        野性的呼喚英文讀后感

          《野性的呼喚》,又名《荒野的呼喚》(The Call of the Wild),是美國作家杰克·倫敦創(chuàng)作的中篇小說。

"The call of the wild" the protagonist is adog named buck. It had no worries of life in America south, was a family servant secretly sold to Alaska as a sled dog, after witnessing a sight, it begins to follow the "stick" and "teeth" principle, and graduallybecome a good sled dog. Later, he met aman named Thornton it really like. They go to the eastern treasure hunt, Thornton was killed by indians. In revenge for Thornton, Buck returned to nature.

The story of Buck's image is a symbol of a strong survival wisdom, strong will, tenacious survival strength and agility in the harsh living environment. It came to control the new environment after is not willing to suffer other strong, but efforts to adapt to, continue to struggle, become a new strong, reflects the "survival of the fittest" this rule. Although it is a dog, but if for the rest of us, may not be able to survive in such cruel environment down there, are less likely tobecome strong. So, in reality we should like buck as tenacious, unyielding, don't give up hope, after all, in the future society, we may also experience changes in frustration, turn the world upside down, and if we can have the buck that spirit, it may lead us to success.

          而現(xiàn)在,如果我們遇到一點挫折就被打倒,那么就還不如一條狗,也更不會在將來有大的作為。

Now, if we encounter a little frustration was down, so is also not a dog, nor as large in the future.

          野性的呼喚英文讀后感2

The Call of the Wild is London’s most-read book, and generally considered his best, the most masterpiece of his so-called “early period”。 The story was set in 19th-century Klondike Gold Rush, in which sled dogs were bought at generous prices.

Buck was a domestic dog in Judge Miller’s home and living a comfortable life until he was sold secretly by the poor gardener and became a sled dog. Buck was a Bernard dog weighed one hundred and forty pounds, tall, strong, and hea一vy muscled. He couldn’t accommodate to the harsh condition at first. And he wanted to fight, to escape, to go back to his cozy home, but in vain.

The man in red taught him the law of stick and club—one must first adjust himself to his surroundings and learn the rules, and only after that he can do what he wants to do. The club of the man in red called back Buck’s nature as a dog.

When he firstly served for Fran?ois and Perrault, two couriers, he showed his superior ability to adapt to the environment and his smartness to learn everything he wanted to learn. Curly’s death astonished him and taught him to be cautious. And before he had recovered from the shock caused by the tragic passing of Curly, he was harnessed as a sled dog and step by step wanted to be the leader. But the leading dog, Spitz, was already an excellent one, who also considered Buck as enemy and potential competitor. At last, when Spitz once punished him, hurling backward Buck, he knew the time had come. He killed Spitz and took his place.

When they pulled into Dawson, Buck was sold as useless thing to three gold diggers, who weren’t veteran in sledding and even didn’t know how to get to their destination. Food was eaten up half way. So Charles, one of the three, decided to kill Buck when he couldn’t get up. However, when he aimed at Buck, John Thornton sprang upon him, knocked him down and told him that if Charles stroke Buck, Thornton would kill him.

Thus, Thornton took Buck away. He was the only true friend of Buck. But Buck was a thing of the wild, especially when the calling of wolf from the hills. Once when he came back from hills, he found that Thornton was killed by Indians. What would you do if you were Buck when your beloved friend was killed? Buck became a nut and killed those headsmen and stayed with Thornton for two days and nights, never lea一ving Thornton out of his sight. And then a nearby wolf howl captures his ears, and he follows the sound to an approaching wolf pack, battling several of these creatures to prove his worth.

          野性的呼喚英文讀后感3

At the beginning of this century, many new writers emerged with the introduction of many new ideas. Among them, Jack London was the most popular one.

His most famous novel is the call of the wild . Although it is a story about a dog, Buck, it vividly depicts the life in the primitive North where people rushed for gold and fortune.

