英語(yǔ)童話故事大全3則

　　在童話的分類(lèi)上，民俗學(xué)者采用了許多不同的方法，其中最為著名的有阿爾奈-湯普森分類(lèi)法以及弗拉基米爾·普羅普的形態(tài)分析法。

　　阿佩萊斯和小毛驢

　　Apelles meeting with the little ass1 invited him to tea that very right. The little ass was trembling with delight. He prances2 through the wood; he pesters3 all who pass: 'Apelles bores me so. He will not let me be, you know! Whenever him I see, he asks me in to tea. I'm sure he wants to paint a Pegasus from me.'

　　'Oh no!' Apelles said as he happened to be near, 'I am painting the judgment4 of King Midas. I'm acquainting with you because you seem to boast the proper length of ear. So if you'll come to tea, most happy I shall be. For long-eared asses5 are not rare, but with the ears that you can show, no little or big ass either ever could compare!'

　　Consumed with vanity, the fool admires himself for that which others ridicule6, and often makes a boast of that which ought to shame him most.

　　阿佩萊斯遇到一只小小的毛驢，當(dāng)晚就請(qǐng)它去喝茶。這小驢子高興得全身顫抖，它在森林里高視闊步，和所有路過(guò)的人嘮嘮叨叨地說(shuō)：“阿佩萊斯煩死我了，你知道，他死纏著我不放，不論什么時(shí)候遇到她，他總是叫我去喝茶，我想他一定是要按我的模樣畫(huà)一匹天上的飛馬呢。”

　　“不，哪有那么回事!”阿佩萊斯說(shuō)道(他正好在旁邊)，“我畫(huà)的是國(guó)王米達(dá)斯的審判，我認(rèn)識(shí)你，是因?yàn)槟闼坪踉诖祰u你的耳朵長(zhǎng)度合適。所以如果你來(lái)喝茶，我高興之至。長(zhǎng)耳朵的驢子并不稀奇，可是你生的那副耳朵，無(wú)論大小驢子都不能和你相比!”

　　蠢才妄自尊大。他自鳴得意，恰恰是受人嘲笑奚落的短處，而且常常把應(yīng)該引以為奇恥大辱的事情大吹大擂。

　　自食其果

　　A self-important lion in the jungle tried to make his mastery clear to all.

　　He was so confident that he paid no attention to the smaller animals and went right up to a bear. He asked the bear, "Who is the king of the jungle?" The bear replied, "Of course you are."

　　Then the lion asked a tiger the same question. The tiger replied with some reluctance1, "Of course you are." And then he went to ask an elephant. But the elephant would not allow the lion to do so. He suddenly took hold of the lion with his long nose and bounced2 the lion against a tree, leaving him bleeding3 and badly shaken up.

　　When the lion finally got up, he blamed the elephant and said: "Even if you couldn't answer my question, it's not necessary for you to act so rough4."

　　熱帶叢林里的一個(gè)妄自菲薄的獅子試圖使所有的動(dòng)物都明白它的.統(tǒng)治地位。

　　它非常自信，對(duì)較小的動(dòng)物不屑一顧，而是直接去問(wèn)一只黑熊：“誰(shuí)是叢林里的大王呀?” 黑熊回答說(shuō)：“當(dāng)然是你呀。”

　　于是它又去問(wèn)一個(gè)老虎同樣的問(wèn)題。老虎有點(diǎn)勉強(qiáng)地回答說(shuō)：“當(dāng)然是你呀!”然后他又去問(wèn)一頭大象。可是大象不買(mǎi)它的賬，突然用它的長(zhǎng)鼻子把獅子抓起來(lái)向一棵樹(shù)扔過(guò)去，讓它鮮血淋漓和渾身發(fā)抖。

　　獅子終于爬起來(lái)時(shí)，它責(zé)怪大象說(shuō)：“即使你回答不了我的問(wèn)題，也用不著這么粗魯嘛。”

　　小豬搬西瓜

　　In spring, the mother pig took the little pig LuLu to the foot of the mountain. They planted some watermelon.

　　When summer came, there were many big round watermelons in the field.

　　One day, the sun was burning like a fire, it was terribly hot on the ground. The mother pig said to the little pig:"Lulu, go to the field to pick a watermelon back,ok?" Lulu said happily:"Ok! No problem."

　　Then he ran to the watermelon field. When he got to the field, he was happy to find so many big green watermelons. He chose one of the biggest watermelon and picked it from the vine. Then he held it with his hands trying to lift is on his shoulder to carry it home.

　　"Wow!It's so heavy!" Lulu tried several times, but he failed. And he was socked with sweat. He wiped his sweat off and decided to have a rest.

　　Suddenly he saw the monkey Pipi. He was playing with a hoop. Lulu patted his head and said:"I've got it." He thought,the round hoop can roll, the watermelon round too,then it can roll too.He then put the big melon on the ground and rolled it forward quickly.

　　At last he got home with the watermelon.The mother pig knew the story, she exclaimed:"My child, you're really clever!"

　　春天的時(shí)候，豬媽媽帶著小豬嚕嚕，在山坡下種了一大片西瓜。到了夏天，西瓜地里結(jié)滿了又圓又大的西瓜。

　　有一天，太陽(yáng)光火辣辣地照著大地，天啊，可熱了。豬媽媽對(duì)小豬說(shuō)：“嚕嚕，你到咱們的地里摘個(gè)大西瓜回來(lái)解解渴吧!”小豬嚕嚕高興地說(shuō)：“好吧!”說(shuō)完就往西瓜地里跑。到了地里一看。呵，到處躺著大西瓜，水靈靈的，真惹人喜愛(ài)!嚕嚕挑了個(gè)最大的摘了下來(lái)。它雙手摟著西瓜，想抱起來(lái)放在肩上扛回家。“喲，好重呀!”嚕嚕試著抱了幾次都沒(méi)有抱起來(lái)，還累得滿頭大汗。 它直起身來(lái)，擦了擦臉上的汗水想休息一下，再去試試抱西瓜。突然，它看到小猴皮皮在山下邊的馬路上滾鐵環(huán)玩呢。小豬嚕嚕一拍后腦勺高興地說(shuō)：“有了，我有辦法了。”什么辦法呢?小豬嚕嚕心想：鐵環(huán)是圓的，可以滾動(dòng)。西瓜也是圓的，不也可以滾動(dòng)嗎?想到這兒啊，小豬嚕嚕顧不上休息，把大西瓜放在地上。咕嚕嚕，咕嚕嚕地向前滾，一直把西瓜滾到家里。

　　豬媽媽看到小豬嚕嚕把又圓又大的西瓜搬回家，夸獎(jiǎng)嚕嚕是個(gè)愛(ài)動(dòng)腦筋的豬娃娃!
