　　I have been through the depths of poverty and sickness. When people ask me what has kept me going through the troubles that come to all of us, I always reply：＂I stood yesterday. I can stand today. And I will not permit myself to think about what might happen tomorrow.＂

　　I have known want and struggle and anxiety and despair. I have always had to work beyond the limit of my strength. As I look back upon my life, I see it as a battlefield strewn3）with the wrecks of dead dreams and broken hopes and shattered illusions-a battle in which I always fought with the odds tremendously4）against me, and which has left me scarred and bruised5）and maimed6）and old before my time. Yet I have no pity for myself；no tears to shed over the past and gone sorrows；no envy for the women who have been spared all I have gone through. For I have lived. They only existed. I have drunk the cup of life down to its very dregs7）. They have only sipped the bubbles on top of it. I know things they will never know. I see things to which they are blind. It is only the women whose eyes have been washed clear with tears who get the broad vision that makes them little sisters to all the world. I have learned in the great University of Hard Knocks a philosophy that no woman who has had an easy life ever acquires. I have learned to live each day as it comes and not to borrow trouble by dreading the morrow8）. It is the dark menace of the future that makes cowards of us. I put that dread from me because experience has taught me that when the time comes that I so fear, the strength and wisdom to meet it will be given me. Little annoyances9）no longer have the power to affect me. After you have seen your whole edifice10）of happiness topple11）and crash in ruins about you, it never matters to you again that a servant forgets to put the doilies12）under the finger bowls13）, or the cook spills 14）the soup. I have learned not to expect too much of people, and so I can still get happiness out of the friend who isn＇t quite true to me or the acquaintance15）who gossips16）. Above all, I have acquired a sense of humour, because there were so many things over which I had either to cry or laugh. And when a woman can joke over her troubles instead of having hysterics17）, nothing can ever hurt her much again.

　　I do not regret the hardships I have known, because through them I have touched life at every point I have lived. And it was worth the price I had to pay.

However, we have still faced up to many chanllenges. as one of the developing countries in asian countries,the ecnomic crisis have some effect on our motherland.at the same time we still have problems on food,medicare,welfare,relgion and so on. 　　As we all know, the earth is a planet almost covered by water,and it is water made every thing on the earth lively．Water is also one of the important part of our environment．Though,is there really so much water for us to clean,to produce many things,to play with？how much water are there on the earth then？

　　Most of the water is in the oceans or locked away as ice．The largest volumes of fresh water are stored underground as groundwater,imagine there is only one barrel of water in the world,then there is only a spoon of it on the land,and the water we can use is only a drop of it．Now I have to remind all of you here that the single drop of water is never as Clean as before,it has been polluted severely by our human beings．

　　There is a very beautiful river in Paris．It is the Seine,it runs across the City,people drink coffee, chat on the bank in the day,at night,they enjoy the beautiful scenery in the boat,songs from the river fly into the Sky made the river more attractive, the Seine is a famous symbol of France；on the west coast of pacific ocean there lies the modern City Shanghai,anot ther river which used to be a very important transportation route runs through the center of the city,people respected and regard it as＂mother＂．It is the＂suzhou river,but l believe that few of you would sit beside it,people will be scattered by the terrible smell of water when walk by．I have to say it is extremely dirty! And we all know that a lot of river．Who is the devil？I can＇t help asking．

　　Many human activities and their by-products have the potential to pollute water. Please have a look along the banks of the river, large and small industrial enterprises discharge dirty water, tons of garbage were thrown into the river, the water contained so much that it can＇t clean itself. Compared with the dramatic development in many sides of Shanghai, the suzhou river has become a black point of the appearance of city. Fortunately, the government has control the situation now, we are happy to see some parts of the river has become clean again, and we even can find fish sometime. The unique earth is the only planet full of lives, the water is just like the blood in the active body, protecting water is saving ourselves. Not to waste a single drop of water, otherwise, the only drop of water we could keep in the future would be our tear! My dear friends, mankind still faces a great difficulty in solving the problems of the environment and development, and there is a grand task to perform and along way to go. The middle school students in China will always cooperate with the young people of the world to protect the environment. The future is ours to build!

