Nowadays, many people like to study abroad. Studying abroad is often considered as a great opportunity which will lead to bright future in one's ride of passage. Not only can we learn different cultures and knowledge from foreign countries, studying abroad can also enrich our lives.
One coin has two sides. Likewise, different people have different minds. Conservative and negative concerns about studying abroad have been gradually emerging from our society. People start to wonder what goes wrong with studying abroad. There are a couple of issues worth of our discussions.
Disadvantages of studying abroad may affect one's life culturally and economically. We Chinese will experience cultural shocks if we study abroad and live in another country. Some peers may not be able to adapt to a new environment of their studying and living, which may be very different from that of theirs. Life is beautiful, and it is hard. If one does not feel comfortable with the new culture of another country, he will not be happy about studying in that country.
In addition, studying abroad can cost students a great deal of living expenses. Some Chinese students are so academically successful that they receive scholarships in their studies. However, most peers who study abroad do not receive scholarships. Furthermore, they have to deal with many unexpected hardships by living away from their parents and homeland. For example, medical insurance, daily foods, clothes, rents and transportation can generate a large amount of living expenses. Often time, they need to heavily depend on their parents' overseas monthly payments.

The value of knowledge itself need to be considered first in university education even though the course is not as practical as skills and technology. In Chinese culture, morality education is always took at first. It said that the way of real learning is to develop and expand virtue, to innovate peoples’ opinions, to get the best goodness. In addition, there are four stages in the success of a gentleman: first, to cultivate his moral characters; second, regulate his own family; third, rule the state successfully; forth, let the world get peace. Many Americans who usually visit family and friends by plane are driving shorter distances instead this week. Some mental health experts say the attacks have frightened people. They say people feel safer and happier close to home. More than any other holiday, Thanksgiving is a celebration of family and home.
Many people say that this year they are especially thankful for their families and friends and the good things in their lives. On Thanksgiving, people enjoy a long day of cooking, eating and talking. The traditional meal almost always includes the turkey with a bread mixture cooked inside. Other traditional Thanksgiving food served with turkey are sweet potatoes, cranberries and pumpkin pie. Stores are said to sell more food at Thanksgiving than at any other time of the year, and many people eat more food at Thanksgiving than at any other time of the year. Last year, my parents and I arrived in the United States on the other side of the ocean, living in Chicago, the third largest city in the United States. The city life there is very different from the city life in China.

Most people in China live in public housing or apartments, and there are not so many people in the United States. People usually live in semi-detached houses. The left half of the family, the right half the other family, or up and down two families, the economy many people live in the independent house. The two houses are not large, usually made of beautiful bricks, and the first floor has steps to connect the ground and houses, and the houses are numbered with metal. There was a small garden around the house, with lush trees and green grass, and some tables and chairs. There is a fence outside the garden, a password lock on the fence, someone with a key to the password can go in, so it's safe to live in it.

Car penetration in China is lower than in the u.s., where most Chinese residents take public transportation, and almost every home in the United States has a car. Why?
