When I was growing up took place in the story as many of the stars in the sky, countless numbers of which have a very deep thing, and that is by bike.
In my six-year-old when grandpa bought me a bicycle, as the wheels are about the bike, so it will not fall. Frequently as a child to ride, then ride a little love, has been placed on the garage, since the plot has been covered by a thick layer of ash.
One day I go home I saw a tall and almost high-skilled boy riding a bicycle to the area where high speed, power and prestige really ah! I want to go home after quarreling with her mother on the bike s two wheels removed. Mom said to me: small wheel, you will fall down by the pain. I said: I do not Pateng. Finally, I fail to beat the mother, only two small wheels removed.
The next day happened to be Sunday, the weather was fine in particular, my mother has to rest at home. She took early in the morning, I called up, I wonder what my mother asked, her mother said: Today you are taught to ride a bike. I am ecstatic, quickly changed pajamas. To bike from the garage to launch the beginning I held on to her mother riding a bike, his mother a hand-song, I fall on the legs in the air. I finally could not insist on, shouted out: I do not practiced. Furious and ready to go home. Then my mother said to me loudly: coward, it can not stand the pain all, we must not afraid of hard work, can not give up halfway. And then she gently said: I am sure you will succeed!

when i was growing up, i had an old neighbor named dr. gibbs. he didn’t look like any doctor i’d ever known. he never yelled at us for playing in his yard. i remember him as someone who was a lot nicer than circumstances warranted.
when dr. gibbs wasn’t saving lives, he was planting trees. his house sat on ten acres, and his life’s goal was to make it a forest.the good doctor had some interesting theories concerning plant husbandry. he came from the “no pain, no gain” school of horticulture. he never watered his new trees, which flew in the face of conventional wisdom. once i asked why. he said that watering plants spoiled them, and that if you water them, each successive tree generation will grow weaker and weaker. so you have to make things rough for them and weed out the weenie trees early on.
he talked about how watering trees made for shallow roots, and how trees that weren’t watered had to grow deep roots in search of moisture. i took him to mean that deep roots were to be treasured.so he never watered his trees. he’d plant an oak and, instead of watering it every morning, he’d beat it with a rolled-up newspaper. smack! slap! pow! i asked him why he did that, and he said it was to get the tree’s attention.
dr. gibbs went to glory a couple of years after i left home. every now and again, i walked by his house and looked at the trees that i’d watched him plant some twenty-five years ago. they’re granite strong now. big and robust. those trees wake up in the morning and beat their chests and drink their coffee black.i planted a couple of trees a few years back. carried water to them for a solid summer. sprayed them. prayed over them. the whole nine yards. two years of coddling has resulted in trees that expect to be waited on hand and foot. whenever a cold wind blows in, they tremble and chatter their branches. sissy trees.
funny things about those trees of dr. gibbs’. adversity and deprivation seemed to benefit them in ways comfort and ease never could.every night before i go to bed, i check on my two sons. i stand over them and watch their little bodies, the rising and falling of life within. i often pray for them. mostly i pray that their lives will be easy. but lately i’ve been thinking that it’s time to change my prayer.this change has to do with the inevitability of cold winds that hit us at the core. i know my children are going to encounter hardship, and i’m praying they won’t be naive. there’s always a cold wind blowing somewhere.
so i’m changing my prayer. because life is tough, whether we want it to be or not. too many times we pray for ease, but that’s a prayer seldom met. what we need to do is pray for roots that reach deep into the eternal, so when the rains fall and the winds blow, we won’t be swept asunder.

