I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud
William Wordsworth
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high oer vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed---and gazed---but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

1.The Cow
~Robert Louis Stevenson
The friendly cow, all red and white,
I love with all my heart:
She gives me cream with all her might,
To eat with apple tart.
She wanders lowing here and there,
And yet she cannot stray,
All in the pleasant open air,
The pleasant light of day;
And blown by all the winds that pass
And wet with all the showers,
She walks among the meadow grass
And eats the meadow flowers.

Dear Jack, Are you OK?Are you still handsome as before? Are you alive?Do you remember me?Can you come back to have a look at me?I miss you. I know you will never be the ship sank and eventually disappeared,as you frose because of the cold sea water,as you could not let out any sound.I realized I would not have an opportunity to spend my rest of life with you forever.I have lost you.
Over the years,I have been missing you day and night.I cannot help thinking of the time I spended with you. Once you said:‘I am king of the world!’ I want to say:‘ You are king of my heart!’Staring at the rough sea that ever ate up you,I burst into anger, but I calm down quickly when your face comes into my mind.I know you are kind and warm-hearted. I miss the time on board.Y taught me how to dance and how to possess ks to you,I experienced the happiest days in my life; Thanks to you,I knew the meaning of because of you. If things did not get worse, maybe we can be with forever.I will never forget every minute I spent with you and keep it in my mind deeply.I hope you know there is a girl named Rose missing you.I hope you know there is a girl named Rose regarding you as the most important person in her life. Jack, can you come back just? A short time though you will stay,it doesnt matter. Hope Sincerely Rose

Optimism and Pessimistic
The optimism all saw in each time the danger to the opportunity, but the pessimistic person all saw in each opportunity to the danger.
The father wants to pair of twin brothers to make "the disposition transformation", because of excessively optimistic, but another then is excessively pessimistic. One day, he has bought many lusters bright new toys for the pessimistic child, also feed-in the optimistic child between to pile up with the horse dung in the garage.
The second day early morning, the father witnesses to the pessimistic child is choking with sobs, then asked: "Why doesnt play these toys?"
"Played has been able bad." The child still was sobbing.
The father sighs, enters the garage, discovered actually that optimistic child jubilantly is pulling out any in the horse dung.
"Tells you, daddy." That child complacently declared to the father that, "I thought in the horse dunghill certainly also is hiding a pony!"
Warm prompt: Between the optimism and the pessimist, its difference is very interesting: The optimism saw to is fries in oil the circle cake, the pessimist saw to is a hole.
In my dual profession as an educator and health care provider, I have worked with numerous children infected with the virus that causes AIDS. The relationships that I have had with these special kids have been gifts in my life. They have taught me so many things, but I have especially learned that great courage can be found in the smallest of packages. Let me tell you about Tyler.
Tyler was born infected with HIV: his mother was also infected. From the very beginning of his life, he was dependent on medications to enable him to survive. When he was five, he had a tube surgically ed in a vein in his chest. This tube was connected to a pump, which he carried in a small backpack on his back. Medications were hooked up to this pump and were continuously supplied through this tube to his bloodstream. At times, he also needed supplemented oxygen to support his breathing.
Tyler wasn’t willing to give up one single moment of his childhood to this deadly disease. It was not unusual to find him playing and racing around his backyard, wearing his medicine-laden backpack and dragging his tank of oxygen behind him in his little wagon. All of us who knew Tyler marveled at his pure joy in being alive and the energy it gave him. Tyler’s mom often teased him by telling him that he moved so fast she needed to dress him in red. That way, when she peered through the window to check on him playing in the yard, she could quickly spot him.
This dreaded disease eventually wore down even the likes of a little dynamo like Tyler. He grew quite ill and, unfortunately, so did his HIV-infected mother. When it became apparent that he wasn’t going to survive, Tyler’s mom talked to him about death. She comforted him by telling Tyler that she was dying too, and that she would be with him soon in heaven.
A few days before his death, Tyler beckoned me over to his hospital bed and whispered, “I might die soon. I’m not scared. When I die, please dress me in red. Mom promised she’s coming to heaven, too. I’ll be playing when she gets there, and I want to make sure she can find me.”

But this day especially,

There are times when humans help,
But we need a higher power
To assist us bear what must be borne,
and so dear Lord, I pray -
Hold on to my trembling hand
And be near me today.hi, I picked 5 classic poems for children. hope you like them.

Have you ever done something silly that made you feel so embarrassed? Well, I had a really bad Saturday morning.
I went shopping last week, on my way home, it began to rain. I quickly ran into a nearby phone box because I didnt have an umbrella. It was raining hard and I decided to stay in the phone box until it stopped. A few minutes later, I saw a young man walk up to the phone box, wearing a yellow raincoat and holding a tool box. I didn’t want to go out into the rain, so I picked up the phone and pretended I was talking to someone. I thought he would go away, but he didnt. He just waited in the heavy rain, watching me wave my hands about and act as if I was deep in conversation.
Luckily, the rain stopped after about ten minutes. “OK, Mum,”I said loudly into the phone.
“Ill see you later. Bye!” I put the phone down and went out of the phone box.
“Im sorry to keep you waiting for so long.”I said to the man.
“Oh, I dont want to use the phone,”he replied. “Ive just come to repair it. It doesnt work.”
My face turned red and I quickly ran off with my head down. That was certainly the most embarrassing time of my life.

