        任務(wù)一:短劇表演

        活動(dòng)時(shí)間:在學(xué)完本單元之后

        活動(dòng)形式:個(gè)人活動(dòng)、兩人小組活動(dòng)、小組活動(dòng)、全班活動(dòng)

        活動(dòng)目的:以演感悟、以演促學(xué)

        活動(dòng)過程:

        1.分配角色:把全班分成幾個(gè)演出小組。每個(gè)小組由九人組成,分別擔(dān)任導(dǎo)演、Rachel Verinder, Godfrey,F(xiàn)ranklin Blake,Dr Candy,Sergeant Cuff, the Indians以及旁白等角色。導(dǎo)演負(fù)責(zé)總體規(guī)劃,包括舞臺(tái)設(shè)計(jì)、服裝設(shè)計(jì)、排練等等。教師任顧問,對(duì)學(xué)生的語言、表情、動(dòng)作要加以指導(dǎo)。

        2.撰寫劇本:由導(dǎo)演分配撰寫劇本各部分任務(wù),將小說改寫成劇本。教師要指導(dǎo)學(xué)生寫好劇本,要注意劇本所包含的要素等。

        3.交流信息:檢查各項(xiàng)工作落實(shí)情況,個(gè)人結(jié)合自己的角色,互相取長補(bǔ)短。

        4.熟悉臺(tái)詞:各演員背誦自己的臺(tái)詞,體會(huì)角色的個(gè)性與心理,通過語言與動(dòng)作表現(xiàn)人物的個(gè)性特征。演員熟悉臺(tái)詞、進(jìn)行彩排。

          5.道具準(zhǔn)備:所準(zhǔn)備的道具及服裝要力求輕便、簡(jiǎn)易、逼真。

          6.潤色加工:就彩排的情況交流心得,逐步完善。

        7.拍攝劇照:教師盡可能拍攝某個(gè)場(chǎng)面中的精彩片斷,以便師生共同分享喜悅。

        8.比賽演出:由老師和各組組長組成評(píng)委會(huì),各組均登臺(tái)演出,評(píng)委評(píng)分。

        任務(wù)二:閱讀偵探小說檔案

        活動(dòng)時(shí)間:在學(xué)完本單元之后

        活動(dòng)形式:個(gè)人活動(dòng)、結(jié)對(duì)活動(dòng)、小組活動(dòng)、全班活動(dòng)

        活動(dòng)目的:培養(yǎng)學(xué)生課外閱讀習(xí)慣

        活動(dòng)過程:

        1.組織學(xué)生進(jìn)行課外閱讀,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生良好的課外閱讀習(xí)慣。

        2.教師可幫助學(xué)生制定課外閱讀計(jì)劃等,并有步驟地分階段實(shí)施。

        3.教師可以向?qū)W生推薦一些推理性小說供學(xué)生參考,例如:《福爾摩斯探案集》(The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes),《三十九級(jí)臺(tái)階》(The Thirty-nine Steps),《鋼城》(The Caves of Steel),《布朗神父探案集》(Father Brown Stories)等。

        4.建議學(xué)生做好讀書筆記,填入下列表格中。

        5.有可能的話,進(jìn)行講故事比賽。

        創(chuàng)設(shè)情景,激趣導(dǎo)入

        Everyone loves a good mystery story.Many people have read stories about Sherlock Holmes by Conan Doyle.Today we are going to read a story by another famous detective story writer Wilkie Collins.

        1.Look at the title of this unit and try to guess what the text is about.

        2.Do you know any detective stories?

        3.What is most interesting about this mystery?

        4.Do you like reading detective stories?

        5.Wh0 is your favourite detective writer?

        (三)聽力(Listening)

        1.利用插圖,構(gòu)建對(duì)話平臺(tái)

        在聽前,教師須要求學(xué)生認(rèn)真看圖,構(gòu)建師生對(duì)話的平臺(tái)。例如:

        2.培養(yǎng)問題意識(shí),組織學(xué)生討論

        要求學(xué)生把對(duì)話轉(zhuǎn)述成一段敘述,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語言轉(zhuǎn)換能力及概括能力。

        (四)口語(Speaking)

        教師要鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生在收集信息、處理信息和表達(dá)交流的過程中探索學(xué)習(xí)。要將自己置身于真實(shí)的環(huán)境中,將表演與真實(shí)情感有機(jī)地結(jié)合在一起。這樣,有利于寓教于樂,激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣。

        除課文的相關(guān)情景外,我們還可要求學(xué)生描繪當(dāng)時(shí)的情形,如喧鬧的聲音等。例如,學(xué)生可能會(huì)使用如下的語句:

        “The diamond is gone! Gone! Nobody knows how!”

        “I myself saw Miss Rachel put the Diamond into the drawer last night!”

        “We must call for the police!”

        (五)讀前(Pre-reading)

        1.超前學(xué)習(xí),體驗(yàn)探究

        在學(xué)習(xí)《月亮寶石》時(shí),有可能的話,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生自主提前學(xué)習(xí)這本書。學(xué)生可以上網(wǎng)下載或到圖書館借閱小說The Moonstone,這樣可以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力。

        2.共同欣賞,集體解疑

        教師要鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生在閱讀過程中相互學(xué)習(xí),通過課外閱讀,使學(xué)生加深對(duì)文學(xué)的感受、理解、欣賞,共同解決閱讀中存在的問題,提高思維能力;在討論中,學(xué)會(huì)欣賞他人的優(yōu)點(diǎn),讓學(xué)生通過合作體會(huì)成功的喜悅。
