一天夜晚，燈光下媽媽在家里邊做玩具，邊看著新聞。我在書房里看書。突然，媽媽叫著：“穎兒，快來(lái)看！這新聞上的工人在和外國(guó)人說(shuō)著什么？”我跑出來(lái)一看，只見電視上正在播放著一群外國(guó)人在參觀一個(gè)玩具公司，一個(gè)外國(guó)人正在和一位工人用英語(yǔ)在交談著的新聞。
“媽媽，我剛開始學(xué)的也聽不明白，不過(guò)播音員不是解釋著嗎？”我搖搖頭說(shuō)。
“快看，這工人最后說(shuō)的'Goodbye（再見）是什么意思？”
“那是再見的意思。您不也初中畢業(yè)嗎？您怎么聽不懂英語(yǔ)呢？”
“哎，別提了，那時(shí)我學(xué)習(xí)很不認(rèn)真，成天只知道玩，現(xiàn)在后悔也來(lái)不及了�！眿寢屔钋榈赝送�，“穎兒，你一定要好好學(xué)習(xí)呀，不能像媽媽這樣一無(wú)所長(zhǎng)呀�！�
