Ladies and gentlemen, your honored judges
When you're leaving the hotel will you look into a mirror and adjust your clothes in front of it. But if it were a black mirror what could we get? With technology developing at a rocket speed, the black mirror is everywhere, on the screens of our cellphones, our computers and our televisions. In our daily life, we are always facing black mirrors. However, we can hardly see ourselves in it. Perhaps sometimes we can, but only as a colourless face. Technology has brought great convenience of communication for information but at the same time, it has webbed our thought.
Several years ago, an article named "Is Google making us stupid" got quite popular on the Internet. At that time, I thought it was just alarmism but now I find it much worse because technology is not just making us stupid but also weakening our independent thought. About half year ago, I was invited to judge a debate competition. When I arrived at the competition room, I noticed it was an old and classic topic, so I was expecting those players to give me some new and special ideas. Unfortunately, when the game continued, I found all the viewpoints and examples they used were totally the same as the previous competition. The only fun during the competition was to predict what they would say. As far as I was concerned, they were not making a debate but replaying a video. Obviously, they just spoke for the black mirror.
Debate was born as an area that we use our own thought to defend our opinion. However due to high technology, all these "My opinion is" in the competition are actually "The opinion I have found is". That is , really, a tragedy because all human dignity lies in thought which has been weakened by convenient technology.
Truth to be told, debate is not the only example. In every field, we can get whatever information or opinions we want from the almighty black mirror. As a consequence, how to restructure human thought has become not only important but also necessary in today's technologically advanced world. And the answer is humanism which stands for human independent special mind. Just as humanism freed people's thought from the force of religion in the Renaissance, I'm waiting in the hope that it can rescue the ideology trapped in high technology. Humanism is a Lodestar guiding us to the era that anyone can form their own opinion about anything but not just speak the words from the Internet.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not an anti-technologist but I do care about those disadvantages that technology brings to our present life. With the laundry machine, we don't know how to hand wash clothes clean. With electronic address books, we can even hardly remember our girlfriends or boyfriends' phone numbers. And now with a convenient way to get opinion, we seldom think with our own mind. If so, human is only a reed, the feeblest thing in nature. So follow the spirit of humanism, have an independent mind, so that we can be colorful in those black mirrors.

In my opinion，finding me-time is important. With the development of the modern society, we students in China have more and more pressure. We have to spare every minute to study very hard and join various kinds of out-of-class training courses to improve ourselves. So we are really in lack of me-time which is helpful to keep ourselves from being over-stressed、tired and worried.
I do not have as much fun as before and I always miss my childhood. Three hours of homework and two piano lessons one day make me have hardly any me-time to relax myself. I was once an active basketball player on my school team. But now, basketball, my best friend, I haven’t touched it for almost two months. Me- time seems to have become a luxury.
Last week, when I heard there was going to be a basketball match between our school and No 1 Middle School, I was so excited that I rushed home and told my parents the news. I asked my father, " Dad, may I play basketball after school ? The coach says I am the best guard in our school. If I join the school basketball team, we are sure to beat No 1 Middle School this time." My father showed his dispproval and said, " Of course you can’t . I’m disappointed at you. Why do you have such a silly idea? Don’t forget to work hard on your schoolwork and piano lessons." In my parents’ points of view, playing basketball is a waste of time.
As far as I’m concerned, the school assignment to the junior school students is too heavy. To grow into healthy and well-rounded adults, we should be allowed to have more me-time for relaxation. The pressure put on our students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally.
My dear teachers, I hope you can assign less homework so we students can enjoy a period of me-time. My dear parents, would you please not follow me and remind me of study all the time? Please trust me that I will do my best. My dear friends, why not stop for a while from your heavy homework and do anything you like? It’s me-time. guangdong is privileged to have such a beautiful landscape, with hundreds of historical sites and places of great interest to local people and foreigners alike. our capital city, guangzhou, is also known as "the city of flowers". everywhere you look you will see flourishing plants and blossoming flowers overflowing with vigor.
the people of guagdong are very friendly to visitors from anywhere. whoever you are and wherever you come from, guangdong people will greet you with the only language---guangdong dialect.

2、每天堅(jiān)持聽(tīng)磁帶是鍛煉聽(tīng)力的'最有效的方法。一般的英語(yǔ)試卷，聽(tīng)力占20%，是很大的分?jǐn)?shù)，所以想考高分的話，聽(tīng)力必須保證滿分。聽(tīng)磁帶時(shí)要仔細(xì)聽(tīng)，一個(gè)一個(gè)單詞的聽(tīng)，能清楚的聽(tīng)到每一個(gè)單詞組成的句子，如果有含糊不清的，不要只想著跳過(guò)，應(yīng)該重復(fù)地聽(tīng)，直到聽(tīng)清為止。我們可以在老師上新課前提前預(yù)習(xí)，預(yù)習(xí)新課文并且聽(tīng)課文磁帶，這樣老師講新課時(shí)，你就可以清楚的知道，每一個(gè)單詞每個(gè)句子在哪里，在講什么，聽(tīng)課效率肯定會(huì)提高很多，尤其對(duì)一些在英語(yǔ)方面不是很優(yōu)秀同學(xué)來(lái)說(shuō)，這是很有幫助。

