          二、學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)

          1、知識性目標(biāo):To learn the language points in the passage and find out the main idea of the passage.

          2、過程性目標(biāo):To know the disagreements between Liu Yu and his parents’about Liu Yu’s hobby.

          3、技能性目標(biāo):Improve listening , reading , writing skills.

          Train ability of the use of the target language.

          三、教學(xué)重點(diǎn):Key vocabulary and language points

          A reading passage

          四、教學(xué)難點(diǎn):Make the students to use the new language actively in their own new sentences

          Step 1:

          2a. Free talk:

          1. What’s your hobby?

          2. Do you think hobby can get in the way of schoolwork?

          3. Are you allowed to make your own decisions at home? What kinds of decisions?

          Step 2:Reading

          2b. First, look at the title of the passage. Answer "yes" or "no". Find out how many in your group agree with you. Then read the passage. Does your answer change?

          Step3:

          2c. Read the passage again and answer the questions.

          1. What is Liu Yu’s hobby?

          2. What does Liu Yu want to be when hegrows up?

          3. Why do Liu Yu’s parents not allow Liu Yu to practice his hobby at night?

          4. Do you think Liu Yu should be allowed to practice his hobby as much as he wants? Why or why not?