When you are old and gray and full ofsleep,
And nodding by the fire, take downth book,
And slowly read, and dream of the softlook your eyes had once,
And of their shadows deep;
回想它們過去濃重陰影;
How many loved your moments of gladgrace,
And loved your beauty with love falseor true;
But one man loved the pilgrim soul inyou,
And loved the sorrows of your changingface;
愛你老去容顏痛苦皺紋;
And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a littlesadly, how love fled,
And paced upon the mountains overhead,
And hid h face amid a crowd of stars.

Life is a personal, non - transferable patent.
The process of life is the process of time consuming. In the face of time, the greatest man has no power to reverse; we cannot buy, nor can we sell; we have only choice and use.
Therefore, to treasure life is to cherish time and to make the best use of time. Because of the intense emergence of my consciousness, I am spending more and more money on myself.
I try to choose an easy way of life, so I encourage and create light poetry. What I call light is not pure game life and enjoyment, but the pursuit of the light and freedom of the mind, and the day of self indulgence. And this feeling will lead to more humane and smart choices. A person living very tired, will make you around people and society also feel very tired. If I can benefit others and groups, it is because I can release this relaxed atmosphere and make others happy with me (no matter how short).
The only way to make the whole world a harmonious place is to relax ones life. Evil is no cure for evil.
For our descendants of the Loess Plateau, the ancient civilization, a long history has made us bear enough heavy, complex reality and interpersonal relations, so that we experience enough tired.
I am willing to light weight, with light to tired. On my own, whether it is in nirvana or misfortune, I can easily find themselves, neither fame nor tired, for the suffering poor environment. To the surrounding community, when I appear in front of them, can bring them the need to relax, and to add or ease the joy and pain in their lives.
Of course, this is my one wish on a very narrow world, social and secular caught by me, believe that the pursuit of a relaxed lifestyle, at certain times and in certain aspects, may pay a heavy price.

A little boy asked his mother: “Why are you crying?”
“Because I am a woman.” She told him.
“I don’t understand” he said.
His mum just hugged him and said: “And you never will.”
Later the little boy asked his father: “ Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?”
“All woman cry for no reason.” Was all his dad could say.
The little boy grow up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.
Finally he put in a call to God, when God got on the phone, he asked, “God, why do women cry so easily?”
God said: “ When I made the women, she had to be special. I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world; yet, gentle enough to give comfort.
I gave her inner strength to endure childbirth, and the rejections many times comes from her children.
I gave her hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complains.
“I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even her children has hurt her very badly.
“I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.”
“I gave her the wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strength and resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.”
“And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. That is her exclusively to use whenever it is needed.”
“You see the beauty of a women is not the clothes she wears, the figure she carries, or the way she combs her hair.”
“The beauty of a women must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where the love resides.

