Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six o’clock， we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.
On the first day of the New Year， we visited our relatives. In the afternoon，we went shopping in Jiefang Road. My uncle bought some Jay's CDs. He likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year. On the second and the third days，we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. Today is the 30th year of the year. It is our traditional Chinese New Year, the eve of the Spring Festival. According to tradition, every day on this day, people must travel back home from the field, get together and eat a hot and noisy reunion dinner. Lo and behold, my father and mother and I drove three hours in the car, and returned home to the fairy house.
At the entrance to the village, I saw red in the distance: red couplets on every door and red lanterns hung from every door. The people who come and go in red are talking and laughing, choosing new years in the market and buying fireworks and firecrackers.
When we got to my grandmother's house, relatives were waiting there. The year disappeared, everybody to ask warm, have endless words. My brother and I have not played together for a long time. Now we are together. Everyone is very excited.
