As we all know , animals are man's friends.Nowadays with the development of industry ,a lot of animals are in danger of extinction. We should protect animals so that we can live in a better environment .
To protect them ,our government should forbid people to kill them , and for most of us ,we can plant more trees and call for protecting anmimal's habitats.
Only if we protect animals well can we have a bright future!

There is no denying the fact that keeping pets is a hotly debated topic today. Some people claim that keeping pets is a good thing to do. They believe that pets, like cats and dogs, can help relieve the loneliness suffered by senior citizens and other social members who are confined to their homes for this reason or that. They also argue that keeping pets helps mankind understand animals' world and develop positive feelings toward them.
有一個不可否認的事實，即養(yǎng)寵物是當(dāng)今一個被熱烈討論的話題。有的人認為養(yǎng)寵物是一件好事。他們認為寵物，比如貓和狗，有助于緩解年長者和那些由于這樣那樣的家庭原因限制的社會成員的孤獨感。他們還認為，養(yǎng)寵物有助于人類了解動物世界，培養(yǎng)對它們的積極態(tài)度。
Others, however, hold the opposite view. They regard keeping pets as a useless but harmful thing to do. Firstly, pets can transmit diseases. Secondly, the noises and dung of pets are sources of pollution. Last but not least, as many rare birds and animals are kept as pets, they will surely be hunted on a large scale, which means a threat to the balance of the ecosystem.
然而，其他人持相反觀點。他把養(yǎng)寵物當(dāng)做是無用而且有害的事。首先，寵物可以傳播疾病。其次，噪音和寵物糞便是污染的來源。最后，許多珍禽異獸作為寵物飼養(yǎng)，他們一定會被大規(guī)模獵殺，這意味著威脅到生態(tài)系統(tǒng)的平衡。
Weighing the arguments of both sides, I am inclined to agree with the latter. Anyway, we can lessen our loneliness and express our love toward animals in other ways. And it is my beliefs that only by placing man and other species on an equal basis can us expect to have a lively and colorful world.

In the past, there have been many endangered animals. Now they are extinct. Does it matter? Has our environment been affected by their absence? Has the quality of our own life been changed? There is a delicate balance of nature. If one small part is removed, it will affect all the other parts. For example, if certain trees are cut down, bats will have no place to roost. If they cannot roost, they cannot breed. If there are no bats, there will be no animal, or bird to eat
certain insects that plague our crops.Our environment has been affected by the absence of certain animals. Certain flowers arepollinated by butterflies which migrate from Canada to Mexico. Some of the breeding grounds of these butterflies were destroyed.
Now these flowers are disappearing from certain areas. We will no longer be able to enjoy their beauty.The quality of our life has been changed. America used to be covered with giant trees. Now we have to visit them in one small park. Rainforests around the world are being cut down to make room for humans.
We will never be able to see or study this fragile ecosystem.I would encourage us.

People said peacock was proud, indeed, it would not please people. I had a good time in the zoo.
