一、本單元的教學(xué)目標(biāo)：
1、能聽、說、讀、寫單詞festival, as, why,
……等，并了解其含義；能聽懂，會(huì)說，celebrate, ghost, king ……等單詞以及dress
up, the Mid-Autumn Festival ……等短語，能理解dragon, Halloween
……等單詞和the Dragon Boat Festival ……等短語。
2、掌握介詞at, on, in表達(dá)時(shí)間的用法及其在不同交際情景中的運(yùn)用。
3、運(yùn)用wh-questions互相交流有關(guān)的人或事物的信息。
4、理解和掌握some與any的基本用法。
5、了解中外一些重要的節(jié)假日及主要慶祝方式、培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對(duì)中外文化的理解能力，提高
學(xué)生對(duì)中外文化異同的鑒別能力，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的世界文化意識(shí)，增強(qiáng)學(xué)生對(duì)民族文化的自豪
感。

第 一 教 時(shí)
Comic strip+ Welcome to the unit+vocabulary
一、 教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1. 能聽、說、讀、寫單詞holiday, monkey, why, mooncake, May, card, rice 并了解
其含義。能聽懂、會(huì)說單詞celebrate, ghost, king, festival, Christmas, Easter,
monkey短語dress up, as the Mid-Autumn Festival, National Day能理解單詞dragon,
Halloween,短語the Dragon Boat Festival, rice, dumplings。
2. 能了解中外一些重要的節(jié)假日，節(jié)假日的背景及主要慶祝方式，從而激發(fā)對(duì)本單元的
學(xué)習(xí)興趣，并初步培養(yǎng)自己的世界文化意識(shí)。
3. 能掌握一年中幾個(gè)主要節(jié)日的名稱并了解其日期。
4. 能就有關(guān)“個(gè)人對(duì)節(jié)日的喜好”情況相互進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單詢問及回答。