Buck, used to belong to a judge, was kidnapped and sold to North. Then he became a member of a dog-team pulling a sled . In the days of pulling a snow-sled, he learned to conform to the law of nature and obey the master. Finally, he found a basic instinct hidden inside him, which enabled himself to survive the tough environment. This is the call of the wild.

When you read the story, you will feel that Buck is a man instead of a dog, struggling with his fortune and conforming to the law of nature.

Though short, it is really a thrilling story. What you never forget is the tough life in the nature, the brave and crafty dog. Maybe the wild is calling you to go ahead.

While writing for only 16 years throughout his life, London produced an amazing body of work among which, White Fang, Martin Eden, the Valley of the Moon are representative.

          野性的呼喚英文讀后感4

As a type of novelette, I wasn't used to this cos I've just finished HarryPotter so in occasions novelette wrote very briefly. The background of the author was very poor, and precisely the time to seek gold. Part of the novel means to expose the hardness of dogs at that time. Men were crazy about gold, the main character, Buck, was stolen by a Gardener of a lawyer who owns Buck.

The man with the red sweater taught him the law of clubs, this was a good beginning. The trading road led him at last to two couriers, who knew how to treat dogs. Then the dog team was traded to a three-people family who were seeking good in Alaska. But they didn't know how to treat dogs and at last dogs and men were drowned in the water, except Buck. He was picked up by a man. And eventually Buck was back to the wild—where his ancestors had been.

In my opinion a good novel could make readers cry, yell, etc. I clenched my fist when the Family treated the dog team badly, and had a wonderful feeling when the man picked up Buck and treated him like his own son. It had feeling, this novel…

          野性的呼喚英文讀后感5

The Call of the Wild is a story about dogs.It describes that the dog named Buck overcame the bad living environment and finally turned into a fierce beast like a wolf. This is the story about instinct, which also triggered my thinking about the call of wildness and human nature. The author's profound language expresses the call for the purest friendship and the wild precious friendship. At the same time, the novel also shows the cruel reality of "survival of the fittest" and "natural selection".

Animals have wild natures, which are well hidden under the domestication of human beings. The dog named Buck in this book originally lived happily in the happy manor and was taken to the North Pole by its owner. You can imagine how big the gap between the living environment is,which foreshadows the wild nature of the dog to stimulate its instinct. In such a bad environment, only by awakening their instincts can they survive, otherwise they have to pay their lives. In the relentless extreme weather, the only way out is to move forward bravely. The cruel reality inspired Buck's instinct, that is,his unyielding survival instinct and will.In order to survive,it learned a lot of skills and also learned to steal. After stealing,it can act as if nothing happened. At last,I was deeply impressed by the moment when he left his new owner. He screamed up in the sky, completely like a wolf, reflecting the purest feelings between dogs and people, which cannot be concealed.

The author observes the world from Buck's perspective and endows the novel with unique characteristics.Buck's world actually reflects the human world.Through the cruelty of the world's reality,a person can stimulate his instinct and change himself strongly.Especially when life and death are at stake, people will show an unexpected desire for survival.Like Buck,we have changed from a pet dog to a "wolf".In fact,it is the times that push us forward."Natural selection" can not help but apply to animals,as well as to us humans.

          野性的呼喚英文讀后感6

When I went to the school library to borrow books,I accidentally saw The Call of the Wilderness. The Call of the Wild! Jack London wrote it! classic! I got it without hesitation.

He has been lying with me for two months and has never had time to watch it.Two days ago,I finally opened my book.Looking at the sharp words, the profound description of wilderness, and his profound exposure to capitalist society,I can't stop.

Booker,a dog born in the south, was sold to some place in the north by an unreliable acquaintance.Because he was born in a civilized city in the south,he had never seen snow and did not know that the way of life here was the law of the jungle. But Curry soon realized that she was killed by another sled dog.Booker was forced to fight for survival in the environment of the jungle. His original dignity disappeared, and his original wildness slowly returned. In pain and dying,Booker was saved by John Thornton. From then on,Booker felt the warmth of love and thanked him for his kindness. However, after John Thornton was killed,Booker finally broke off the connection with human society.Inspired by the voice of the wilderness,he joined the wolves and returned to nature.

