我們小學三年級的時候就開始學英語了，不知為什么，我對英語很不感興趣，這次期末考試更是考了個一團槽，幸虧媽媽把我對英語的興趣及時培養(yǎng)了起來。
放暑假時，媽媽自告奮勇地當起了我的英語老師。她給我買了一臺學習機和學英語的光碟，我們每天都抽出大約一小時的`時間來學習英語。媽媽告訴我，學習英語交不難，只要掌握了方法，就會覺得很有趣。通過學習，我覺得媽媽說的很有道理，比如卷筆刀這個單詞，英語是sharpener，共有9個字母組成，死記硬背是肯定不行的，即使背掉了過幾天也會忘掉，如果你知道哪個字母或哪幾個字母發(fā)什么音，就一定不會忘掉了。掌握了方法，一個單詞幾秒種就能背掉。有一天晚上，我一口氣背了6個單詞呢！就在那天晚上，我第一次覺得學習英語并不是一件很難的事情，我也暗暗下定決心一定要把英語學好。
現(xiàn)在我才明白，學習英語其實也是件很快樂的事情。

He taught me so patiently and showed me how interesting study was. Now I love study and I am good at English. I can even deliver a speech in English! My parents are so proud of me and I just find out that is so amazing to be a good child. I feel so lucky I met Mr. Green. Thank you.

Last March, my mother told my father and me that my grandfather would come in April. We were very happy because my grandfather was an interesting old man and he had not visited us since he went to Hong Kong. On April 1 my father and I bought a lot of food from the supermarket and bought a big bunch of flowers home. Then we did some cleaning at home. At night when we were waiting for my grandfather, the bell rang and in came my mother. She smiled to us and said "April fools"!

這周，學校舉行英語周活動。在老師的推薦下，讓我去參加英語歌曲比賽。終于，比賽的日子到了，我走進大禮堂，看見大禮堂里坐著好多人，我的心開始忐忑不安起來，總是想：萬一我唱錯了怎么辦？萬一忘記歌詞怎么辦？萬一……比賽開始了，我們班的俞力銘第一個上場，只見他胸有成竹地唱起來，還加了許多活潑的動作，臺下的觀眾都被深深地吸引了。唱完以后，俞力銘看到我害怕的樣子，說：“別怕，只要你把下面的觀眾當成蘿卜白菜就可以了。”
該輪到我上臺了，我暗暗地為自己“鼓勁”：別慌，我能行，一定能行的'。我挺直了腰桿，大膽地走上臺去，為大家唱起了一首《彩虹歌》，隨著優(yōu)美的歌聲，我慢慢地忘記了緊張，越來越放松，越唱越好。演唱結束了，臺下響起了一陣雷鳴般的掌聲，我的心里甜滋滋的。
經過了這次難忘的英語歌曲比賽，使我深深明白了：無論做什么事，實際上都不像我們想象中的那么難，只要對自己充滿信心，就一定能成功。

I have been to Taipei Zoo about once a year. The zoo is like a hotel for animals. The animals come from many parts of the world. Tigers came from Malaysia.
Penguins came from South America. There are a lot of native animals, anteaters, rattlesnakes, beautiful birds and fish, and so on. I like those native animals best because many of them are our good neighbors.
