(一)主題任務(wù)(Core tasks)
根據(jù)本單元的中心主題,建議設(shè)計(jì)以下主題任務(wù)。
任務(wù)一:模擬招聘
完成時(shí)間:學(xué)完“熱身”、“聽(tīng)力”、“口語(yǔ)”、“閱讀”、“綜合技能”后
語(yǔ)言知識(shí)要求:涉及招聘及應(yīng)聘的詞匯及句型
語(yǔ)言技能要求:聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)
活動(dòng)形式:
1.班級(jí)活動(dòng):公布招聘方擬招工種,以小組為單位選擇招聘方或應(yīng)聘方;
2.小組活動(dòng):任務(wù)分工,應(yīng)聘方準(zhǔn)備招聘問(wèn)
題,招聘方作面試前準(zhǔn)備;
3.小組活動(dòng):組內(nèi)預(yù)演,選派表現(xiàn)突出的同學(xué)參與招聘;
4.個(gè)人、班級(jí)活動(dòng):按程序進(jìn)行招聘,班級(jí)同學(xué)觀摩。
任務(wù)目的:
1.在具體的活動(dòng)中掌握、熟練所學(xué)語(yǔ)言并學(xué)會(huì)使用。
2.使學(xué)生體會(huì)到在社會(huì)主義市場(chǎng)經(jīng)濟(jì)下,青少年應(yīng)樹(shù)立自主擇業(yè)的意識(shí),發(fā)揮個(gè)人的優(yōu)勢(shì),通過(guò)勞動(dòng)力市場(chǎng)或自主創(chuàng)業(yè),積極主動(dòng)地選擇適合自己的職業(yè)。同時(shí)也希望通過(guò)模擬求職者的角色,使學(xué)生了解當(dāng)今社會(huì)就業(yè)方式日趨多樣化,切身體驗(yàn)自主擇業(yè)的感受,從而鍛煉學(xué)生的表達(dá)能力、應(yīng)變能力、學(xué)以致用的能力、社會(huì)實(shí)踐能力等。
任務(wù)二:個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷展覽
完成時(shí)間:學(xué)完“熱身”、“聽(tīng)力”、“口語(yǔ)”、“閱讀”、“綜合技能”后
語(yǔ)言知識(shí)要求:涉及個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷的詞匯及句型;個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷寫(xiě)作要求和技巧;個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷寫(xiě)作注意事項(xiàng)
語(yǔ)言技能要求:聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)
任務(wù)目的:將所學(xué)知識(shí)學(xué)以致用,通過(guò)完成任務(wù)掌握語(yǔ)言知識(shí)與技能
活動(dòng)形式:
1.個(gè)人活動(dòng):根據(jù)指導(dǎo)建議,完成個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷;
2.小組活動(dòng):同學(xué)間相互評(píng)價(jià),推薦優(yōu)秀簡(jiǎn)歷;
3.班級(jí)活動(dòng):展出優(yōu)秀簡(jiǎn)歷,同學(xué)觀摩。
(二)熱身(Warming up)
這部分的重點(diǎn)是通過(guò)一組圖片,熟悉、學(xué)習(xí)一些職業(yè)的名稱。
活動(dòng)步驟:
1.大腦風(fēng)暴(Brainstorm):讓學(xué)生盡可能多地說(shuō)出職業(yè)名稱單詞,教師根據(jù)學(xué)生回答寫(xiě)出(也可以讓學(xué)生自己寫(xiě)出)有關(guān)單詞;
2.小組活動(dòng):學(xué)生通過(guò)小組合作,完成課本中的練習(xí)。
(三)聽(tīng)力(Listening)
學(xué)生依據(jù)個(gè)人實(shí)際選擇適合自己的工作,受益終身。在做聽(tīng)力之前,結(jié)合熱身部分的討論,可提問(wèn):
●How can you select/choose the career that’s right
/ best for you?
● What aids do you need to make a career decision?
● What do you think a careers adviser does?
