        旅游英語作文 篇2

I spend most of the time at home during this summer vacation. When I was at home, I do homework by myself, and help my parents with the housework. But the most memorable time in this summer is when I travel in Yellow River Forest Park.

I went to visit the Yellow River Forest Park in July together with three of my classmates. It was very boring when staying in the bus for a long timewhich made me doze off all the time and at some time. I nearly struck my head on the chair in the front of me. After three hours' journey by bus we finally got to the park. But to my disappointthere was nothing interesting here which were quiet normal things. Compared with the my school I stayed in here was very noisy and messy.

Though the park is beside the Yellow River the air is still a little smelly because there are a lot of animals such as horses cocks and so on here which make lots of wastes every day while few people clean them. In a word the park is not so good as I had expected and I felt unsatisfied about it.

I love traveling. Traveling not only broadens my horizons but also opens my eyes to the world. What's more, it refreshes me. You can go to Disneyland and experience what it's like to be “a child again!” You can visit one of the “seven wonders of the world,” such as the Grand Canyon and feel the magnificence of nature! You can taste the “magical” ice water on a glacier, which can help you become more beautiful and make you live longer. Just forget all trifles and burdens that you have in your mind. Experience is a type of living knowledge. You'll be sure to experience many new things when traveling. You don't even need a tour guide if you long for more freedom. Just don't forget to bring your backpack!

Travel is a very good means of broadening a person's perspective.

Travel may relieve a person of boredom and gloom.

Travelers can choose different modes of transportation which have advantages and disadvantages.

        旅游英語作文 篇3

Today is Sunday, sunny, blue skies. Mom and Dad took me to travel, but this is the first time I travel ah! I am happy to jump and jump, heart happy.

I am curious to ask my father, said: "Dad, where do we play?" "Go to you will know it!" Dad replied.

Mom and Dad happily took me to a place, got into the car, took a long, long time, and get off again. Dad said to me: "daughter, you look carefully, where is the place, think about it." I looked around for a long time, very crowded! Think of it, I am surprised to say: "Dad, this is not my dream want to go to the deer farm it?" "Yes, you know today is what day? Today is your 10th birthday!" Dad said End, I immediately stunned, did not expect, I do not remember their own birthday, Mom and Dad but remember, gave me such a surprise. At this time, my tears of excitement, staring at them. My mother said to me: "silly boy, do not cry. Enter it!" We bought a ticket, warm ticket sister gave us a game map, the map is written in detail, when what game play are clear Clearly written out, really convenient!

Cool! As soon as I entered, I saw that many of my children were playing, and they were sweating profusely and smiling with their faces. I took the map and saw a lot of items to play, such as: Ferris wheel, roller coaster, carousel, water bike ... ... all kinds of games have, everything, everything. I first went to the carousel where to play, to sit on top, the Trojan turned left turn, turned my dizzy, and finally stopped. I went to the Ferris wheel to play, I sat up, the heart pounding, Ferris wheel slowly turned, and I immediately closed my eyes, after a while, I quietly opened his eyes. Found that as long as I looked down, you will see the whole scene of the deer farm, very spectacular, this feeling too comfortable, as if floating in the sky. At noon, we entered the animal theater, watching animal performances, my mother bought us a bowl of fragrant beef noodles, delicious! We can side of the side to eat with relish. After watching the show, my father took us away ...

This is the first time I am most memorable to travel, is my first birthday to the 10th birthday, but also to a place I want to go, I will remember in mind!

        旅游英語作文 篇4

That was the first time for me to come to America. The trip was much more exciting than I had expected. As planned, I got my plane ticket and started my journey. Everything went smoothly at first. I departed from my home city Qingdao and changed a larger plane in Seoul, South Korea. The second day the plane arrived in Chicago on time and I was in high spirits for I almost got to my destination—SMSU (Southwest Missouri State University) in Springfield. Just at that time something unexpected happened.

When I went through the customs, the immigration officer asked me about the 9-year-old boy who travelled with me all the way from China. As a matter of fact, I didn‘t really know the boy before. Before I left China, his grandparents heard that I was coming to Springfield through Chicago, so they asked me to take this boy to his parents who work in Chicago. The boy had all the necessary documents, including his passport, American visa, etc. Without any hesitation, I agreed to take care of the boy on my way to Chicago. I explained to the officer, but he insisted that I should show the boy‘s parents?letter inviting the boy to America, which we didn‘t bring with us. The officer asked us to stay aside and after a while, another officer came and brought us to a special room and ordered us to be quiet. When I looked around, I found another man there, whose ankle was fastened with fetters to a bench leg. It was obvious that I had lost my freedom. They probably thought I was a smuggler who smuggle children to America.

The plane for Springfield was leaving soon. I tried to explain, but they refused to listen. They just asked us to sit still. After about 30 minutes, one officer came to ask me about the boy‘s parents?telephone number and I told him they were waiting outside the Customs Office and told him their names. The officer said he would find them. After another 20 minutes, he came back and returned my passport and allowed me to go, but he did not bring the boy‘s parents in. His parents were not allowed into the Customs Office, so the boy had to wait. Just imagine, how frightening for a boy who was only 9 years old, speaking no English and was told to stay there waiting! So I said: "No, I won‘t go unless the boy goes with me or you let his parents come to fetch him." On hearing this, the officer asked me to wait and after 10 minutes, he came out and gave us the boy‘s passport and allowed us to leave. I looked at my watch. I had 8 minutes left to get onto my plane. We hurried to look for our luggage. Just as the old saying goes, "When it rains, it pours."One of my luggage bags in which I put all my daily neccessities was missing. I looked everywhere but failed to find it. An officer there told me to go and collect it in Springfield. I had to take the boy to his parents. There were so many people waiting outside. I could not find his parents. I had never seen them before. The boy was so young that I dared not let him go alone to look for his parents for fear he might get lost. Finally I had to call out his father‘s name at the top of my voice, and getting a few stares.

They probally thought I was mad. Luckily he heard me and my mission of taking the boy to his parents was fulfilled. But there was only about 2 minutes before the plane took off. So we (his father and I) hurried to the terminal, only to be told the plane had left exactly 2 minutes before. The officer at the terminal suggested us to take the next day‘s plane for it was already 9 pm. I was really exhausted. The only thing I could do then was to find the nearest hotel, "Hilton Hotel"to stay for the night.

The next day I took the first plane to Springfield. My luggage was still missing, and they just asked me to wait and promised to send it to me the next day. I waited and waited... one day... two days... three days... four days... but still it didn‘t come. I felt very depressed, for I could not change my clothes for all these days, and they had begun to smell. But what touched me most was that all the colleagues in my department tried their best to help me and to comfort me. Fortunately the luggage arrived six days later. Although the suitcase was broken, everything inside was safe.
