初中英語演講稿 1
as you slowly open your eyes, look around , notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshness in the air. yes, yes, yes, it’s a new day, it’s a different day, and it’s a bright day! and most importantly, it is a new beginning for your life, a beginning where you are going to make new desicisions, take new actions, make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented level! you know all this is real as long as you are confident, passionate and committed! and you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!
you will no longer fear making new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways, approaching new people, and asking new questions. you will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take. you will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life. you will never succumb to challenges of hardships. you will never waver in your pursuit of excellence. after all,you are the best, and you deserve the best!
as your coach and friend, i can assure you the door to all the best things in the world will open to you, but the key to that door is in your hand. you must do your part, you must faithfully follow the plans you make and take the actions you plan, you must never quit, you must never fear. i know you must do it, you can do it, you will do it, and you will succeed!
now stand firm and tall, make a fist, get excited, and yell it out: i must do it! i can do it! i will do it! i will succeed! i must do it! i can do it! i will do it! i will succeed! i must do it! i can do it! i will do it! i will succeed!

Good afternoon! The topic of my speech is sandstorm.
Sandstorm is a kind of severe weather that occurs more and more frequently in northern China in spring. Although I am only 13 years old, I have experienced it many times.
I think everyone still remembers the sandstorm that happened last month. It swept through 11 provinces and caused great losses to our country.
As you can see from TV, wherever the sandstorm goes, the wind blows yellow sand and dust, and sometimes some big trees are blown down from the middle. Birds lose their homes and children cant find their way home, just like the end of the world.
When the sandstorm happened, our classroom was also full of dust. The poor teacher, though suffering from chalk dust, now has to stay in the dust. Poor classmates, they told me that I was suffocating!
We love the beautiful spring, and we cherish the bright sunshine. However, sandstorms cast a shadow over these. We know that sandstorms are mother natures punishment for our ecological misconduct. To see the blue sky and bright spring again, we must green the mountains and protect the environment. If we start now, it is not too late.
Although this is an arduous task, we must face it bravely, because this is a battle we must win!

A Young Idler,An Old Beggar Almost everyone knows the famous Chinese saying:A young idler,an old beggar.Throughout history,we have seen many cases in which this saying has again and again proved to be true. It goes without saying that the youth is the best time of life, during which one"s mental and physical states are at their peaks.
It takes relatively less time and pains to learn or accept new things in a world full of changes and rapid developments. In addition, one is less likely to be under great pressure from career, family and health problems when young. Therefore,a fresh mind plus enormous energy will ensure success in different aspects of life. Of course,we all know:no pains,no gains. If we don"t make every effort to make good use of the advantages youth brings us,it is impossible to achieve any goals.
As students,we should now try our best to learn all the subjects well so that we can be well prepared for the challenges that we will face in the future.

Attitude The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, thancircumstances, than failures, than successes, than what the other peoplethink, say,or do. It is more important than the appearance, the giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company,a church ,a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day, regarding the attitudewe will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past.
We cannot change the fact that people will act ina certain way.We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one stage we have. And that is ourattitudes. I am convinced that life is ten percent what happens to me ,and ninetypercent how I react to it.And so it is with you. We are in charge of our attitudes.

I really want to live in a world where disability is not the exception, but the norm. I want to live in a world where a 15-year-old girl sitting in her bedroom watching "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" isnt referred to as achieving anything because shes doing it sitting down. I want to live in a world where we dont have such low expectations of disabled people that we are congratulated for getting out of bed and remembering our own names in the morning. I want to live in a world where we value genuine achievement for disabled people, and I want to live in a world where a kid in year 11 in a Melbourne high school is not one bit surprised that his new teacher is a wheelchair user. Disability doesnt make you exceptional, but
questioning what you think you know about it does. Thank you.

Recently, there is a heated debate in oursociety. The college students are the beneficiaries of a rareprivilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinaryplaces. But will we be able to face the challenge and supportourselves against all odds? Will we be able to better the lives ofothers? Will we be able to accept the responsibility of buildingthe future of our country?
The cynics say the college students arethe pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightestdiscomfort. But the cynics are wrong. The college students I seeare eagerly learning about how to live independently. We help eachother clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, andtake part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.
The cynics say we care for nothing otherthan grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. Butagain, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, wecherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth.
Last week, thousands of my fellow studentshad their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for thechildren who suffer from blood cancer.
As college students, we are adolescents atthe critical turning point in our lives. We all face a fundamentalchoice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future,or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellowclassmates.
