初中定語從句的課件
一、 概念
在句子中起定語作用、修飾句中的名詞或代詞的從句稱為定語從句，被修飾的名詞或代詞成為先行詞。定語從句由關(guān)系代詞（which，that，who，whom，whose）或關(guān)系副詞（when，where，why）引導(dǎo)。
二、 例句
1. The flowers which I grew in the garden last month will bloom soon.
2. The man who telephoned me just now is a writer. This is the place where my mother was born.
三、 關(guān)系代詞的選擇
1. 充當(dāng)主語的關(guān)系代詞 關(guān)系代詞在限定性定語從句中作主語，who 用于人，which用于物，that既可以指人可以指物。
2. 充當(dāng)賓語的.關(guān)系代詞 關(guān)系代詞在限制性定語從句中作謂語動詞賓語，who ,whom 用于指人，which用于指物。that 既可以指人，也可以指物。在非正式文體中可省略。The suit(which/that) the tailor suited for me doesn’t fit me.
3. 作介詞賓語的關(guān)系代詞 在限制性和非限制性定語從句中，關(guān)系代詞作介詞賓語，whom 用于指人，which用于指物，不能用that. The man with whom you shook hands just now is head of our department.
四、 辨析
常用that 的幾種情況
1. 先行詞前含形容詞最高級、序數(shù)詞或only作第一文庫網(wǎng)修飾語. This is the best film that has ever been made.
2. 先行詞前含不定代詞，如all ，anything，nothing，little，much等。
That is all (that) I want to say.
3. 先行詞為人和物的名詞組。
They talked of persons and things that they remembered in the school.
五、 關(guān)系副詞的選擇
When 和 where 可以用于限制和非限制性定語從句中，why只能用于限制性定語從句中。它們在從句中分別作時間、地點和原因狀語，其結(jié)構(gòu)相當(dāng)于“介詞+關(guān)系代詞”.
1. I still remember the day when/on which we firstmet.
2. The city where /in which I was born is on the newrailway line. This is the reason why/for which he left school.
