there is only so much land on the earth, and so what we can do with it is limited. some people believe that human needs for farmland, housing and industry should come first, while others believe that some land should be set aside for endangered animals. i am of the opinion that we should reserve some land for the worlds animals for the following reasons.
first, mankinds need for land is constantly growing. if the demand is not checked in some way, humans will eventually develop all of the earths available land. at that time, mankind will have no more room to grow, and all the wild animals will have disappeared, as well as other valuable resources. second, humans are able to innovate and can use the land that they already possess in more efficient ways. animals are unable to do this. once their land is taken away from them they will die. third and last, endangered animals are an important part of the biodiversity of our planet. if they disappear, we cannot predict what the effect will be. therefore, we should treat such animals as a valuable resource to be protected.
to sum up, the worlds endangered animals are an important resource and we should protect them by setting aside some land for them. although mankinds need for land continues to grow, people are intelligent and inventive enough to put the land they have to better use. in this way, we can have enough land for farming, housing and industry, and preserve the biodiversity of the planet at the same time.

Some people think that human needs for farmland, housing, and industry are more important that saving land for endangered animals. Do you agree or disagree with this point of view? Why or why not? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. In the past, there have been many endangered animals. Now they are extinct. Does it matter? Has our environment been affected by their absence? Has the quality of our own life been changed? The answer to these questions is “Yes.” Yes. It does matter if we destroy an endangered species habitat to develop more farmland, housing or industrial parks.
There is a delicate balance of nature. If one small part is removed, it will effect all the other parts. For example, if certain trees are cut down, bats will have no place to roost. If they cannot roost, they cannot breed. If there are no bats, there will be no animal, or bird to eat certain insects that plague our crops. Yes. Our environment has been affected by the absence of certain animals. Certain flowers are pollinated by butterflies, which migrate from Canada to Mexico. Some of the breeding grounds of these butterflies were destroyed. Now these flowers are disappearing from certain areas. We will no longer be able to enjoy their beauty. Yes. The quality of our life has been changed America used to be covered with giant trees. Now we have to visit them in one small park. Rain forests around the world are being cut down to make room for humans. We will never be able to see or study this fragile ecosystem. I would encourage us humans to look for other alternatives for our farmlands, housing, and industries. We have alternatives; the animals do not.
Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly。For example, with the developmet of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have bee narrowcr and narrower。Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis。
At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat。 In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty。There fore, measures of the following should be taken:pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves。
Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved。

Dolphin is my favourite animal.
It is one of the most precious animals. Their bodies are very long, about one zhang. Dolphins live in the sea. They live on fish, shrimps and so on.
Dolphins are very friendly and peaceful. They never attack people. Instead, they have saved many people in danger in the past years. How helpful the dolphins are!
Dolphins are very clever. People often train them so that they can give a dolphin show which brings people a lot of happiness and joy.
Unluckily, the number of dolphins is getting smaller and smaller. Because of water pollution, there is less and less space for dolphins. Many people make money by hunting dolphins. If we don’t protect them, maybe we’ll lose our good friends one day. As a student, I hope more and more people should take actions to protect dolphins.

It is suggested that people have been aware of the issue--lack of preservation for endangered spieces, animals and plants, but as you see , they placed little efforts to cope with the problem.despite the versatility and intricacy of instruments , I would pore over some of the most striking ones and offer alternatives afterwards.
One of the major reasons , causing peoples inocence of protecting animals, is that the government did not function well as an educator, arosing peoples initiative in shielding wild animals, which led to the consequence that people do not know their responsibility to prevent animals from dangers, and specific knowledge in guarding them. what is equally important as the reason mentioned above is that media did not meet our satisfaction to inform the mass of the emergency which is crutial in arousing peoples conciousness to keep animals safe.
In spite of the serious problem, measure leading to profound improvement still can be taken. owning to the fact that funds are insufficient in some developing countries, developed countries or international organizations should shoulder more burden -- finacing them in order to capacitate them to acpolish the protection of animals. at the same time, education in telling people the way to make animals harboured ought to be focused on, thus resulting in peoples better awareness in the camouflage of our planets cutest creatures.
It is belived by me that if correct actions are taken to preserve animals, any kind of them will be far away from extinction forever.

There has been a long time for my family not to go out for the activity, because my father is busy all the time. But last week, my father finally finished his project, so that he could take a rest for some time.
My father advised us to go to the zoo, I was so excited, because I hadn’t seen many animals in my life. In the zoo, there were so many people, it was so lively. I saw the monkey, the giraffe and so on. I saw these animals in the TV usually, but I saw them in front of me that day.
The peacock impressed me so much, it looked homely when it laid down the ground, but when it stood up and opened the wings, it was so gorgeous. People said peacock was proud, indeed, it would not please people. I had a good time in the zoo.

Snakes are cold-blooded animals. In winter they hibernatein holes which are narrow enough only to hold the snakes bodies. The snakes can sleep through a whole winter without eating and moving. They can not feel any pain. The hibernation period lasts about five months. When spring comes, the snakes come out and begin their normal life.
Snakes can take many things as food, such as mice, sparrows, frogs, birds eggs, pests and so on. People sometimes can see a snake eat a sparrow. First it moves close to the sparrow, then it puts out its tongue and brings the sparrow into its mouth and swallows it, which makes a lump in the snakes body. After some time the lump disappears.
As snakes are dreadful-looking, people are afraid of them. Many people drive them away whenever they see snakes. But in Chinese fairy tales, snakes are by no means bad. They seem to have human feelings. They can change into pretty girls. People like and respect them. The most well-known is the story about the White Snake and the Blue Snake.
In fact, snakes are not as dreadful as they look. They can help us to kill mice and pests. They can provide us with delicious meat. Their blood is a good drink. Poisonous snakes a

As human beings, we should bear the responsibility of protecting animals, as they are a vital part of our world. In recent years, many species of animals have been facing extinction due to various reasons including habitat loss, illegal hunting, and climate change. It is our duty to take action and help protect these animals and their habitats.
Firstly, we should increase our awareness of the importance of animal protection. We should educate ourselves and others about the value of biodiversity and the harm caused by human activities such as deforestation, pollution and poaching. By learning about these issues, we can begin to understand the negative effects they have on animals and the environment. Thus, we should decrease the demand for products that come from endangered animals, such as ivory, turtle shells and fur.
Secondly, we need to improve the enforcement of laws and regulations to protect animals. Governments should strengthen the implementation of policies aimed at halting illegal hunting and trading of endangered wildlife. In addition, serious penalties should be imposed on those found guilty of violating these laws.
Thirdly, we should protect and restore habitats for wildlife. Deforestation, soil erosion, and other human actions have led to habitat destruction and degradation, which has resulted in the loss of animal habitat. We need to curb these activities by creating more reserves, national parks, and conserving existing wildlife areas. We can also work to restore degraded ecosystems through conservation and restoration efforts.
Fourthly, we can help wild animals directly by participating in conservation projects or through donations to organizations that work to protect endangered animals. We should also work to reduce our own ecological footprint by cutting down on unnecessary consumption, recycling and reducing waste, and adopting more sustainable practices in our daily lives.
Finally, we need to promote awareness of animal welfare issues and encourage people to be more compassionate towards animals. Animals can feel pain and suffer just like humans do, and it is our responsibility to ensure that they are not subjected to cruel treatment or abuse.
In conclusion, protecting animals is an essential part of our role as caretakers of this planet. By increasing our knowledge of animal conservation, supporting legislation, protecting habitats, participating in conservation projects, and promoting compassionate behavior towards animals, we can help to ensure that these creatures remain on our planet for generations to come.
