教學目標：

能聽懂，會說，能認讀單詞ice-skating/wore/fall over -fell over/hurt/learnt.
能聽懂，會說，能認讀She went ice-skating. She worm warm clothes. She fell over. But it didn’t hurt. She learnt to skate.能比較準確地描述過去發(fā)生的事情。
能借助圖片和文字聽懂、讀懂和朗讀課文。
能用過去式描述過去發(fā)生的行為。
2.學習策略
有條理地描述過去發(fā)生的事情。
學習元音、字母組合在單詞中的語音規(guī)律。
3.情感態(tài)度目標
培養(yǎng)學生樂于與他人合作的精神。
熱愛運動，熱愛生活，不怕困難挫折的樂觀情緒。
重點難點：
1.本課的教學重點是能聽懂、會說，能認讀單詞ice-skating/wore/fall over -fell over/hurt /learnt及句子She went ice-skating. She worm warm clothes. She fell over. But it didn’t hurt. She learnt to skate.
2.本課的教學難點是能借助圖片和文字聽懂、讀懂和朗讀課文，并能用過去式描述過去發(fā)生的行為。
教學過程：
一、Warmer
Greetings.

【設計意圖】通過greeting, clap-and-stamp, free talk環(huán)節(jié)，激發(fā)學生學習興趣和對新課知識的渴望，并激活原有的語言知識，為新課學習做好鋪墊。
二、Presentation
1. Task-setting.
Today we’ll continue to talk about things happened before, tell some funny stories and make a class story book.
【設計意圖】課堂伊始就向?qū)W生提出任務，讓學生通過完成具體的任務活動來學習語言，也為學生創(chuàng)設了比較真實的語言環(huán)境。
2. Watch CD- ROM and understand the text
Was Lucy happy in her trip?
What did she do?
【設計意圖】學習本課新單詞和句型前，學生先觀看課文光盤，讓學生自然感知和理解即將學習的'新語言現(xiàn)象所發(fā)生的情景與語境，這樣的整體語言輸入有利于較好的完成本課的語言運用目標，培養(yǎng)學生綜合語言運用能力。另外，通過兩個問題幫助學生理解課文大意。
3. Learn to say new words.

【設計意圖】根據(jù)五年級學生的認知水平及規(guī)律，滲透語音教學，讓學生通過比較、歸納，領(lǐng)悟字母a, ore, e在單詞中的發(fā)音規(guī)律，自己嘗試學習拼讀新教授的單詞。
4. Who’s the lucky dog?
Guess words in a turntable.
【設計意圖】通過“誰是幸運兒”游戲，變枯燥乏味的機械性訓練為學生喜愛的富有挑戰(zhàn)的游戲形式，激發(fā)學生學習和記憶單詞的熱情，使單詞操練達到效率最大化。
5. Learn to say new sentences.
⑴ Describe pictures.
Lucy went ice-skating.
Lucy wore warm clothes.
Lucy fell over, but it didn’t hurt.
Lucy learnt to skate.
⑵ Find friends of the pictures and talk about them in pairs.
【設計意圖】圖配文找朋友說一說的活動，讓學生在同桌合作互動中進一步訓練所學語言。

【設計意圖】教學呈現(xiàn)梯度發(fā)展，學生在老師的指導下從單詞——短句——語篇(學會說故事)，一步步突破難點。
8. Listen and imitate.
【設計意圖】良好語音語調(diào)的形成是一個習慣的養(yǎng)成過程，而聽音模仿是小學生學習并形成良好語音技能的有效方式，學生在教師的指導下通過聽錄音模仿,可以較好的學習發(fā)音，體驗地道自然的語音語調(diào)，培養(yǎng)良好的發(fā)音習慣。
三、Practice
1. Talk about Lucy’s story with key words.
【設計意圖】教師進一步指導學生在抓住重點詞講故事的過程中，應注重完整性、順序性和邏輯性，使學生口頭表達能力得到進一步提升，也為后面的創(chuàng)編故事做好良好的鋪墊。
2. Read Lucy’s story and write down the missing words.
【設計意圖】此環(huán)節(jié)，遵循“聽說領(lǐng)先，讀寫兼顧”的原則，對所學內(nèi)容從聽讀的層面上升到寫，學生的技能得到全面的提高。