This book is a novel with the theme of animals, full of twists and turns, vivid and interesting, with a certain philosophical ending, giving people a certain reverie.Booker is a very strong dog.He refused to let go,but he tried every way to free himself from other dogs and become the "lead dog" among sled dogs.

What touched me most was that he was so loyal to his master that he jumped down without ,it is smart and brave.Although sometimes very competitive, but never reckless. It takes care of everything, grasps the best opportunity, and attacks decisively without hesitation. This may be the spirit we should learn!

          野性的呼喚英文讀后感7

" He sings a song of the younger world, which is the song of the pack."When the last sentence vanished from my eyes,I can still perceive an echo of a song - a wild song, which knocks up my dizzy mind that always cheerfully sink into the so-called civilized world without questioning.Wild,is no longer a symbol of the law of jungle but a headspring where streams out love, passion, bravery, loyalty, friendship, venture, competition and tolerance all these virtues can easily be found in the Call of the Wild.

Jack London is a worldwide renowned novelist. His stories successfully reflect the contradictory views of man's nature and destiny in and against the wild, and his "fight to survive" notion has gained him and his works timeless popularity, particularly, the Call of the Wild

It tells a story of a gigantic dog, named Buck, who is stolen from a rich and comfortable home and forced to learn to survive as an Alaskan sled dog.Buck,at first,is too savage for the company of man until he coincidently encounters his beloved master-kindhearted John Thornton. Finally,John's incidental death breaks Buck's last tie to the man and drives him into his long-desired wild with his pack.In the story,Buck and John simply adopt themselves to answer the call of the wild. When it comes to Buck's mind that one day he will eventually leave John- his master, all he wants to do is just to help him finish the gold-rush-trip.He " from then on,night and day, never put a halt,in desperation,he burst into long stretch of flight, did not to stay him…" Buck wished to remember John's image forever,he "for two days and nights never left camp, never let Thornton out of his sight. He followed him about at his work, watched him while saw him into blankets at night and out of them in the morning…" When I read these words I just could not hold my tears bursting. Can a real man devote himself to loyalty and friendship in such a way?On the other hand,John Thornton is not only a dog-lover but also a brave and venturous man.He is so straightforward and simple that makes him an accommodating he firmly roots a goal into his heart,it seems that nothing could prevent him from accomplishing it except death.I do not know whether the persistence is the most vital element to make a man successful, but what I know is that you are not far away from success once you occupy it.

It is Jack London who plunges me into the animated wild from the hustle-and-bustle and from desperate city. There,I merely cannot deny the attraction of Buck's bark, which enlightens me to pursue another lost half of the nature in mankind, and to dig out a true meaning of life.Dare we imagine that London intentionally employs Buck to set us a model with perfect characters? The answer is affirmed. We,as animals, are from the wild but shedding off more and more wild signs, which demonstrate us as the "uncivilized".However, who can fully guarantee that we have not overlooked some essential wild-endowed virtues?Especially, nowadays,it seems more crucial for us to stop looking at the post-industrialized world and to ponder for a while. When cheats, betrayals, lies, lusts and crimes stuff a materialized society, whether London uses this novel to help himself escape the reality or warn the earthy people,to us,modern man,is all the same.It appears horrible that in modern society many people are enthusiastically talking about how to build up "special relations" to the authority, deceiving and lying to each them life is a mask-wearing process rather than a hard work.Every time, you browse WebPages, scandals in politics, business, the entertainment circle and even on campus crowd into your eyes.Oh,what is the essence of human beings? What is the civilization to us?Do we need to look back at where we came from?Is it good or bad for us to speak out what we think and to do what the consciences demand us to?Are we wasting talents given by the mighty nature?Be an honest, straightforward, warmhearted, emotional and responsible man or be a shrewd, cold hearted and astute hypocrite? While embracing the "civilized" rubbish,we are losing those good virtues, which are the calls of the we lose them,we are to lose ourselves, and we will get nowhere.I wish this dreadful thought is totally a fallacy, but, now,it is chilling me day when I happen to stand on the top of a grand mountain to observe a boundless prairie enveloped by the sapphire firmament and combed by gusts of the rhythmical west wind,a morning sun sprinkles me her warmth and brilliance in a graceful way, however,at that moment,I am afraid that I cannot appreciate these beauties,I am a lost " civilized man" then.

