　　LaBa essays

　　Laba is celebrated on the eighth day of the last lunar month, referring to the traditional start of celebrations for the Chinese New Year. La in Chinese means the 12th lunar month and ba means eight.

　　Legends about the origin of this festivity abound. One holds that over 3,000 years ago sacrificial rites called La were held in the twelfth lunar month when people offered their preys to the gods of heaven and earth. The Chinese characters for prey and the twelfth month were interchangeable then, and ever since La has been used to refer to both.

　　Since the festival was held on the eighth day of the Last month, people later appended the number eight (ba in Chinese), giving us the current Laba .

　　The majority Han Chinese have long followed the tradition of eating Laba rice porridge on the Laba Festival. The date usually falls in mid-January.

　　1.主題至上

　　一篇好的作文最基本的就是緊扣文章主題，遵循特定的文體格式，選用恰當?shù)恼Z言合理組織文章結(jié)構(gòu)，內(nèi)容同統(tǒng)一、連貫、語法、拼寫、標點正確，用詞恰當。作文的第一步是仔細審題，小伙伴們要仔細閱讀試題要求及相關(guān)信息，準確把握出題者意圖，切忌拿到試題后提筆就寫，一旦寫的`內(nèi)容偏離了題目要求，那可就無力回天了。所以在考試時一定要仔細閱讀作文要求，確定文章要闡明的主題或要表達的中心思想，正所謂“磨刀不誤砍柴工”，只有做好準備工作，才有后邊的穩(wěn)定發(fā)揮。

　　2.清楚表達

　　考研作為一種選拔性的考試，對英語的要求也會稍微高一點，所以文章要做到表達清楚，文字連貫，就必須在下筆之前在腦海中有較為清楚的大體框架。每個段落盡量保證根據(jù)提綱所確立的不同主題句展開，而且各段落的主題句將段落的各個部分凝聚在一起，流利地表現(xiàn)出段落索要表現(xiàn)的思想，使閱卷老師能夠清楚地了解段落之間的聯(lián)系。切忌生搬硬套各種經(jīng)典句型，打亂文章思路，使得作文結(jié)構(gòu)松散，表意不明確，甚至偏離主題。所以在平時更要勤學多練，養(yǎng)成良好的寫作習慣。

　　3.句式豐富

　　基礎(chǔ)相對比較薄弱的同學對英語寫作通常沒有信心，主要以基本簡單句型為主，在考試時不敢使用難度稍高的句型，哪怕自己已經(jīng)掌握，可是為了避免犯錯還是一再小心謹慎，導致通篇文章都是簡單句式，沒有亮點，顯得刻板，毫無生氣。其實英語結(jié)構(gòu)和句式也是豐富多彩的，寫作時豐富多變的句式會讓作文看起來更加生動活潑，亮點頻出。所以要想寫出高質(zhì)量的作文，讓作文成為自己的奪分點，還是要在平時就開始多練筆。

They devided into two parts and round their balls to throw to the other part's little soiders and try to occupy the other part's base under the enermy's heavy fire of snowball. And when the day gets dark, children will go back to their own families, breathe on the window and draw some masterpieces. Night comes, with children go to bed, the snow slowly and quietly pour down, quilt over the ground, and everything in the earth becomes silent and clean then.
