　　Good morning ladies and gentlemen,I’m HuangDong from FuJian Province.It’s my pleasure to be here in front of you to introduce myself.I’m a freshman now studying in Materials Science and Engineering and I Just enter the university .

　　About my character, I can’t describe it well, but generally speaking ,I am a hard_working student especially when I do the things I am interested in. And I am optimistic and confident. Sometimes I prefer to stay alone, reading, listening to music, but I am not lonely, In my spare time,I often go shopping with my friends,surf on the Internet and do some sports,such as running,table tennis and roller_skating.

　　I like badminton very much.I even got the 4th place in the badminton Competition in my school,which was a very glorious memory.But now since I’m faced with School and activities,I can’t spend too much time doing sports.But this busy life has also taught me how to balance between study and entertainment.Also I love English very much.I often write compositions to improve my witten ability, but I know my English is not good enough,I still need to make an effort.

　　一位同學(xué)首先介紹自己說：Hello everyone，I’m from river north......

　　“什么？”來自哪里？全場師生都蒙了，這位同學(xué)到底來自哪里？大家都陷入了短暫的思考。哦，對，他來自河北！河北被翻譯成了river north，連英語老師也是頭一次見，今天學(xué)到一個新詞了！全場哄堂大笑！

　　這位同學(xué)剛介紹完，另外一位身材高大的同學(xué)站了起來，他首先介紹了自己叫什么名字，然后說：I’m from broad quiet。 broad quiet？嗯，中國應(yīng)該沒這個省，難道這位同學(xué)說的是我國的某個市？廣安？對，四川省廣安市！不對，我來自遼寧�。∪珗鲇置闪�！broad quiet是遼寧啊，這真是長見識了。

　　接著另外一位同學(xué)也站了起來，身材不高，皮膚黝黑，“I am from lake construct！”，有了前面兩位同學(xué)的介紹，大家這回都有心理準(zhǔn)備了，lake的意思是湖、湖泊的`意思，construct是建造、創(chuàng)立的意思，兩個放在一起意思是“湖泊建造”？這是哪個省呢？“湖建”，終于發(fā)現(xiàn)了，是福建！這個翻譯太有才了，跟福建當(dāng)?shù)乜谝艚Y(jié)合不錯，一般人真猜不出來是什么意思！全場再次爆笑！

　　這就是中國式英語的魅力，我們就是這么韌性，哈哈！其他還有很多省份的翻譯：比如luck woods是吉林，mountain east是山東，upper sea是上海，fold river是浙江，inner guessing ancient是內(nèi)蒙古等等。

　　小地名也有很多，door head valley是北京市門頭溝，west double flag是北京西二旗，哈哈哈！