Please, please do not let come true while we are still able to answer the call of the wild.

          野性的呼喚英文讀后感8

Today,I read The Call of the Wild, written by Jack London of the United States.

Buck is a judge's pet dog.Because of the "gold rush" of the 20th century in the United States,it was sold to the northern polar regions to pull sleds. In the process of tossing and turning,he was severely beaten because of his irritability, and saw his companion,a southern dog, being attacked by local dogs and died miserably. For the first time,it realized the cruelty of "big stick" and "sharp tooth".It must stand firm at any time and never fall down.In the middle of the journey,Buck's ambition prevailed. It kept causing trouble, intended to challenge the fierce and hot lead dog Spitz, and finally triggered a fierce fight.Buck won and replaced Spitz in the lead. The harsh polar environment, the hardships of life, and the hardships of traveling have all survived and become more robust. Then Buck fell into the hands of three men and women who were not suitable for exploring the Arctic. They are in trouble and faced with disaster. At this time,a man named Thornton saved it.Thornton loved Buck very much, and Buck was very loyal to Thornton. It saved Thornton's life several times. After Thornton was killed,Buck joined the wolves and returned to nature.

After reading this book,I admire Buck's indomitable matter how hard life in the polar regions is and how bad the conditions are,it has overcome these difficulties.Buck is also very smart. In the extremely harsh struggle for survival,he can protect himself and survive strong in the face of all kinds of people and dogs.Buck knew how to be grateful. He jumped into the swift river three times and risked his life to leave Thornton. He almost tried his best to catch up with the aborigines who killed Thornton.

I think the same is true of life.Be strong in any environment, and know how to protect yourself when encountering people who misbehave, and understand the truth that "every drop of water is rewarded by the spring".

          野性的呼喚英文讀后感9

The Call of the Wild is Jack London's masterpiece. It tells about a dog named Buck who was sold to Alaska as a sled dog and returned from civilization to primitive barbarism under the harsh living environment and the pressure of its master. This book vividly describes the bad environment, human greed and cruelty, and the struggle between life and hegemony.

At the beginning of the adventure,Buck was too naive to stand the test, but he survived in the harsh environment with strong adaptability, defeated all his opponents step by step, and became the king of sled dogs.At this time, the strength of his wildness became stronger and stronger, and his desire to return to nature became stronger and importantly,he learned love and loyalty from his last master,John Thornton, after being abused by the previous masters. When John Thornton was killed by Indians, the wildness in Buck completely broke out.Buck bit the murderer of his master like a wolf. After revenge,he returned to nature with the wolves.

Buck is a dog,but he is also spiritual. He can understand when his master mistreats him,but he can also understand when his master loves him.He can understand love and loyalty. The power of love and loyalty is infinite. When John Thornton bets with others,it is love and loyalty that makes Buck pull a half ton sledge. When John Thornton is killed by Indians,it is love and loyalty that drives Buck to revenge for his master.

This novel is about dogs, and it also reflects the human world. In Alaska, where there is ice and snow, the survival struggle under the harsh environment is life and death, and this cruel struggle also exists in the human world. The hegemony of dogs is also a power struggle in the human world.Of course, the power of love and loyalty is also common in the human world.

In a word, this novel is very well written, and I recommend students to read it.

My Call of the Wild —— Enlightenment of The Call of the Wild " He sings a song of the younger world, which is the song of the pack." (Chapter VII The Sounding of the Wild) When the last sentence vanished from my eyes, I can still perceive an echo of a song - a wild song, which knocks up my dizzy mind that always cheerfully sink into the so-called civilized world without questioning. 野性的呼喚英文讀后感11

During the winter vacation,I read some famous let's talk about the Call of the Wild. The author of this book is Jack London of America.

