Sincc I entered college I have felt a great burden off my mind and I just want to relax. So do my classmates. We enjoy playing cards and are very skillful at it. We seldom work on our lessons unless there is an examination. Then we work under pressure. I know it is not good but what I lack is self control. Mat of us know it is a problem and it is time we did something about it.
As youth we are in the prime of our life. We should make good use of our golden time. The teachers take pains to teach us every day so that we can acquire more knowledge. We should not fail their expectations. I should not rest content with what I have done. Entering college is just a step in the threshold of the palace of knowledge. The road is long. The modern age needs the well educated. The future world is highly competitive. If we idle away our time while young wo shall regret it in vain when we are did.
From now on I will concentrate all my energy on my studies as to qualify myself as a talent in the 21st century. Time and tide wait for no man. I should cherish my time. What about you my friend?

I think the reasons are as follows:First, there exists the unfaisness in distribution. More work does not result in more pay. The tycoons are not hard-working people but profiteers. Some government officials abuse power and make public money their own.Second, the influence of violence and horror films on young people has a negative effect. The films and songs about love and revenge and friendship teach young people to give kiadness for kindness, hatred for hatred and tit for tat.Third, people tend to lose faith and belief. The traditional revolutionaly education has somewhat been abandoned. People talk less about patriotism but more about making money. The money-oriented people are cold and indifferent to each other.There are many social and economical reasons that cause crime rate to rise. The above mentioned are just a few. They are the dark side of human society. By the joint efforts of people both of rank and file we are sure to make a better world in which to live.

On yesterday afternoon,Mrs He left home to go shopping.Halfway down the stairs,she found her way blocked by two men,who were armed with knives and threatened her.They said they would stab her if she made a noise.Then,they forced her to take them to her flat and open the door.
In the flat opposite,a woman heard the noise outside.When she looked out through the window,she discovered that her neighbour was threatened by someone.She immediately called the police station.In answer to the call,a patrol police car arrived at the scene of the crime quickly.Three policemen went inside the flat,others guarded outside the building to prevent anyone from escaping.
The two criminals were arrested.They were taken to the police station with their wrists handcuffed.There they would be questioned and probably charged with robbery.

記得那一次上課，郝老師剛說完上課就笑瞇瞇地在黑板上寫下兩個大字“練習(xí)”，全班同學(xué)都沸騰了，認(rèn)為是大顯身手的好機(jī)會。我想：憑我平時讀過的書，拿個名次絕對是張飛吃豆芽――小菜一碟！
老師剛抄下一道題，教室里立刻鴉雀無聲，只有沙沙的聲音，同學(xué)們用“武器”攻擊這些“堡壘”，有的不會只好“跳”過去。我很快做完了題，一數(shù)只有一道不會做，我興高采烈在交了上去，老師掃射了一遍，會做的全對。同學(xué)們沒有全會的，我與另一個同學(xué)并列第一。
下面是搶答題，同學(xué)們有的.張開了“血盆大口”；有的則胸有成竹端坐著；有的則手忙腳亂的補(bǔ)充“能源”？我屬于第二類人。老師剛報出題目，有的就“怒吼”出答案，唯恐老師“接收”不到；有的則在那兒苦思冥想，做一臉“苦瓜狀”；有的則在翻書？這次，我搶答了三道，排名第二。
然后是歇后語與成語的比賽，我均以絕對優(yōu)勢取得第一與第二。這次上課，我共上光榮榜六次，所以，這次擂主非我莫屬啦！