　　I feel so happy to have the chance to make a speech. The title of my speech is Protect the Environment, Protect Ourselves. I hope you will like it. Everybody knows waste paper and used coke cans are discarded everywhere. You might have seen plastic bags flying in the sky and getting caught in the trees when the wind blows or maybe you have seen old cans floating in the rivers and polluting the water. Our environment is the place in which we live, but it is being ruined by us. There is a story about house and trees. It is said that a man’s house was surrounded by a lot of trees. Though the wind was strong, that man could have a good rest under the trees. How comfortable the life was! One day, that man wanted to enlarge his house, so he cut down all the trees. Then the autumn came without the protection. The strong wind blew the roof of the house into the sky. The whole house was gone with the wind. What a pity! But that’s the price people have to pay for destroying in the ecology balance. People shouldn’t be short-sighted. Protecting the environment is everyone’s task. As you know, there are four kinds of pollution. They are air pollution, water pollution, waste pollution and noise pollution. But what can we do to solve the pollution？I think, firstly, we can make cars that don’t pollute the environment. We can ask companies to use modern clean technology. In some big cities, we can limit the number of cars. Secondly, we can try to use less water and make sure that we do not pollute the water. We can tell factories that they are not allowed to pour waste water into the lakes and rivers. Thirdly, we should not throw rubbish in parks and cities. We can pick up rubbish if we see it. We can put more rubbish bins in our parks and cities. Fourthly, we can live far from the noise and make the laws to limit the noise.

　　The air, water and the whole atmosphere directly influenced our lives, such as the air, people may cough and it will lead to cancer. So we must try our best to keep the world clean and tidy. To reach it, I want to put forward three points to everybody---Point 1：don’t spit and liter；Point 2：don’t draw on the wall；Point 3：clean the streets every day. In order to make the environment clean, let’s join our hands together to make the world better.

　　英語學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)是學(xué)生在接受相應(yīng)學(xué)段英語課程教育的過程中，逐步形成和提升的適應(yīng)個(gè)人終身發(fā)展和社會(huì)發(fā)展需要的必備品格和關(guān)鍵能力，綜合表現(xiàn)為四大素養(yǎng)，由語言能力、文化品格、思維品質(zhì)和學(xué)習(xí)能力組成。就其關(guān)系而言，語言能力是基礎(chǔ)要素，文化品格是價(jià)值取向，思維品質(zhì)是心智表征，學(xué)習(xí)能力是發(fā)展條件。英語學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)涵蓋了知識(shí)、能力和態(tài)度，四大核心素養(yǎng)相互滲透，融合互動(dòng)，協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展，是所有學(xué)生應(yīng)具有的、學(xué)以致用的基礎(chǔ)性綜合素養(yǎng)。

　　為了更好提高落實(shí)新課標(biāo)，提高學(xué)生的核心素養(yǎng)，我結(jié)合核心素養(yǎng)的四個(gè)方面談一下自己的體會(huì)和建議。

　　一、探究課程內(nèi)容，提升語言能力

　　語言能力是指在社會(huì)情境中，以聽、說、讀、看、寫等方式理解和表達(dá)意義、意圖和情感態(tài)度的能力。英語語言能力構(gòu)成英語學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)的基礎(chǔ)，是學(xué)生發(fā)展文化品格、思維品質(zhì)和學(xué)習(xí)能力的依托。英語語言能力的提高有助于學(xué)生拓寬文化視野，豐富思維方式，在全球化背景下開展跨文化交流。

　　教師要深入研讀語篇，把握教學(xué)核心內(nèi)容。研讀語篇就是讀者對(duì)語篇的主題、內(nèi)容、文體結(jié)構(gòu)、語言特點(diǎn)、作者觀點(diǎn)等做深入的解讀。教師要積極研究如何在教學(xué)中落實(shí)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)的目標(biāo)，探索有效的教與學(xué)的方式，努力實(shí)踐以主題意義為引領(lǐng)的英語學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)觀，實(shí)施深度教學(xué)。教師必須深入研究課程內(nèi)容，提煉重點(diǎn)，設(shè)計(jì)有效的教學(xué)活動(dòng)，通過聽說讀寫訓(xùn)練，提高學(xué)生的語言能力。

　　二、發(fā)掘優(yōu)秀文化思想，培養(yǎng)文化品格

　　文化品格是指對(duì)中外文化的理解和對(duì)優(yōu)秀文化的認(rèn)同，是學(xué)生在全球化背景下表現(xiàn)出的文化意識(shí)、人文修養(yǎng)和行為取向。文化品格體現(xiàn)英語學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)的價(jià)值取向。文化品格的`培育有助于學(xué)生樹立世界眼光，增強(qiáng)國家認(rèn)同感和家國情懷，學(xué)會(huì)做人做事，成長為有文化修養(yǎng)和社會(huì)責(zé)任感的人。

