一、教材分析
本單元主要學習用what time引導的特殊疑問句詢問時間的標準用法和不同時間段的表達法,直接表達法：鐘點+分鐘；間接表達法：A.分鐘+past+鐘點，B.分鐘+to+鐘點；學習表示頻率的副詞。數字已在前幾個單元學過，結合數字學習時間的表達，以及表達一天發生的活動。
二、學情分析
對于when引導的特殊疑問句用來詢問時間我們已經在第一單元學過，教師要引導學生比較這兩種特殊疑問句用來詢問時間時的異同，從而正確使用它們；在表達不同時間段時要運用數詞，這也是已經學過的內容，在教學時要及時地進復習和回顧，學生才能對新的目標語言運用得心應手。
三、設計思路
本單元通過“談論日常作息時間”這一話題，設計了三個任務型活動：任務一是：談論自己的作息習慣，學習不同時間段的表達法；任務二是：我該怎么辦?學習運用when和what time詢問和表達時間的方法；任務三是：掌握不同的時間表達法，如何靈活運用to和past.
四、教學目標
按照課程標準，本節的教學目標如下：
1、知識目標：
Section B的主要內容是學習用when和what time引導的特殊疑問句詢問時間和時間的表達法；運用所學的目標語言對生活和學習活動做計劃，學會合理地安排作息時間。
2、技能目標：
利用教學圖片、幻燈片或制作多媒體課件來展開課堂Pairwork問答式的口語交際活動和游戲活動，通過多種聽力材料和鞏固練習題檢查本單元的知識掌握情況。
3、情感目標：
Section B談論的話題是“日常作息時間”，學習內容貼近學生的生活，因為學生的作息時間安排是非常有規律的。通過互相詢問或談論自己或對方的作息時間安排和活動計劃，可以培養學生良好的作息習慣和守時習慣。
五、教學重點和難點
1.復習詞組：get up, run, eat breakfast, go to school, go home, do my homework, clean my room, eat dinner, take a walk, go to bed.
2.句型：What time do you usually …?
I usually … at six.
3. What time引導特殊疑問句，以及表示頻率的副詞。

七、教學過程
Step 1 Warming up
Round the clock
設計意圖：通過歌曲導入課堂，吸引學生的興趣，利用鐘表的歌曲引出本課的內容。
Step 2 Presentation
Teacher teaches how to say the time. There are 2 methods to talk about the time. One, the direct method and examples; Second, the indirect method and examples.
Exercises. Let the students to discuss in groups, then check the answers. Ask the students to say the answers one by one.
設計意圖：教師先示范講解時間的不同表達法，學生有很強的模仿力，通過學習教師講解，讓學生自我練習表達時間。
Phrases. Review the phrases we learnt before with pictures. Ask the students to read them together for 3times.
Using the multimedia to cover the phrases and let the students to say the phrases according to the phrases.
設計意圖：運用圖片復習詞組，吸引學生的注意力。運用電子白板功能檢查學生詞組的掌握情況，為聽力學習做鋪墊。
Listening.
(1) Listen and circle the activities you hear.
(2) Listen again. Write the times next to the activities circled in 1c.
(3) Read the tapescript and find the correct answers by themselves.
設計意圖：聽力練習完成1C，1B，通過討論、自讀聽力稿等方式提高學生的聽力水平。
Reading
(1) Read the reading material and find the answers.
(2) Read the material again, and discuss with partners to find the answers to 2C.
(3) Let the students read the material again and teacher emphasize the important points.
設計意圖：閱讀部分是本節課的重點，先粗讀找出問題答案，再細讀小組討論問題答案，最后教師解析重點，強調易錯知識。

Step4 Summary
Ask the students to sum up.
設計意圖：學生自談收獲，教師最后進行系統的歸納總結，強調突出重點。及時總結鞏固，學生記憶牢固。

A. Do a survey about your family members’ healthy and unhealthy habits and write down the phrases.
B．Do a survey about your family members’ healthy and unhealthy habits.
設計意圖：適當的作業，鞏固本堂課所學知識。
