寫法指要
1）本文記敘了作者兒時(shí)的一件小事。事情雖小，卻令作者回味無窮，每每憶起總有一種甜美的（pleasant）感受，好像做著香甜的夢（sweet dream）。這樣敘述會(huì)給讀者留下深刻的印象。由此看來，寫記敘文不要面面俱到，要從眾多素材中擷取一件最有代表性的事例敘述即可。2）作者在文中使用了三種修辭格：（1）擬人（personification）：“the soft masses of waving grass，and the drowsy，balmy air all sent their invitation for me to rest．”（那起伏的嫩軟青草，那催人入睡的芬芳的氣息都在熱烈邀請我停下來休息。）；（2）明喻（simile）：“l(fā)ike a sweet dream”（像做著香甜的夢）；（3）隱喻（metaphor）：“followed my thirst for the toy”（渴望得到那件玩具）。這樣，全文讀來饒有風(fēng)趣。

There are the familiar risks of unsafe sex and illegal drugs. No different from home, you say? Traveling students and their parents often dont realize how cultural and legal differences can enhance these risk factors. Simply put, what is safe or tolerated behavior in the United States can be interpreted quite differently in a foreign country.
In a strange place with new rules, even responsible teenagers may occasionally lose their heads and take chances that they wouldnt normally take, like traveling unaccompanied to a strange country, not telling anyone where they are, or buying or selling on the black market. As a result, young travelers can easily find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time.

作為英語課代表的我卻是個(gè)“英語半盲”，為了使我課代表的光輝形象不受影響，我開始跟我的腦袋較勁兒，逼著自己去做這些永無止境的題目。我這不也是身不由己么。因?yàn)槊看斡⒄Z一下課，老師總會(huì)留下一連串的讀讀.背背.寫寫的玩意兒，然后“拂袖而去”，留下我一個(gè)人望著成堆的作業(yè)“獨(dú)愴然而涕下”。有時(shí)，英語老師還會(huì)搞偷襲，嚇得我心跳加快，兩腿發(fā)軟，腦子里空空如也，再也扯不出半個(gè)字出來。哎，我可被英語給害苦了。