　　落實(shí)立德樹人根本任務(wù)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生英語學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)。教師應(yīng)當(dāng)充分把握教材的編寫理念、設(shè)計(jì)思路應(yīng)突出英語學(xué)科的育人價(jià)值，有機(jī)融入社會(huì)主義核心價(jià)值觀，將立德樹人的根本任務(wù)落到實(shí)處。要緊密圍繞、依據(jù)學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)來確立教材內(nèi)容，無論是語篇和主題的選擇還是相應(yīng)的教學(xué)活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)，都要體現(xiàn)對(duì)學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)的培養(yǎng)價(jià)值，有利于學(xué)生發(fā)展語言能力，形成良好的文化品格和思維品質(zhì)，學(xué)會(huì)學(xué)習(xí)，樹立正確的價(jià)值觀和審美觀，提高學(xué)生的文化品格。

　　三、創(chuàng)設(shè)豐富多彩活動(dòng)，促進(jìn)思維品質(zhì)升華

　　思維品質(zhì)指人的思維個(gè)性特征，反映其在思維的邏輯性、批判性、創(chuàng)造性等方面所表現(xiàn)的能力和水平。思維品質(zhì)體現(xiàn)英語學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)的心智發(fā)展。思維品質(zhì)的發(fā)展有助于提升學(xué)生分析問題和解決問題的能力，從跨文化的視角觀察和認(rèn)識(shí)世界，對(duì)事物作出正確的價(jià)值判斷，促進(jìn)學(xué)生的深度學(xué)習(xí)。

　　具體而言，學(xué)習(xí)理解類活動(dòng)主要指基于語篇的學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)。以解決問題為目的，鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生從語篇中獲得新知，通過梳理、概括、整合信息，建立信息間的關(guān)聯(lián)，形成新的知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)，感知并理解語言所表達(dá)的意義和語篇所承載的文化價(jià)值取向。遷移創(chuàng)新類活動(dòng)主要指超越語篇的學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)。通過自主、合作、探究的學(xué)習(xí)方式，綜合運(yùn)用語言技能，進(jìn)行多元思維，創(chuàng)造性地解決陌生情境中的問題。英語學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)的設(shè)計(jì)應(yīng)注意.情境創(chuàng)設(shè)要盡量真實(shí)，注意與學(xué)生已有的知識(shí)和經(jīng)驗(yàn)建立緊密聯(lián)系，力求直接、簡潔、有效。教師要善于利用多種工具和手段，思維導(dǎo)圖或信息結(jié)構(gòu)圖，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過自主與合作相結(jié)合的方式，完成對(duì)信息的獲取與梳理、概括與整合、內(nèi)化與運(yùn)用，教會(huì)學(xué)生在零散的信息和新舊知識(shí)之間建立關(guān)聯(lián)，歸納和提煉基于主題的新知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)。

　　四、分組合作教學(xué)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)習(xí)能力

　　學(xué)習(xí)能力指學(xué)生積極運(yùn)用和主動(dòng)調(diào)適英語學(xué)習(xí)策略、拓寬英語學(xué)習(xí)渠道、努力提升英語學(xué)習(xí)效率的意識(shí)和能力。學(xué)習(xí)能力構(gòu)成英語學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)發(fā)展的必要條件。學(xué)習(xí)能力的形成有助于學(xué)生做好英語學(xué)習(xí)的自我管理，養(yǎng)成良好的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣，拓寬學(xué)習(xí)渠道，提高學(xué)習(xí)效率。

But there is also bad influence.Some of the young teenagers are addicted to computer games，and some even play games all night.Because of lacking in sleep，those students can not focus on in the class .As a result，they may fail in the exam.When they realize it is wrong to spend too much time playing games，it’s already too late.

　　I have remembered such a piece of news .An excellent student flunked（考試不及格）because he could not concentrate on his study for being too indulged in computer games.He spent nearly all the money on games，which was earned by his father＇s selling blood.When his father knelt down to beg him to return to school，he was too numb to show any regret. The most serious harm of computer games come from their contents，which affects teenagers＇mental health.Many games involve violence，such as fighting and killing.When they enjoy the pleasure of success，a violent turn of mind is developed and rooted in them，which may induce future violent behaviour in their life. So when computers＇entertaining function is highly spoken of，such a problem does deserve our serious concern. In addition，long time＇s working before computer also does harm to health.The radiation from the computer can arose many uncomfortable feelings.，like a headache，poor eyesight.

　　At last，people who are fond of making friends on line should also be careful.Many convicts use Internet as a way to cheat. Although it has many disadvantages，Internet has become an indispensable part of people＇s life in recent years.In my point of view，it’s wrong to blame Internet itself，it’s all depend on the way we use it.