The main content is: In the gold rush era,the fate of a dog is sad,but what if it is a super smart dog? This book is about the life of such a dog,Buck.Leaving his warm and comfortable home,a beating taught him the first lesson: dogs can never win big headed sticks; The life of sledding taught him the second lesson: Only the fittest can survive; The duel with the Indians taught him the third lesson: Nothing can be defeated! He came to the fore in a short time, defeated Spitz, and became the leader of the sled team instead. He was famous far and near: he went into the water several times, regardless of everything,to save his trapped owner Thornton.

He yearned for the wild life of his ancestors, but was deeply attached to his master.Where should he go?At this time, the master was in terrible trouble, and the call of the wolf sounded in the distance. Finally,he became the leader of the wolves, leading the wolves to sing songs full of vitality.

After reading this book, the most obvious feeling is yearning for freedom and the life you like.Like Buck, the hero in the book,he is very attached to the wild life, but he can't bear Thornton,so he has to go to the forest during the day and return to his master at night. Many people, like Buck, yearn for this side and are attached to that side. They really don't know which to choose or give ,many parents are strict with their children. They expect their children to be successful and their daughters to be successful. They seldom give their children free time. The child is still young and needs a free sky.

Similarly, let's give freedom to others and also love animals.Wild Call After Reading English.

          野性的呼喚英文讀后感12

Recently,I read The Call of the Wild.

It describes a wolf dog named "Buck" who lives a rich life. But later, people needed strong dogs like Buck to pull sleds,so the gardener stole Buck and sold it to two Canadians.Buck suffered a lot,and his anger made him find the wildness left by his ancestors.Later,Buck was sold to the gold diggers and used his strong body and witty mind to defeat the leader dog Biz and become a new leader. They traveled day and night in the snow and ice,and Buck learned how to survive on his own.In his world, there are only cruel fangs and claws. He used his natural excellent management ability to lead the dog team forward.

Later,Buck changed several owners and finally came to John. When he was beaten to death by his last owner,Hal,John saved him.Later,Buck saved John twice at the cost of his life. But unfortunately,John was killed by Indians when he was panning for gold. The angry Buck tore up the Indians and avenged ,Buck has nothing to do with human beings,so he joined the wolves and became their leader

Buck survived many difficulties with his strong willpower.Human beings beat him,and he was tired and thirsty after a long journey in the ice and snow. But he would change his mind and survive in any tough environment, because he knew the truth,he had experience, and he had experienced setbacks!

On the way of life, there are many stumbling blocks. If you remove them one by one,you will be a winner!

          野性的呼喚英文讀后感13

In the summer vacation,I read The Call of the Wild. This book is the work of Jack London,an American writer.

At that time, the United States was still in the initial stage of capitalist development.People rushed to the North Pole to find gold. Therefore, many sturdy dogs are needed to pull sleds.

This book describes the hero Buck, who is also one of the dogs sold to the North Pole. When he just arrived at the North Pole,Buck witnessed his companions being attacked by local dogs and died miserably. It also felt the cruelty of the big stick for the first time, and since then it has believed in the rules of 'big stick' and 'sharp teeth'.After several changes of ownership,Buck fell into three men and women who were not suitable for exploring in the Arctic.Just when Buck was about to get into trouble with them,a man named Thornton saved it.Thus,Buck gradually had a good impression on him and pulled Thornton back from the edge of death three times at the risk of his life.Because Thornton was killed by Indians,Buck tore the Indian's throat crazily in order to pay for his master. Finally,he returned to nature.

Buck is a strong man in the novel. Its heroic performance and strong posture now and then float before my eyes.If we want to have a foothold in this society,we must learn to have a tough life will, tenacious survival ability and resourceful survival like in this way can we survive in this society.

At the end of the book, the author wrote: "It opens its throat and sings a song of the original young world,a song of the wolf." How majestic and heroic this sentence is!

This is the legend of a dog,Buck!