然后,讓學(xué)生聽(tīng)第一部分內(nèi)容,完成練習(xí)三;聽(tīng)第二部分內(nèi)容,完成練習(xí)四;聽(tīng)第三部分內(nèi)容,完成練習(xí)五。聽(tīng)之前,讓學(xué)生先閱讀題目,熟悉題目要求,這樣,學(xué)生聽(tīng)的時(shí)候會(huì)更有針對(duì)性。
(四)口語(yǔ)(Speaking)
本部分重點(diǎn)是談?wù)搻?ài)好與厭惡,愿望與期待,建議四人一組分三步驟討論三個(gè)練習(xí),最后向全班表述想法。
活動(dòng)形式:
1.個(gè)人活動(dòng):按照職業(yè)顧問(wèn)提出的問(wèn)題,結(jié)合自己實(shí)際作答;
2.小組活動(dòng):要求學(xué)生以四人一組,討論練習(xí)2和練習(xí)3的內(nèi)容;
3.班級(jí)活動(dòng):根據(jù)組內(nèi)討論的結(jié)果,派代表表述。
(五)讀前(Pre-reading)和閱讀(Reading)
本單元讀前與閱讀部分相互滲透,可形成一個(gè)整體設(shè)計(jì)。
1.解讀文章標(biāo)題。本單元閱讀課的標(biāo)題是 FOOTBALL:A GOOD CAREER CHOICE? 學(xué)生不難理解其字面上的意思,但不一定理解其深層意思。為此,教師從解讀標(biāo)題著手,引入本單元的話題。教師可將標(biāo)題寫(xiě)在黑板上,然后問(wèn)幾個(gè)啟發(fā)學(xué)生思維的問(wèn)題。如:
Do you like sports? Which sport do you like most?
Do you think it will be a good career choice for you? Why or why not?
What kind of job would you like to do for life?
2.略讀課文,了解大意。教師可以先讓學(xué)生在預(yù)習(xí)的基礎(chǔ)上,說(shuō)說(shuō)自己對(duì)課文的理解:分析文章結(jié)構(gòu)、歸納文章段落大意、找出主題句及文章主題。
3.文章的深層理解。完成讀前的兩個(gè)問(wèn)題。
(六)讀后(Post-reading)
這部分的練習(xí)分為三部分,教師逐步提出任務(wù):
1.第一個(gè)練習(xí)要求學(xué)生在熟悉課文的前提下,完成課文細(xì)節(jié)內(nèi)容的填空。
2.第二個(gè)和第三個(gè)練習(xí)是文章內(nèi)容的深層理解,教師可指導(dǎo)學(xué)生以小組為單位,共同探究,相互交流,合作完成。
(七)語(yǔ)言實(shí)踐(Language practice)
依據(jù)本單元語(yǔ)言實(shí)踐部分的練習(xí)設(shè)置,建議教師分為三個(gè)步驟完成:
1.短文改錯(cuò)著重考查學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)、詞語(yǔ)、語(yǔ)法等綜合語(yǔ)言技能,結(jié)合短文改錯(cuò)文章,以小組為單位完成練習(xí)二關(guān)于遠(yuǎn)程辦公優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)的討論。
2.詞匯學(xué)習(xí)部分主要考查學(xué)生對(duì)描述人物特點(diǎn)詞匯的掌握情況。建議教師鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生通過(guò)查閱工具書(shū)等多種途徑,以小組為單位完成,給學(xué)生創(chuàng)造一個(gè)“自學(xué)、自傲、自悟、自助”的機(jī)會(huì)。
3.結(jié)合三則招聘廣告,完成模擬招聘任務(wù)。(具體內(nèi)容參見(jiàn)任務(wù)一)
(八)綜合技能(Integrating skills)
該部分教學(xué)要注意以下幾個(gè)方面:
1.指導(dǎo)學(xué)生閱讀WHY DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE GOOD AT THIS JOB?閱讀的重點(diǎn)放在
個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷的規(guī)范性上,這一部分與寫(xiě)作直接相關(guān)。
2.指導(dǎo)學(xué)生閱讀“學(xué)習(xí)建議”,提醒學(xué)生在完成個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷后的注意事項(xiàng)。
3.寫(xiě)作前利用課本中給出的兩份個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷進(jìn)行對(duì)比,為學(xué)生規(guī)范地完成個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷做好鋪墊。
4.寫(xiě)作完成后,同學(xué)間互相批改,并推薦優(yōu)秀個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷進(jìn)行展覽。(具體內(nèi)容參見(jiàn)任務(wù)二)
