Chinese New Year is a Chinese traditional festival. We also call it the Spring Festival. It is on lunar January 1st.
On New Year’s Eve, all the people sit around the desk and have a big family dinner. There are some vegetables, some fish, some meat, some fruits and some drink like juice, Coke, Pepsi and some nice wine. Overall, this is a good and delicious dinner. After dinner, we always watch TV New Year progammes. We have a wonderful evening on New Year’s Eve.On the first day of the Spring Festival, most of people get up early and say “happy new year” to each other. For breakfast, people often eat dumplings and baozi. After breakfast, people often make many delicious foods, and children often play cards, computer games and fireworks. On the second and third day, we visit friends and relatives.
Everyone is busy on Chinese New Year, and everyone is happy, too.

Bicycle--An Important Means of Transport in China
There are several reasons why bicycle is so popular in China. To begin with, it is so cheap that every family can afford to buy one. Some families even have two or three of it. Secondly, it is so convenient that with a bicycle, you can go to any place you like. Besides, you don＇t have to find a parking lot in a crowded street or have a garage at home. Finally, cycling has become a kind of sport that many people enjoy.
Compared with a car, a bicycle has both advantages and disadvantages. For instance, a car uses gas as its fuel, as aresult, it may cause air pollution. A bicycle, however, is pollution free. A long travel is surely not fit for a bicycle. But a person who sits all day long in a car might get fat and become unhealthy.
I think that since bicycle is so popular in China, it will certainly remain so for a long time.Many things are being done to make cars popular in China, but even when that time comes, bicycle will still be welcome.

This afternoon, we took the bus to the foot of badaling. When the tour guide asked me whether I would climb up or take a block, my friends and I decided to climb up! Because we feel that; Climb up, you can be a real good man!
We came to the foot of the mountain and began to climb. Along the winding road, we climbed, one side according to the phase. Looking at the endless wall, my mind is full of thoughts. Touching the old wall gently, I saw the working people building the Great Wall. This is the Great Wall after thousands of years of wind and rain. I can't help Shouting: "Great Wall, I love you! Great Wall, I'm coming!"
Back to reality, we started to climb the Great Wall again. We climbed happily, and then, suddenly, we came across a steep road, which was probably steeper than the tiandu peak. We were crawling and panting. We were so tired that we sat down on the railings for a while. With such perseverance, we finally climbed to the highest point of the badaling Great Wall, which is 888 meters high. Chu Yuan drowned (溺死) on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 277 B.C. Chinese citizens now throw bamboo leaves (竹葉) filled with cooked rice into the water. Therefore the fish could eat the rice rather than the hero poet. This later on turned into the custom of eating tzungtzu and rice dumplings(棕子).
