　　一、play作名詞時，意思是“劇本；喜劇”。 如：

　　They watched an interesting TVplay.他們看了一部有趣的電視劇。

　　二、play作動詞時：

　　1、play+表示球類/棋牌類的名詞，如：play soccer 踢足球  play chess 下國際象棋  play cards 打牌

　　2、play+the+西洋樂器類名詞，如：play the piano 彈鋼琴  play the violin 拉小提琴

　　3、play+其他名詞，如：play games  玩游戲 play sports 做運動  play a role in 扮演角色；在......中起作用

　　4、play with sb./sth."與某人一起玩/玩某物"。如：It is dangerous to play with fire.玩火是很危險的。
