Far and away the most important holiday in China is Spring Festival， also known as the Chinese New Year。 To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the West。 the dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar rather than the GREgorian calendar， so the timing of the holiday varies from late January to early February。
To the ordinary Chinese， the festival actually begins on the eve of the lunar New Year’s Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar calendar。 But the 15th of the first month， which normally is called the Lantern Festival， means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the country。

盼望著，盼望著，春節(jié)終于降臨了。早上，我睜開雙眼，朦朧地看見窗外的天空還灰蒙蒙的，想再睡一會(huì)兒。但一種忙碌的氣息使我打起了精神。我穿上嶄新的衣服，心里是無(wú)比的愉快。新的一天又開始了。
早上我掌廚
一大早起來(lái)，我本以為我是第一個(gè)起床的。想不到爸爸媽媽早起床了，他們正在拜菩薩�？匆娢襾�(lái)了，媽媽就問我早上想吃什么，我說(shuō)吃桂花園子吧。媽媽從冰箱里拿出一包桂花園子。由于媽媽實(shí)在太忙了，就叫我自己燒。我想這可難不倒我，野炊時(shí)我可學(xué)了幾招。我把熱水放在鍋里，然后放在電磁爐上，一會(huì)兒，熱水沸騰起來(lái)，我把園子放下去，蓋上鍋蓋，幾分鐘后，園子浮起來(lái)了，還胖乎乎的，這說(shuō)明熟了。我把園子盛起來(lái)，放上糖。哇，這就燒好了。我嘗了，還給媽媽長(zhǎng)了一下，媽媽還說(shuō)太好吃了！
新年討紅包
“新年到來(lái)，紅包拿來(lái)�！薄靶履昕鞓�！”在走向爺爺家的路上，我聽見好多人都在向長(zhǎng)輩們討紅包，祝福他們�！岸＿��！睜敔敿业搅耍瑺敔攣�(lái)開門，“新年到了，祝爺爺長(zhǎng)命百歲！”我說(shuō)�！耙沧Ｄ愫煤脤W(xué)習(xí)，天天向上�！睜敔斝χ�。我把右手一攤。爺爺一時(shí)還沒反應(yīng)過(guò)來(lái)，但又馬上從口袋里掏出紅包給我�！爸x謝爺爺！”我們待了一會(huì)兒，又到外公外婆家討紅包。
今天我的收益不少。我真高興，錢包鼓了。啊，春節(jié)真快樂，我愛春節(jié)！

I am cooking