The same leaves over and over again!
They fall from giving shade above
To make one texture of faded brown
And fit the earth like a leather glove.
Before the leaves can mount again
To fill the trees with another shade,They must go down past things coming up.
They must go down into the dark decayed.
They must be pierced by flowers and put
Beneath the feet of dancing flowers.
However it is in some other world
I know that this is the way in ours.
Everyone deals with discouragement at some point in their life. It’s part of what makes the human experience rich—the highs and the lows. If we didn’t experience the lows, then we wouldn’t appreciate the highs.
Discouragement, disappointment, failure, and setbacks—these are all things that can help us if we maintain an empowering mindset. The key to life is to learn from these experiences, and minimize the amount of time that we allow ourselves to stay discouraged. So the next time you start to feel discouragement, here is what you should do:
1. Go find someone who we can help
This is a great way to alleviate discouragement. Go find someone who needs help, and then help them. It is really that simple. When we serve others, when we go out of our way to help other people in need, we feel better. It is impossible to be discouraged when we are giving all our efforts on behalf of another. Discouragement is a really a self-driven symptom. We are focusing on ourselves. That is why we feel bad. However, when we stop thinking about ourselves, and when we direct our attention to another, we feel better.
2. Remember, there is no such thing as failure. There is only education
When we feel like we have failed at something, discouragement often follows. However, failure doesn’t really exist, except for the meaning that we give it. If we don’t get the result that we want, when we want it, we just need to take new action.
We can choose, instead of thinking of failure as bad, to think of failure as education, and therefore good. When we view it this way we realize that failure isn’t something that is bad, or something to be avoided. It is simply feedback. When we think this way we ease discouragement.
3. Stay true to our vision. See it again in our mind
If we are feeling discouraged, think about our vision. Think about what we want to create in our life. See it clearly. Feel what it would feel like if the image came into reality. What would this mean for us? How would we feel. Once we see it, and feel it, we will also feel empowered and our discouragement will dissipate.
4. Don’t let our ego get in the way of our development
Our ego is often the primary cause of our feelings of disappointment and discouragement. It doesn’t have to be this way. We can control our ego. When we do this, we are on the path of development. When we are internally strong enough to handle constructive criticism, and feedback, we receive the rewards of growth. Growth leads to happiness.
5. Stop comparing ourself to others. We’re on a unique path
A sure fire, 100% guaranteed way to get discouraged is to focus on other people in a comparative way. Here is why: we generally see their victories, successes, and strengths. We see what they have and what we don’t. We see why they are better than us. When we do this we get discouraged and we feel sorry for ourselves. We don’t as easily see their struggles, their fears, their setbacks, and their failures.
So don’t do it. It isn’t empowering. Don’t compare. We are on a unique path. It is great to be inspired by another, but if by hearing another’s story, we feel that we are lesser, then we need to just focus on our own path.
6. Detach from rewards, focus on our actions and giving our best work
If our sole motivation for doing something is the reward that we might get from the action, then we are setting ourselves up for discouragement. Action should be its own reward. When it is, we are forever free. Freedom is at the heart of happiness. When we don’t need someone else’s praise for doing something, when we don’t need a “carrot” for performing our work, then we are truly free to just focus on our work and make it great. When we create great work we are happy.
7. Change our “rules” for being happy
What rule do we have to be happy? What has to happen for us to feel successful? Is it in our control? If it isn’t then we might be setting ourselves up for failure. By rules I mean the set of circumstances that must be present for us to feel accomplished.
We have to create rules that serve us. We have to live by rules that are within our control. Here are some of my rules: I am successful when I grow and improve. I am successful when I give my very best.
8. Consider who we are spending time with
The people who we spend the most time with might be a major contributing factor to feeling discouragement. This can be a very hard one, especially if those people are family and loved ones. We have a tendency to become who we most frequently associate with, and if we spend all our time with people who are constantly negative, and feeling sorry for themselves, we can be influenced to see life through a similar lens.
So what can we do? We can’t simply cut loved ones out of our lives. So what we should do is simply expand our social network. Join a peer group that is positive. Start to surround ourselves with positive people as a balance. Over time we will start to take on their mindset and this will help with any feelings of discouragement we may have.
9. Get outside, move and breathe
Fresh air and sunshine can have an amazing effect on our feelings. Sometimes when we are feeling down, all that we need to do is simply to go outside and breathe. Movement and exercise is also a fantastic way to feel better. Positive emotions can be generated by motion. So if we start to feel down, take some deep breathes, go outside, feel the fresh air, let the sun hit our face, go for a hike, a walk, a bike ride, a swim, a run, whatever. We will feel better if we do this.
10. Talk to our mentor
Our mentor can be a great source of wisdom when we are feeling down. So when discouragement rears its ugly head, go have a coffee with our mentor. They will be able to give us wisdom based on experience. In many cases they will also give us tough love and help us to snap out of it if we are feeling sorry for ourselves. They will also help us to make a specific plan of action to work our way out of discouragement.
11.Take the long view
Discouragement generally occurs when our expectations (what we think should happen) don’t align with reality (what actually happens). In many cases our expectations are unrealistic, and this often has to do with how long we think things should happen. If we take a longer view, and relax our expectations a little, it can really help to decrease discouragement. The reality is that most things that are worthwhile take a lot of effort and time to come to fruition. So be patient!

This poem is about someone whom I deeply cared about. The feelings were never returned, but I learned that with or without his love, I could make it and always remain strong and happy.
Words of wisdom come to my ears,
Telling me what I know in my heart,
But never wanted to hear.
With the truth finally said and out in the open for me to plainly see,
I wonder why I can love so deeply but never had that love returned back to me.
I confessed the feelings that I held inside for so long,
But with his soft- hearted rejection,
I realize I have to be strong.
With tears that want to flow from my eyes,
I feel that my heart, along with my composure, slowly dies.
While this dramatic side is showing through with my ability to question and reason,
I think I may have found something in me that I can believe in.
Love hurts . . .
Thats what they all say,
But I will love again when all this pain and sorrow goes away.
So I sit and think of all the things this situation has cost,
And I realize that nothing very important has been lost.
Instead, a learning experience has come from all this.
Ive learned that hardly anything is more important than my happiness.

As everyone knows, English is very important today. It has been used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet. If we can speak English well, we will have more chance to succeed. Because more and more people have taken notice of it, the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed. But for myself, I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness, but also because of my love for it. When I learn English, I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world. When I read English novels, I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation. When I speak English, I can feel the confident from my words.
When I writeEnglish, I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese... I love English, it gives me a colorful dream. I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different contries. I can see many places of great intrests. I dream that I can go to London, because it is the birth place of English. I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people, I hope that they can love our country like us. I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well. If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love Englisheveryday, it will love me too. I am sure that I will realize my dream one day! Thank you!
