When you're leaving the hotel will you look into a mirror and adjust your clothes in front of it. But if it were a black mirror what could we get? With technology developing at a rocket speed, the black mirror is everywhere, on the screens of our cellphones, our computers and our televisions. In our daily life, we are always facing black mirrors. However, we can hardly see ourselves in it. Perhaps sometimes we can, but only as a colourless face. Technology has brought great convenience of communication for information but at the same time, it has webbed our thought.
Several years ago, an article named "Is Google making us stupid" got quite popular on the Internet. At that time, I thought it was just alarmism but now I find it much worse because technology is not just making us stupid but also weakening our independent thought. About half year ago, I was invited to judge a debate competition. When I arrived at the competition room, I noticed it was an old and classic topic, so I was expecting those players to give me some new and special ideas. Unfortunately, when the game continued, I found all the viewpoints and examples they used were totally the same as the previous competition. The only fun during the competition was to predict what they would say. As far as I was concerned, they were not making a debate but replaying a video. Obviously, they just spoke for the black mirror.
Debate was born as an area that we use our own thought to defend our opinion. However due to high technology, all these "My opinion is" in the competition are actually "The opinion I have found is". That is , really, a tragedy because all human dignity lies in thought which has been weakened by convenient technology.
Truth to be told, debate is not the only example. In every field, we can get whatever information or opinions we want from the almighty black mirror. As a consequence, how to restructure human thought has become not only important but also necessary in today's technologically advanced world. And the answer is humanism which stands for human independent special mind. Just as humanism freed people's thought from the force of religion in the Renaissance, I'm waiting in the hope that it can rescue the ideology trapped in high technology. Humanism is a Lodestar guiding us to the era that anyone can form their own opinion about anything but not just speak the words from the Internet.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not an anti-technologist but I do care about those disadvantages that technology brings to our present life. With the laundry machine, we don't know how to hand wash clothes clean. With electronic address books, we can even hardly remember our girlfriends or boyfriends' phone numbers. And now with a convenient way to get opinion, we seldom think with our own mind. If so, human is only a reed, the feeblest thing in nature. So follow the spirit of humanism, have an independent mind, so that we can be colorful in those black mirrors.

In my opinion，finding me-time is important. With the development of the modern society, we students in China have more and more pressure. We have to spare every minute to study very hard and join various kinds of out-of-class training courses to improve ourselves. So we are really in lack of me-time which is helpful to keep ourselves from being over-stressed、tired and worried.
I do not have as much fun as before and I always miss my childhood. Three hours of homework and two piano lessons one day make me have hardly any me-time to relax myself. I was once an active basketball player on my school team. But now, basketball, my best friend, I haven’t touched it for almost two months. Me- time seems to have become a luxury.
Last week, when I heard there was going to be a basketball match between our school and No 1 Middle School, I was so excited that I rushed home and told my parents the news. I asked my father, " Dad, may I play basketball after school ? The coach says I am the best guard in our school. If I join the school basketball team, we are sure to beat No 1 Middle School this time." My father showed his dispproval and said, " Of course you can’t . I’m disappointed at you. Why do you have such a silly idea? Don’t forget to work hard on your schoolwork and piano lessons." In my parents’ points of view, playing basketball is a waste of time.
As far as I’m concerned, the school assignment to the junior school students is too heavy. To grow into healthy and well-rounded adults, we should be allowed to have more me-time for relaxation. The pressure put on our students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally.
My dear teachers, I hope you can assign less homework so we students can enjoy a period of me-time. My dear parents, would you please not follow me and remind me of study all the time? Please trust me that I will do my best. My dear friends, why not stop for a while from your heavy homework and do anything you like? It’s me-time. guangdong is privileged to have such a beautiful landscape, with hundreds of historical sites and places of great interest to local people and foreigners alike. our capital city, guangzhou, is also known as "the city of flowers". everywhere you look you will see flourishing plants and blossoming flowers overflowing with vigor.
the people of guagdong are very friendly to visitors from anywhere. whoever you are and wherever you come from, guangdong people will greet you with the only language---guangdong dialect.

