whether there’s afterlife, the answer has never been the same. the atheists deny after life, believing that our life is no more than from the cradle to the grave. they may care about their illustrious names after death; they may feel attached to the affection of their offspring, but they never lay their hopes on their afterlife. they may also say that good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil, but they don’t really believe any retribution in their after life.
however, in the religious world or among the superstitious people, the belief in afterlife is very popular. they do not only believe in afterlife, but thousands of reincarnations as well. in the mysterious world, there are the paradise and the hell, the celestial beings and the gods, the buddha and the bodhisattvas.
maybe they really believed it, or maybe they just wanted to make use of people’s veneration, the ancient emperors always declared that they were the real dragons, the sons of god, while the royal ministers claimed to be the reincarnations of various constellations. but can the stars reincarnate?
many people burn incense and kowtow, do good deeds and strive for virtues, not just for the present, but mainly to let god see their sincerity so as to be reborn into a better afterlife, or to achieve the highest enlightenment after several lives of practice. they do believe in afterlife. but ii can’t help asking: suppose there were no afterlife, would you still do good deeds and strive for virtues? and if god does not see what you are doing, would you still be so upright and selfless? if you work, not for serving the public and liberating the others, but just for a better afterlife of your own, isn’t it a little too selfish? comparing with this kind of believers, those who don’t believe in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere and honest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but for other.
you may wonder if i believe in afterlife. my answer is: i know nothing about my previous life, so i dare not make improper comments on afterlife. but i do hope there’s afterlife! because our present life is so short that so many things slip away before our proper understanding. i have so many dreams, so many wishes, so many ambitions, as well as so many regrets and concerns. if there were no afterlife, all of them will remain unrealized!
i’m not contented with the present commonplace life, i’m very much attached to the affections that should have been mine but have been washed away by the hurrying time, and i yearn for the perfection and maturity if i could start all over again. so believe it or not, i’d rather there were afterlife.

Micro-blogging is no longer a strange word. More precisely, it has become part of our life.
As for me, many factors contribute to the widespread of Micro-blogging. First, it is very convenient for people to express their instant feelings at any time. Second, it provides a chance for people to release their inner stress. By revealing their heartfelt emotions on the Micro-blogging, their friends may also know about their conditions and can offer in-time comfort.
However, Micro-blogging can also be potentially dangerous as it may give away people’s privacy and other significant information.
All in all, Micro-blogging provides us comfort and also inevitably some concerns. We should be careful while using it.

There is a wonderful word which expresses the most original motions anddesires among human-beings. With solving any kind of imperfections, our worldhas moved ahead. This is the word “innovation” that we cannot afford tolose.
We chicaned every detail of the innovation. Thousands years before, wecreated fire when we took a stone to knock another one. Since Han Dynasty, fourgreat inventions had been created and it is one of the greatest signs that Chinabecome to the ancient civilized country. And nowadays, thousands of software, products, architectures and public facilities have upgraded more than that about100 years ago. So how did these happen? What will you do if you are notsatisfied with your tools anymore? What will you do if old mode cannot afford todevelop in a company? There is no doubt that we should innovate no matter wherewe are and what we do. Not because of the design itself, but actually for itsintended purpose.
If there was no Apple, everyone could not imagine how to contact otherseasily and enjoy a better Internet surfing.
If there was no Microsoft, perhaps we still worked in a dim office andduplicate some troublesome documents. If there was no Newton, and no theory ofgravity, maybe I will win the Nobel Prize like Newton rather than just standinghere. I have heard that three apple changed the world. The first one seducedEve. The second one awakened Newton. The third one was in the hands of SteveJobs. We sort of think the innovation of the world began with apple. I imaginelots of people want to become another Newton or Jobs right now with just onehand to change the world, right? Have the innovation to follow your heart. Itsomehow already reflects what you truly want to become. Everything else issecondary.
Via questioning, we can start to innovate. Via innovating, we can start tocreate better lives. No innovation, no improvement. No improvement, no no success, no civilization. Now, our time is limited, so don't waste itliving someone else's life! Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown outyour own inner voice! Don't let yourself down! It is the innovation that wecannot afford to lose!

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.
When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us.
The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.
It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.
Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.

Ladies and Gentlemen: My topic is Honesty.
As a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committee for Marco Polo Studies in this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon’stooth. This is a true story.
65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. Heoften visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted oneto keep as a treasure.
In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had toleave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one ofthe teeth from the dragon’s mouth.
He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at havingstolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on hisconscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decidedto put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it tothe Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.
When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported onhis visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I thinkto err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correctone’s error.
Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep anhonest mind in everything we say and do. I would like to say to all of myfriends: Let’s be honest people of good moral character.

When a variety of problems plague the information systems, the critical importance of information security becomes the focus of people's concern. It does deserve the unprecedented emphasis. It is widely accepted that information security, to some extent, outweighs other spheres in the field of information. So the related authorities, enterprises, institutions and organizations place the high priority on it.
Information Security concerns a range of problems- information interception, loss, damage etc. Business and military information leakage will have an devastating impact. For the information owners and monitors, they must drive their efforts to enhance the security protection and maintenance. For example, a strict control over the access to the secret data shouldn't be absent. The network and software provider should take a set of tailored protection measures targeting different computer crimes. The security issues should be also considered at the legislative level, so we are clamoring for a law designed to clamp down on various cyber crimes.

Everybody is afraid of failure, because it means what they do is useless and they waste their energy and time. But people get the wrong idea about failure, in fact, failure is also success. If people want to be successful, they need to take action. Failure at least means people have tried to do, what’s more, people can learn from their unsuccessful experience, so that they can improve their methods. Every failure means the closeness of success, we should take the positive attitude to failure, we can get over it soon and people finally can get the victory. So when we meet the difficulties, don’t be afraid of the bad result, just take action.

Good morning everyone, today is my turn to the speech. Can Money buyHappiness? Can money buy happiness? Different people have different think yes, while others hold the is true that with enough moneyone can buy all the things one wants, and live a life of comfort and ver, it is equally true that lack of money causes great distress. It is acommon view that "money is the root of all evil." The pursuit of money drivesmany people to cheat and steal. In some places there is nothing that cannot bebought with money, resulting in corrupt societies where everybody , money does not necessarily mean happiness. It all depends on howit is used. If we make honest and sensible use of money, it can be astepping-stone to happiness l Although money cannot buy happiness, it can makehappiness possible if it is employed sensibly.
