When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
當(dāng)你老了，頭發(fā)花白，睡意沉沉，
And nodding by the fire，take down this book,
倦坐在爐邊，取下這本書來，
And slowly read,and dream of the soft look
慢慢讀著，追夢(mèng)當(dāng)年的眼神
Your eyes had once,and of their shadows deep;
你那柔美的神采與深幽的暈影。
How many loved your moments of glad grace,
多少人愛過你曇花一現(xiàn)的身影，
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
愛過你的美貌，以虛偽或真情，
But one man loved the pilgrim Soul in you
惟獨(dú)一人曾愛你那朝圣者的心，
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;
愛你哀戚的`臉上歲月的留痕。
And bending down beside the glowing bars,
在爐罩邊低眉彎腰，

那一天，
我閉目在經(jīng)殿的香霧中，
驀然聽見你頌經(jīng)中的真言;
那一月，
我搖動(dòng)所有的經(jīng)筒，
不為超度，
只為觸摸你的指尖;
那一年，
磕長(zhǎng)頭匍匐在山路，
不為覲見，
只為貼著你的溫暖;
那一世，
轉(zhuǎn)山轉(zhuǎn)水轉(zhuǎn)佛塔，
不為修來世，
只為途中與你相見，
那一月，
我輕轉(zhuǎn)過所有經(jīng)筒，
不為超度，只為觸摸你的指紋;
那一年，我磕長(zhǎng)頭擁抱塵埃，
不為朝佛，只為貼著你的溫暖;
那一世，我細(xì)翻遍十萬(wàn)大山，
為修來世，只為路中能與你相遇;
只是，就在那一夜，我忘卻了所有，
拋卻了信仰，舍棄了輪回，
只為，那曾在佛前哭泣的玫瑰，
早已失去舊日的光澤。
