道路。這一方法有許多好處。譬如說，它可以有效地減少許多干線上的汽車和卡車的流量。但是這種方法也會占有許多土地，使本來擁擠的'城市變得更擁擠。另外一種方法是多開辟公共汽車線路，如果這樣，干線上的自行車和汽車的數(shù)量會大大減少。但這樣做的弊病是許多人會覺得不像原來那樣方便。
In my opinion, the right solution to the problem is the combination of the two, thatis, to lay down more roads in spacious areas and to open up more bus lines in downtown.
依我看，好的解決辦法是二者結(jié)合，就是說在寬闊的地區(qū)多修路而在鬧市區(qū)要多開辟公共汽車線路。