1、單詞、課文是英語最基礎(chǔ)的部分，每個同學(xué)都需要能夠熟練的背誦，背，并不是一個一個字母硬塞入腦袋里，有時一個單詞是由幾個單詞組成的，我比較推薦用音標(biāo)來記單詞，通過每個單詞的音標(biāo)音節(jié)就可以理解快速的背單詞、課文，并且只要你記得這個單詞，即使忘了，再給音標(biāo)一樣能寫出單詞，所以背單詞、課文，只要理解有方法。有時強(qiáng)記也是需要的，那時背單詞、課文對你來說再也不是一件頭疼的事。
2、每天堅持聽磁帶是鍛煉聽力的'最有效的方法。一般的英語試卷，聽力占20%，是很大的分?jǐn)?shù)，所以想考高分的話，聽力必須保證滿分。聽磁帶時要仔細(xì)聽，一個一個單詞的聽，能清楚的聽到每一個單詞組成的句子，如果有含糊不清的，不要只想著跳過，應(yīng)該重復(fù)地聽，直到聽清為止。我們可以在老師上新課前提前預(yù)習(xí)，預(yù)習(xí)新課文并且聽課文磁帶，這樣老師講新課時，你就可以清楚的知道，每一個單詞每個句子在哪里，在講什么，聽課效率肯定會提高很多，尤其對一些在英語方面不是很優(yōu)秀同學(xué)來說，這是很有幫助。
其次就是聽課了，上課時，一定要全身心的投入到課堂中， 老師講的每個語法都要理解并且運(yùn)用得當(dāng)，練習(xí)是對一天學(xué)習(xí)的鞏固，必須要認(rèn)認(rèn)真真寫，不會寫的不要抄，實在想不出來，就去問問同學(xué)，同學(xué)也不會，就去詢問老師，千萬不要只抄一個答案，這是沒有任何意義。下次碰到一樣題型的題還是一樣不會做，所以一定要認(rèn)真聽講，理解每一個語法，不僅要知道答案，要“知其然！知其所以然”。

對于絕大多數(shù)同學(xué)來說，英語始終是心頭大患。我與大家經(jīng)歷相同，從4年級便被扣上了這頂帽子，每一次考試，英語總是給我拖后腿，但在一次次摸索中，我也在不斷進(jìn)步，總結(jié)了一些經(jīng)驗。正所謂“方向不對，努力白費(fèi)”，正確的學(xué)習(xí)方法會使我們的學(xué)習(xí)效率大大提高，從而達(dá)到事半功倍的目的。下面是我總結(jié)的一些學(xué)習(xí)英語的經(jīng)驗，希望可以供同學(xué)們參考。
第一，做好課堂筆記。顧名思義，課堂筆記便是利用課堂時間將老師所講的重點、難點、疑點記下，千萬不可以“手懶”，對于知識零碎的英語來說更是如此，好記性不如爛筆頭。然后是回顧筆記，回顧筆記才是做筆記的重點，建議大家，周末時專門抽出時間回顧一下當(dāng)周所做的筆記，這樣能有效地緩解緊張的心理，可以讓你在下一周的學(xué)習(xí)中得心應(yīng)手。舉個我自己的例子吧，記得有一次英語抽測，我抱著僥幸的心理，沒有做好復(fù)習(xí)工作，所以考試前就開始臨時抱佛腳，結(jié)果到了最后，根本沒有時間復(fù)習(xí)完，考試時慌慌張張，考得一塌糊涂。所以說，做好筆記對于學(xué)生來說十分重要。
第二，整理回顧錯題，對于很多同學(xué)來說，都能做到整理錯題，但重點是我們不僅僅要整理，更要回顧與反思。所謂“好馬不吃回頭草”對我們學(xué)生萬萬不可適用，要想成功擠過中考這座獨(dú)木橋，就必須回顧自己的錯題，也防止再出現(xiàn)類似的失誤。再舉個例子吧，我開始和很多同學(xué)一樣只是糾一下錯，之后就不管了，但是有一次考試，我真記得做過某一題，就是忘了怎么做，結(jié)果不僅沒做出題，心情也糟糕透頂，考試結(jié)果可想而知慘不忍睹，后來我學(xué)著經(jīng)�；仡欏e題本，慢慢地積累，厚積薄發(fā)，考試也不再出現(xiàn)類似的失誤。
第三，要利用零碎的時間。英語是一門需要長期積累的科目，知識點很多，一定要好好利用互聯(lián)網(wǎng)、學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)和其他移動方便的設(shè)備，更不用說書籍和雜志這樣的傳統(tǒng)學(xué)習(xí)資源！你完全可以在課間、排隊、午休等時間記幾個單詞，要養(yǎng)成“天天英語”的習(xí)慣，每天按老師的要求作一篇完形閱讀，堅持天天聽英語。其實學(xué)英語的過程更像是一朵云的形成，是水汽的一點點積累；而不像砌一面墻那樣，把磚堆上去就好。