1. 教具準(zhǔn)備：實(shí)物投影儀，幕布、四幅卡通漫畫圖片(34頁)、六幅圖片(第35頁P(yáng)art A)
、一張人物圖片，(《西游記》中孫悟空的形象的面具)。臺(tái)歷，賀卡，四幅圖片（第40頁
PartB）。
2. 教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備：請(qǐng)學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備一張白紙并兩人一組討論寫出他們所知道的節(jié)日名稱(中文)及
臺(tái)歷，賀卡等本課所需實(shí)物或圖片。
3. 板書準(zhǔn)備：黑板上預(yù)先寫好課題Unit 3 Let’s celebrate!
五、 教學(xué)步驟
Task 1(第34頁 Comic strip)
1. 教師用實(shí)物投影出示第34頁卡通圖片，指著圖片說Look! We can see Eddie and
Hobo again.
(圖片1)問：What are they doing? Can you guess? 幫助學(xué)生回答：I think they’re
celebrating their holiday.學(xué)習(xí)并操練單詞：celebrate, holiday。
Holiday-the day you don’t have to go to school.
Celebrate-do something for the day.
(圖片3)問：What is Eddie doing? (He’s dressing up as a ghost)用手勢(shì)或其它動(dòng)作
、表情教學(xué)生短語dress up as……和單詞ghost。然后問：Do you like dressing up as
a ghost?
(No, we don’t). Eddie doesn’t like, either.
(圖片4)問：What’s Hobo dressing up as now?(He is dressing up as Monkey King).
學(xué)習(xí)單詞monkey和king.教師出示孫悟空?qǐng)D片，Do you know him? We often call him
Monkey King.(可以讓喜歡孫悟空的學(xué)生利用面具模仿其造型)Who can dress up as
Monkey King?
2. 教師領(lǐng)讀，學(xué)生跟讀。學(xué)生兩人一組練習(xí)對(duì)話，并輪流扮作Eddie和Hobo,幾分鐘后，
讓一些小組到前面表演，鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生自由發(fā)揮，盡量用自己的造型。
Task 2 (第35頁Welcome to the unit)
1. 老師讓學(xué)生展示事先準(zhǔn)備好的節(jié)日清單并稱贊：Very good! 介紹課本內(nèi)容：In this
unit, I will help you to learn more about the Festivals in
English.學(xué)習(xí)單詞festival(s),并寫在黑板上。用實(shí)物投影出示第35頁P(yáng)art A圖片(按以
下順序介紹)
圖片2-→圖片4-→圖片6-→圖片5-→圖片3-→圖片1
中國節(jié)日：直接用英語教短語Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat
Festival,并寫在黑板上。
西方節(jié)日：允許學(xué)生先用中文猜測(cè)，然后告訴他們：In English, we call it
Christmas/Easter/Halloween,并逐詞寫在黑板上。
領(lǐng)讀數(shù)遍單詞、短語后，再用實(shí)物投影出示第35頁P(yáng)art A圖片，詢問學(xué)生：What’s the
name of the festival? 然后學(xué)生兩人一組活動(dòng)，互相問答。讓他們有充分的感知。
2. 告訴學(xué)生：My favourite festival is Mid-Autumn Festival. Do you know why?
Because I like to eat mooncakes.學(xué)習(xí)單詞mooncake,可用簡(jiǎn)筆畫來表示，相信學(xué)生能
猜出其含義。
板書：My favourite festival is……
Because I like to ……
要求學(xué)生仿照黑板上的例句介紹自己的喜好情況，展開小組交流活動(dòng)。老師可巡視，進(jìn)行
必要幫助。
3. 打開書，帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生富有感情地朗讀Part B,采用男女生分組分角色方式朗讀。
學(xué)生兩人一組練習(xí)對(duì)話，再進(jìn)行表演。
4. 讓學(xué)生用自己的信息替換劃線部分，鼓勵(lì)他們用真實(shí)情況來表演對(duì)話，可四人一組活
動(dòng)。為方便學(xué)生自如地表達(dá)，老師可提供以下詞匯并板書：
eat chocolate/make pumpkin Lanterns.
eat rice dumplings/get Christmas presents/（此舉也為以后的閱讀教學(xué)帶來方便。
）
5. 選出幾組同學(xué)到前面表演，可讓他們看黑板上的選用詞匯。鼓勵(lì)他們?cè)黾觿?dòng)作，提高
表演欲望。在表演以后，領(lǐng)著其他同學(xué)給予掌聲鼓勵(lì)。

Task 3（第40 頁Vocabulary）
1. 教師問：Which special days of the year do you know? 把days of the year寫在
黑板上，學(xué)生兩人一組討論。然后將搜集到的信息如New Year’s Day, May
Day,Children’s Day,Teachers’ Day,National Day,Chirsmas Day等寫在days of the
year下面。然后在節(jié)日右邊用阿拉伯?dāng)?shù)字表達(dá)法寫出一些日期順序打亂，讓學(xué)生上黑板用
線連接相應(yīng)的節(jié)日名稱，并學(xué)習(xí)短語：
National Day, May Day, New Year’s Day.
2．用臺(tái)歷呈現(xiàn)句型：?jiǎn)枌W(xué)生：What day is it? Do we have to go to school? 讓
學(xué)生用Yes or No回答. 并讓學(xué)生用自備的臺(tái)歷進(jìn)行問答。然后讓學(xué)生分組討論，完成課
本第40頁P(yáng)art A。
3．主學(xué)生看黑板上的節(jié)日名稱，問：Whose favourite festival is …?Why do you
like it?當(dāng)呈現(xiàn)到Christmas時(shí)，出示賀卡，學(xué)習(xí)單詞card并板書。Look. Here are
different kinds of Christmas card, I like Christmas because I can get the
cards. 接著用實(shí)物或圖片教短語rice dumplings,并用the Dragon Boat
Festival聯(lián)系：Why do you like the Dragon Boat Festival?(Because I like to eat
rice dumplings.)并操練。
打開書本，要求學(xué)生完成Part B的筆頭填空。全班校對(duì)答案并分組朗讀四個(gè)句子。

