我們一提英語學(xué)習(xí)就是：“聽、說、讀、寫”這個(gè)順序。而家長考量自己孩子英語好壞的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，基本上就是：“說！”看孩子能否說得好。那么，如何才能讓孩子更好地說出英語？我認(rèn)為英語學(xué)習(xí)最重要的是態(tài)度。
語言無論什么語種都有基本的通用原則，中國孩子從小講中文經(jīng)過的語音順序是：聽，學(xué)單詞，短句，句子，對話，閱讀……英語學(xué)習(xí)同樣是語言學(xué)習(xí)，如果孩子不是chinese-english的雙語家庭，那么英語的環(huán)境就無法和中文相比。而“說”這個(gè)輸出的能力，就需要家長長期培養(yǎng)。
為了能讓孩子“輸出”即說出英語，聽、讀要處于優(yōu)先地位。這是英語教育和學(xué)習(xí)中家長和孩子應(yīng)該具備的第一個(gè)態(tài)度。
在幼兒時(shí)期，家長可以用玩、唱的形式去培養(yǎng)孩子學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣。越小的'孩子，越需要形式活潑和輕松的形式。chants, rhythm, songs, poems都是很好的形式。在聽的時(shí)候，家長的第二個(gè)態(tài)度是：輕松。歌曲越輕松、熱鬧，孩子就越敢唱、喜歡唱，這是對0~8歲兒童的普適性原則。需要提醒大家的是，如果家長有一定英語基礎(chǔ)，可以把歌詞給孩子念出，讓孩子可以準(zhǔn)確發(fā)音。需要注意的是，聽的時(shí)間，要隨著孩子的年齡增長而逐漸加長。
不過，對于上小學(xué)的孩子來說，聽輕松、熱鬧的英語歌曲就效果甚微了，此時(shí)，需要通過有含金量的文學(xué)故事來提升孩子的英語水平。
學(xué)好英語還有很重要的一個(gè)部分，那就是讀。這是我最看重的東西，也是英語學(xué)習(xí)尤其是英語素養(yǎng)能否提升的關(guān)鍵。我認(rèn)為，如果母語學(xué)習(xí)不好，英語就不可能學(xué)好。一個(gè)喜歡中文閱讀的孩子，在閱讀中養(yǎng)成了對文字的思考習(xí)慣，這些習(xí)慣會(huì)自然遷移到英語學(xué)習(xí)中。這是學(xué)好英語的第三個(gè)態(tài)度：閱讀。
