          I have to admit that my life has undergone big changes in recent years, since I was enrolled in distance learning.

          I used to relax myself when I went back home after work. Most of the time I would sit in sofa watching TV, and sometimes I spent an evening with my friends, either dining out in the restaurant or singing in KTV or visiting a teahouse.

          However, I feel very much depressed the end of the first semester of my college year. I failed in two of my five courses. I realized I could no long waste my time. I made a study plan and followed it very strictly. Now I usually spend my evening time watching courseware or doing homework. Although from time to time I feel very tired after work, I continue my plan. I believe my efforts will pay in the long run.

          如何提高英語聽力水平

          第一點.

          關(guān)于聽力基本功的認識問題我建議大家去買一本鐘道隆編的《逆向法巧學英語》一書仔細看看,里面很多道理也說的很清楚了.我這里只想以我的親身體驗 "斬釘截鐵"的告訴大家:開始 "真正"練習聽力的時候(我這里所提到的 "真正" 不是指那些考試技巧,而是發(fā)自內(nèi)心的想要掌握,運用,享受英語的源動力),千萬不可操之過急,一開始就去聽那些原版的標準速度的聽力資料,一方面這樣的方法極不科學;另一方面也會給自己剛剛培養(yǎng)起來的自信心帶來巨大的重創(chuàng).十有八九(也可以說是所有的人)都會很快放棄的.我自己當初也是這樣,感覺簡直是在聽天書,十幾分鐘的錄音下來能夠把Topic聽準確已經(jīng)是很不錯了,當中的細節(jié)部分根本沒有時間反應(yīng)就一閃而過了.這種過程簡直就是一種 "煎熬". 當然也有少數(shù)意志力驚人的朋友堅持了下來,但是由于方法的失策,造成自己把大量的`時間精力(有時可以說是青春)投入其中,可是回報卻難以和付出平衡,收效甚微.說到這兒叫我想起以前我們有一位上外的聽力老師講的真人真事:一位研究生深知自己聽力不過關(guān),決心發(fā)奮苦讀.于是他每天早上都堅持聽廣播電臺里的標準英語,這樣一聽就是五年的時間.這種苦行僧似的磨煉并沒有使他的聽力水平真正得以提高.后來我們這位老師在了解了他的情況以后,告訴他之所以到現(xiàn)在他的聽力還未真正突破最主要的原因就是他的基礎(chǔ)沒有打好,總是泛泛而聽,而且總是聽些已經(jīng)有中文背景知識的廣播,就會造成一種錯覺,好象什么都聽懂了,又好象什么也沒聽懂.大意能夠抓住(其實是有背景知識的原故),真正精確到每一句話,每一個單詞卻總是丟三落四的,不能準確的傳情達意.這種沙上建塔的 "辛勞"永遠也不會建成堅固的大廈,而總是在進行建了倒下,倒下了再建的重復(fù)勞動.

          再說第二點.

          從慢速英語入手是真正科學的聽力突破方法.而且在我自己的實踐過程中摸索出一些聽力帶動口語,鍛煉口譯的好方法 一.高考聽力資料的現(xiàn)狀

          復(fù)習資料的不良, 會導(dǎo)致復(fù)習的束手無策和低效。 針對高考聽力,市面上鮮有針對性強,受到大家廣泛認可的復(fù)習資料, 多是模仿真題而成的模擬題.。學校內(nèi)用的聽力資料,也多是如此。此類模擬題的特點是多為套題。以廣東省為例,一套題中包含六段材料,主題各不相同。此種設(shè)置,可供復(fù)習階段的后期使用,維持水平,查缺補漏。 而對復(fù)習階段的初期中期這種設(shè)置就不甚理想。

          二.如何看待模擬題

          根據(jù)考試內(nèi)容以日常交際場景為主的特點,理想的復(fù)習模式是,將考試中涉及的常見場景逐一列出,之后針對每個場景做大量練習,個個擊破。但是市面上鮮有這樣的將場景進行分類并配有相應(yīng)詞匯解釋,句型補充,考點分析的高考聽力資料。有些雅思的復(fù)習資料采用了這種的設(shè)置,但是其材料的長度,播放速度,詞匯范圍等又和高考有差異,用來不是十分的理想。而模擬題,在長度,播放速度,單詞范圍,及場景選擇上都有保證。所以它還是我們首先要重視的復(fù)習資料,只是它的排列太散亂,不利初期階段進行的有針對性的復(fù)習。

          三.如何利用模擬題

          針對模擬題排列散亂的缺點,我們可以自己作整理工作,分門別類,多遍精聽,分析特點。以校內(nèi)的聽力練習為例,據(jù)了解校內(nèi)的聽力練習多為套題,多是聽一次,聽完對過答案后,學生基本就對其置之不理了。這種做法其實是一種資源浪費,我們還應(yīng)該進一步的做以下的工作:

          1. 整理工作。將聽過的場景分門別類,合并同類項。比方,你聽過了10套題,60段材料,其中一定有場景會重復(fù)出現(xiàn)?蓪⑾嗤膱鼍胺诺揭黄,進行同類聽。

          2. 詞匯工作。在同類聽的過程中,將每個場景中的常見詞匯整理出來,建立一個聽力的場景詞匯表。并且要查找出自己的生詞,生詞是因人而異的,一定要自己去查找,并且是從音的角度,有些同學,能用眼睛認出一個詞,但用耳朵就不行。

          3.信息點工作。在同類聽的過程中,要將信息點整理出來,因為考點就含在信息點里。一段材料,可能會出現(xiàn)十幾個信息點,但只拿出3個(選擇題)或5個(聽取信息題)作為考點。可以將同一場景下每段材料的信息點都排列出來,并進行分析,了解哪些信息點容易被當作考點。這樣在聽音的過程中,才能變被動為主動,積極聽音。