festival?(It’s Mid-Autumn Festival)指著圖中男孩提著的燈籠，教單詞Lantern:
This is a lantern in English.教師說：Show me your lanterns, please! 讓學(xué)生出示
他們制作的實(shí)物或圖片。接著，展示圖片1：What’s the name of the festival?(It’s
Halloween).告訴學(xué)生：This is a pumpkin lantern.把lantern寫在黑板上。最后展示圖
片3。讓一學(xué)生用第35頁P(yáng)art B的對(duì)話發(fā)問：Which is your favourite
festival?(Easter)Why do you like it?(Because I like to eat chocolate eggs .(用
手指著圖片中的chocolate eggs),再板書chocolate。
2. 介紹課本內(nèi)容：Today we’re going to learn something about Halloween .In
China, we do not celebrate Halloween. But in the USA , people celebrate it.
They have a special party on that day. And they play a game called “trick or
treat”, They also wear different costumes with masks. They even paint their
faces. People do not know each other. They make pumpkin lanterns, eat a lot of

..What do you have to do? Please look at the pictures on Page 39.讓學(xué)生看第39
頁C2的圖片，分組說出相應(yīng)的短語：buy some chocolates, want special costumes,
make a pumpkin lantern, dress up as a tiger,然后指導(dǎo)學(xué)生按要求完成書中任務(wù)。
2. 投影儀展示第39頁C1，指著headings告訴同學(xué)們：
Middlie wants to tell her classmates about Halloween. She makes a poster and
uses these headings.Can you help her find which paragraphs they are in ?You
can say out the correct numbers for each heading.讓學(xué)生快速瀏覽第36-37頁課文

4. 游戲
把學(xué)生分成若干小組，每組由同學(xué)們選出一位代表，扮演Millie ,到前面向全班同學(xué)介紹
有關(guān)Halloween的信息。該代表若有困難，可以有三次機(jī)會(huì)向本組同學(xué)“求助”，以說出
句子數(shù)多者為優(yōu)勝，相同成績(jī)則以“求助”次數(shù)少的為優(yōu)勝。最后帶領(lǐng)全班同學(xué)為獲勝者
所在小組鼓掌并贈(zèng)送同學(xué)們的自制實(shí)物或圖片，以示鼓勵(lì)。
5. 打開書本，學(xué)生兩人一組完成第38頁P(yáng)art B2，全班核對(duì)答案。
Task 3
1.讓學(xué)生看C1部分的標(biāo)題同，然后兩人一組重新閱讀Wendy的信，在根據(jù)信中的關(guān)鍵詞及B1,
B2的內(nèi)容，讓學(xué)生獨(dú)立完成練習(xí)，再全班一起中頭對(duì)答案，讓學(xué)生聯(lián)系文中的“Heading
”編寫一段關(guān)于Halloween的文章。
2. 通過投影讓學(xué)生們看C2中的四幅圖。
介紹Millie和她的朋友們正在準(zhǔn)備一個(gè)Halloween party. 不看彩框中的選項(xiàng)，讓學(xué)生猜
每幅圖片里的人在說什么，然后學(xué)生獨(dú)立完成練習(xí)，讓幾名學(xué)生讀出每幅圖的答案。讓能

讓學(xué)生兩人一組或三人一組討論介詞at, on, in 在時(shí)間表達(dá)方式中的基本用法，再搜集

2. 帶學(xué)生瀏覽Page 41,Part A中的表格，讓學(xué)生依照例句，用Example中的表短語 at
six o’clock, on Monday, in the morning等其它相似短語造句，可進(jìn)行“造句競(jìng)賽”
。
3. 打開書本，讓學(xué)生完成Page 41, A1中的介詞填空，完成后兩人一組糾正錯(cuò)誤，讓學(xué)生
集體朗讀，并作小結(jié)。
