        教學目的:

          1 進一步學習形容詞比較級的用法。

          2 掌握本課所授的單詞和詞組in the open air, thank for, be like, be hungry, look + adj

          3 學習課文掌握中秋節(jié)的風俗習慣

        教學教具:Pictures tape recorder and real objects

        教學過程:

         Step 1. Revision

          1.Revise形容詞比較級的用法

          1)Ask the students to write down the comparative degree form of those adj:cheap- large- hard- hot -

          2)實物練習:教師出示實物讓學生編一個關(guān)于購物的小對話。要求學生購物時使用形容詞比較級對商品進行比較。用句型:主語+be+形容詞的比較級+than +其它

          2.教師關(guān)于第九課對話的提問。

          A:What is mid-autumn day?

          B: What is moon cake like?

          學生回答On Mid-autumn Day we usually eat a big dinner and moon cakes.

           They are small round cakes with meat, eggs, nuts or something sweet inside。

         Step 2 Presentation

          1.利用已學過的對話引出有關(guān)中秋節(jié)的話題 today we are going to read an e-mail to see how did Lucy introduce mid-autumn day to her friend.

          2.讓學生默讀一遍課文(五分鐘左右),并用鉛筆劃出課文中的生詞,鼓勵學生根據(jù)上下文來判斷這些詞的意思。然后回答下列幾個問題:

         。1)Is this an email from Lucy to Joe?

         。2)What day is Mid- Autumn Day?

         。3)What do people do on the day?

         。4)What kind of special food do people eat?

          3.教師對學生標出的新單詞進行講解,并對文章中新出現(xiàn)的重點詞匯和短語進行講解

          (1)Thank for意為:謝某人某事。結(jié)構(gòu):thank sb for sth 或thank for sth.

          例如

           A:I must thank you for the advice. You really give us a great help

           B: You should thank for you teacher. She is kind

         。2)get together:意為聚會,動詞。 get-together意為聚會,名詞。結(jié)構(gòu):have a get-together.

          例如

           A: We are going to get together to celebrate the new year. How about you?

           B: Lucy and I had a get-together yesterday

         。3)in the open air意為在露天。例如;What did you do in the open air? We had an party.

          (4)at this time of year:意為在一年的這個時候。

          例如:

           A: My father always takes me to have a holiday at this time of year.

           B: My mothers always buy a lot of gifts for me at this time of year.

          4.學生完成閱讀課文后,完成此表格的填寫,以總結(jié)概括全文。

        Holiday Mid –autumn-day

        Date In September or October

        Special foot Moon cake

        Activities Get together, have dinner, talk about the family and tell the story about change

          5.完成此表后,學生可以根據(jù)線索詞對課文進行復述。

        6.教師說 now, listen to the tape and see what did the girls eat on the mid-autumn day?學生聽完一遍錄音后再回答。

        They ate all kinds of moon cakes.

          7.Practise the dialogue in pairs

          9.Recite the dialogue

         Step4:Summary:

          學生自己總結(jié)本課重點詞組,概括對話, 講述語法和句型
