長城歷史悠久，始建于春秋戰(zhàn)國時(shí)期，歷史達(dá)2000多年。自秦朝開始，修筑長城一直是一項(xiàng)大工程。據(jù)記載，秦始皇使用了近百萬勞動(dòng)力修筑長城，占全國人口的1/20!當(dāng)時(shí)沒有任何機(jī)械，全部勞動(dòng)都得靠人力，而工作環(huán)境又是高山峻嶺、峭壁深壑。可以想象，沒有大量的人進(jìn)行艱苦的勞動(dòng)，是無法完成這項(xiàng)巨大工程的。長城凝聚了我國古代勞動(dòng)人民的鮮血和汗水。
長城越群山，經(jīng)絕壁，穿荒原，橫瀚海，起伏在崇山峻嶺之巔，黃河彼岸和渤海之濱。古今中外，凡到過長城的人無不驚嘆它的雄偉氣勢、宏偉規(guī)模。長城猶如巍峨豐碑，屹立在地球上，屹立在世界人民心中。
萬里長城，氣勢磅礴，雄偉壯麗，是中華民族的縮影，也是中華民族文明的象征，是人類歷史上獨(dú)一無二、舉世無雙的!
