　　紫禁城

　　The former Imperial Palace,known to Westerners as the Forbidden City,rectangular in shape and 720 thousand square meters in size,is surrounded by walls ten meters high and a moat 52 meters wide.

　　前皇宮,被西方人稱為紫禁城,形為矩形的狀和規(guī)模為72萬平方米,周圍是十米高的城墻和寬52米的護(hù)城河。

　　The buildings with some nine thousand rooms are more than 560 years old and constitute the largest and most complete existing ensemble of traditional Chinese architecture.

　　有九千房間房屋都超過560歲,是中國現(xiàn)存最大、最完整的傳統(tǒng)建筑群。

　　Construction of the palace begins in 1406 during the reign of the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty,Yongle.

　　宮殿的建設(shè)開始于1406年明朝第三個皇帝,永樂統(tǒng)治期間。

　　It was finally completed in 1420.The Imperial Palace is composed of the outer palace,where the emperors held official audiences,and the inner palace,which served as the living quarters for the imperial family.

　　最終在1420年完成。故宮由皇帝舉行官方活動的外宮和作為皇室的生活區(qū)的內(nèi)殿組成。

　　This harmonious assemblage of buildings displays the best characteristics of ancient Chinese architecture—majestic style,flawless construction,and fine coordination of the while and the parts.

　　現(xiàn)在,紫禁城,故宮博物館,是一個以其宏偉的建筑和珍貴的文化藝術(shù)的文物每天吸引大約一萬名游客的文物寶庫。

　　Last summer vacation,my family and I went to Qingdao by train.There was always sunshine and fresh air,which made us so comfortable.We went to the seaside,the sea was as blue as the sky,and bathing in the sunshine on the beach, was really an enjoyable thing.I also picked up a lot of colorful shells with my little sister.There we bought many interesting souvenirs,I was planing to send them to my friends.We ate many tings there,such as fish,prawn,and so on.They are very delicious.Then we lived in a clean and tidy hotel,and the price was not so expensive.I like Qingdao very much,and if I got a chance,I hope to come here again,it is such a beautiful and interesting place.

　　上個暑假，我和我的家人坐火車去了青島，那里總是陽光明媚,空氣也很清新，令人心情舒暢。我們?nèi)チ撕＿�，海水和天空一樣�?藍(lán)，在沙灘上沐浴著陽光，是件很享受的事兒。我和妹妹還撿了好多五顏六色的貝殼。我們在這里買了好多有趣的紀(jì)念品，我打算送給我的朋友們。我們在這里吃到了很多東西，比如魚，蝦..真的很美味。

　　An Unforgettable Travel

　　Making a trip to ShangHai on May 18 was an experience which I will never forget。

　　I arrived in ShangHai at about 2 o'clock，and immediately took a No。5 bus to the sea area。The beautiful blue sea was so large that I couldn't see the other side of it。After getting off the bus，I went straight to the shore。Taking off my shoes，I put my feet into the water。The water was cool，and walking in the water was such a great joy that I didn't want to stop。Then I collected shells。When it got dark，I sat on the shore，watching the sea。The night scene was simply marvelous!

　　Finally I had to go back。It was an unforgettable day in my life。