I want to believe that everyone has their own growth experience. Today I will tell you about my upbringing.
When I was four or five years old, my father bought two small goldfish and kept them at home. One day, I saw my father and mother taking a nap. Then I went to see the little goldfish, and suddenly I thought: can the little goldfish live in the air and make it live in the air? I took one of my little goldfish out of the water, and after a while, I changed it for the second one, and I felt a little sleepy and went to bed.
When I woke up, I went to see the little goldfish and gave them some food. I thought: fish will not eat fish food, want to change the taste, I hurriedly take out cake and milk to put in.
The next morning, I hurried to the fish bowl, I thought: will the fish be very happy? Who knows? Oh, my god! The little fish died and I burst into tears.
Now I understand that fish can't live in the air, and it doesn't like to drink milk or eat cake. I'll never do it again.
If there is any single factor that makes for success in living, it is the ability to profit by defeat. every success i know has been achieved because the person was able to analyze defeat and actually profit by it in his next undertaking. confuse defeat with failure, and you are doomed indeed to failure. for it isn't defeat that makes you fail: it is your own refusal to see in defeat the guide and encouragement to success.
defeats are nothing to be ashamed of. they are routine incidents in the life of every man who achieves success. but defeat is a dead loss unless you do face it without humiliation, analyze it and learn why you failed. defeat, in other words, can help to cure its own cause. not only does defeat prepare us for success, but nothing can arouse within us such a compelling desire to succeed. if you let a baby grasp a rod and try to pull it away, he will cling more and more tightly until his whole weight is suspended. it is this same reaction which should give you new and greater strength every time you are defeated. if you exploit the power which defeat gives, you can accomplish with it far more than you are capable of.

we’re like the cream. when the cream rises to the top, it separates itself from the milk. perhaps that is what the new age movement is really all about.we find ourselves lonely at the top. yes, it is.
it is no different with political enlightenment, spiritual enlightenment, or even becoming enlightened about relating to each other. the more mentally healthy you become, the more spiritual, the more balanced, the wealthier, the more global you become… the more alone you may feel.
often, we find ourselves unable to find those other rare individuals who are choosing the same path as ours. the path of sloppy and lazy is full of other people to meet and talk to. the path of whiners is full. the path of being safe, generic, and boring is so crowded you almost cannot even move forward. isn’t that why you left that path? you had a need to move forward, a need for some elbowroom, a need to spread your arms wide, a need to be seen as special, unique, different. the masses may admire you, but they are not going to be able to really relate to you. you will be alone much of the time.
do not be afraid of the loneliness of enlightenment. do not force others to agree with you. simply give your heart and know that you are growing and that they are free to grow or not. it is the nature of the game. we are all free to choose our paths.
Today is my 13th day at home with mom and dad and my brother. I'm very happy because mom and dad haven't been with me for a long time. I think all the children are like this, but my aunt's brother is not as happy as me. He hasn't seen his mother for a long time. I asked my mother why she wasn't at home. My mother told me that because she was going to work, more people needed her than my brother.
From childhood, I was most afraid of my aunt, because my parents sometimes took me to the hospital for injection, which was very painful. Aunt and they wear the same white coat, sometimes very fierce. Whenever I don't obey, my mother will say let my aunt stab me. So I always dare not provoke her. Sometimes I would secretly speak ill of my aunt with my mother.
But this time, my mother was very serious. She told me that my aunt was very powerful and powerful. There are many people in our country who are ill. Those who are ill may die. Death means never to see their parents again. And if healthy people have contact with sick people, they will get sick. Aunt is helping the sick people to get better. Also in the protection of healthy people, let them happy life. I asked my mother, "will aunt get sick?" my mother said she didn't know, but she would take good care of herself. Mother also said that the world is big, there are many people like aunts, they left their families and children, and fight against the virus. They are all great angels in white. They are the same angels in fairy tales. Angels can solve the world's pain and bring happiness to people.
My mother also said that there was an archangel among the angels, a kind grandfather, Grandpa Zhong Nanshan, who was leading all the angels to fight together. Grandpa Zhong said that as long as I stayed at home and washed my hands frequently, I was making contributions to the motherland. I will do well!
Although aunt is very fierce sometimes, I don't want her to be sick. I want to grow up quickly and become an angel like aunt and grandpa Zhong. I want to cure the illness and save people and give them happiness. I have learned a new idiom - "unite as one". That is to say, if we work together, our country will not get sick! Let's unite as one and fight against the virus!