第一，做好課堂筆記。顧名思義，課堂筆記便是利用課堂時(shí)間將老師所講的重點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn)、疑點(diǎn)記下，千萬(wàn)不可以“手懶”，對(duì)于知識(shí)零碎的英語(yǔ)來(lái)說(shuō)更是如此，好記性不如爛筆頭。然后是回顧筆記，回顧筆記才是做筆記的重點(diǎn)，建議大家，周末時(shí)專門抽出時(shí)間回顧一下當(dāng)周所做的筆記，這樣能有效地緩解緊張的心理，可以讓你在下一周的學(xué)習(xí)中得心應(yīng)手。舉個(gè)我自己的例子吧，記得有一次英語(yǔ)抽測(cè)，我抱著僥幸的心理，沒(méi)有做好復(fù)習(xí)工作，所以考試前就開(kāi)始臨時(shí)抱佛腳，結(jié)果到了最后，根本沒(méi)有時(shí)間復(fù)習(xí)完，考試時(shí)慌慌張張，考得一塌糊涂。所以說(shuō)，做好筆記對(duì)于學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)十分重要。
第二，整理回顧錯(cuò)題，對(duì)于很多同學(xué)來(lái)說(shuō)，都能做到整理錯(cuò)題，但重點(diǎn)是我們不僅僅要整理，更要回顧與反思。所謂“好馬不吃回頭草”對(duì)我們學(xué)生萬(wàn)萬(wàn)不可適用，要想成功擠過(guò)中考這座獨(dú)木橋，就必須回顧自己的錯(cuò)題，也防止再出現(xiàn)類似的失誤。再舉個(gè)例子吧，我開(kāi)始和很多同學(xué)一樣只是糾一下錯(cuò)，之后就不管了，但是有一次考試，我真記得做過(guò)某一題，就是忘了怎么做，結(jié)果不僅沒(méi)做出題，心情也糟糕透頂，考試結(jié)果可想而知慘不忍睹，后來(lái)我學(xué)著經(jīng)�；仡欏e(cuò)題本，慢慢地積累，厚積薄發(fā)，考試也不再出現(xiàn)類似的失誤。

雖然我是一名中學(xué)生，但是我喜愛(ài)英語(yǔ)，成績(jī)更是在班里名列前茅。甚至有時(shí)候玩游戲我都玩英語(yǔ)的，雖然有些我不會(huì)念，但慢慢來(lái)，總是能學(xué)會(huì)的。再說(shuō)了，這幾年我一直都是英語(yǔ)課代表，有一些經(jīng)驗(yàn)，我有責(zé)任、有能力為英語(yǔ)老師做好我力所能及的工作。
一個(gè)人最可憐的是無(wú)知，最可悲的是自私，最可敬的是拼搏。不管我競(jìng)選成功與否，我都會(huì)讓自私、無(wú)知與我無(wú)緣。只有那一股子拼勁，為大家，為班級(jí)做事。我在每次的英語(yǔ)考試中都能達(dá)到95分以上，成績(jī)很不錯(cuò)，此外，我有著強(qiáng)烈的責(zé)任心，有豐富的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，可以幫助老師做一些力所能及的事。如果我競(jìng)選成功，我一定會(huì)全心全意地為同學(xué)服務(wù)。每天早上，我會(huì)帶領(lǐng)同學(xué)們進(jìn)行早讀，并把同學(xué)的作業(yè)收齊。
我不僅英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī)好，而且我做的英文海報(bào)和我的英語(yǔ)書寫，也是很厲害的！我在業(yè)余時(shí)間里或假期里，我喜歡看英語(yǔ)報(bào)、讀英文書、唱英文歌……
我從二年級(jí)到五年級(jí)，都是英語(yǔ)課代表，所以我有決心和經(jīng)驗(yàn)來(lái)承擔(dān)英語(yǔ)課代表這個(gè)職責(zé)。雖然我的口語(yǔ)能力還有待提高，但是我會(huì)繼續(xù)努力的！
如果我當(dāng)上了英語(yǔ)課代表，我會(huì)盡力為老師和同學(xué)服務(wù)！
在課上，我會(huì)帶頭積極舉手發(fā)言；課下，如果有同學(xué)來(lái)問(wèn)我不會(huì)的題，我也一定會(huì)耐心爽快地回答。如果遇到了一些難題，我會(huì)組織其他的同學(xué)共同探討，并尋求老師的幫助。正因?yàn)槿绱耍矣行判淖龊靡幻⒄Z(yǔ)科代表。
假如我落選了，我也不會(huì)傷心，因?yàn)槟钦f(shuō)明我還有許多缺點(diǎn)，我將繼續(xù)自我完善，因?yàn)槊恳粋�(gè)失敗都會(huì)提醒我下次努力。俗話說(shuō)“失敗乃成功之母“，我還會(huì)繼續(xù)努力，找出自己的不足并及時(shí)改正，爭(zhēng)取下次能競(jìng)選上。

I am very happy to meet you is my great honor to communicate with you at such a special t of all,please allow me to express my appreciation to you all to listion to me.
I am proud of being a college collegelife is fresh,new teachers, new classmates and new friends. I like the friendship, and their wide knowledge and opening mind. The grand library, school buildings and wide playground attrattde me very college life is better than I expected, I can do anything I like. In the college we can not only learn the professional knowledge,but also develop our comprehensive we can make full use of the period,we can learn many useful des,we should have the active attitude to our life,do a contributionto the egelife is the most precious time in our of us want to become an outstanding man. But there are some students still waste their time. They get together for eating, drinking or playing cards. They're busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. They completely forget their task as college students.
Finally, I hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy person to our country, and make great contributions to the society!
