The most popular type of lantern is the "horse-racing" one, in which figures or animals rotate around the vertical axis of the lantern.
The special food for the Lantern Festival is Yuen Sin or Tong Yuen. These are round dumplings made with sticky rice flour. They can be filled and served as a sweet snack or made plain and cooked in a soup with vegetables, meat and dried shrimp. The round shape of the dumpling is a symbol of wholeness, pleteness and unity.

一輛一輛的花車隊(duì)伍開了過來，五花八門的表演贏得了觀眾們的陣陣喝彩聲：穿紅著綠的秧歌隊(duì)扭著歡快的秧歌、火紅的腰鼓跳起來、驚險(xiǎn)刺激的高蹺表演、幽默的旱船表演、憨態(tài)可掬的大頭娃娃、舞龍舞獅舞出了盛世祥和!
到了晚上，我們又結(jié)伴去看煙花，一路上人們扶老攜幼，他們興高采烈的邊說邊笑，從四面八方匯聚在一起觀賞焰火晚會(huì)，共度激情夜晚。
7點(diǎn)28分，煙花晚會(huì)正式開始了!
