一、內(nèi)容簡介:
該課為修訂版JEFC第二冊(cè)《Unit 3》的補(bǔ)充和延伸,主要讓學(xué)生對(duì)我國的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日中秋節(jié)有一個(gè)較為全面和深層的了解。該單元的內(nèi)容雖然對(duì)中秋有所提及, 但偏重語法知識(shí)的訓(xùn)練,對(duì)有助于學(xué)生文化理解的背景知識(shí)鋪展略顯不足,使學(xué)生無法深入理解和感受到中國傳統(tǒng)文化的魅力。因此設(shè)計(jì)了該堂研究性學(xué)習(xí)課,讓學(xué)生在掌握Unit3基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)的前提下進(jìn)行一次網(wǎng)絡(luò)探究,借助專題學(xué)習(xí)網(wǎng)站和Internet進(jìn)行自主學(xué)習(xí)。
二、教學(xué)目的:
①通過上網(wǎng)搜索和探究有關(guān)中秋節(jié)的知識(shí),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獲取信息、處理信息以及表達(dá)的能力。
②培養(yǎng)學(xué)生運(yùn)用Powerpoint等平臺(tái)發(fā)表觀點(diǎn)等技能。
三、教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn):
教學(xué)重點(diǎn):通過對(duì)中秋節(jié)相關(guān)知識(shí)的探究,使學(xué)生感受網(wǎng)絡(luò)學(xué)習(xí)的新理念,培養(yǎng)個(gè)體探究及協(xié)作互助的優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)。
本課的難點(diǎn)來自兩個(gè)方面:一是學(xué)生的語言和信息技術(shù)問題,初二的學(xué)生英語水平不高,信息能力也不是很理想,因此要完成這樣的探究對(duì)他們來說是挑戰(zhàn)。二是觀念問題,“網(wǎng)絡(luò)學(xué)習(xí)”和“研究性學(xué)習(xí)”對(duì)于農(nóng)村學(xué)生來說都是新概念,如何轉(zhuǎn)變觀念,調(diào)整和變革自己的學(xué)習(xí)方式和策略又是本課的另一突破口。
四、課前準(zhǔn)備:
教師:
1、準(zhǔn)備好學(xué)生搜集材料的相關(guān)網(wǎng)站,制作一個(gè)能導(dǎo)引學(xué)生順利開展探究的專題學(xué)習(xí)網(wǎng)站。
2、申請(qǐng)一個(gè)留言板方便學(xué)生交流信息,并直接與專題網(wǎng)站鏈接。
3、將學(xué)生分成8組,每組四人,要求他們按照各自的特長和興趣選擇組內(nèi)的角色并適當(dāng)進(jìn)行一些技術(shù)訓(xùn)練和指導(dǎo)。
學(xué)生:
1、初步學(xué)習(xí)使用Powerpoint發(fā)表觀點(diǎn)的方法和竅門。(學(xué)生在信息技術(shù)課上已學(xué)過了基本方法,教師的專題學(xué)習(xí)網(wǎng)站上也有相關(guān)的鏈接頁面指點(diǎn)。)
2、學(xué)習(xí)用帖子發(fā)表觀點(diǎn)。(要用本名)
3、每組同學(xué)經(jīng)過討論選取本組將要研究的問題,并制定研究方案。
4、在本機(jī)電腦的E盤中建立文件夾,供搜集材料用。
五、學(xué)習(xí)過程:
本課的專題學(xué)習(xí)網(wǎng)站借用WebQuest的設(shè)計(jì)理念。這是因?yàn)閃ebquest作為一種網(wǎng)絡(luò)教學(xué)的工具,能充分體現(xiàn)建構(gòu)主義的教育理念,并且它所提供的模板流程清晰明了,便于學(xué)生和老師操作。問題采用“拾荒式”探究的辦法,利于學(xué)生迅速地篩選和獲取信息,準(zhǔn)確地鑒別信息的真?zhèn)巍?/p>
1、引言(Introduction)
Tom is a boy from the USA. His parents are working in China now. Next year he will come to China to study here. Now he's doing a class project(課程計(jì)劃) about China. He gave me an email last week. He said he wanted to know something about our Mid-autumn Festival. Could you please give me a hand and tell him about it?
(湯姆是一個(gè)美國男孩。他的父母親現(xiàn)在中國工作。明年他也將要來中國讀書。所以他正忙著做課程準(zhǔn)備。上星期他給我發(fā)了一封電子郵件。他說他想了解有關(guān)我國中秋的知識(shí),并問了許多的問題,你能幫我一起來答復(fù)他嗎?)
2、任務(wù)(Task)
1.To confirm(確定) your partners, make sure that you like this group, think of an English name for your group. Choose an actor in your group as Organizer(管理員),Translator(翻譯), Editor(編輯) and Journalist depending on your strong suit and interest.
As an Organizer you should form(組織) the members in your group to develop the study favorably(順利地).
As a translator you should learn to express your ideas in English with the words and phrases we learnt before, and if you meet new words you can also use the dictionary online to help you.
As an Editor, first you should learn how to make a ppt file.Then try to design and make your ppt works as beautifully as you can. If you haven't known the skill of Powerpoint, you may click here for help.
As a Journalist, you should first make a plan for your research(調(diào)查). Search slight materials(搜索詳盡的資料) from the internet, and keep them your computer. Form the materials and write out the report of your topic.
(首先你們根據(jù)平時(shí)的相互了解確定分組,為你們的小組取個(gè)英文名上報(bào)老師,在你們的小組成果里署上你們的英文名字,各人根據(jù)自己的特長和愛好進(jìn)行小組分工,老師給你們的建議是:你們需要一個(gè)管理員、一個(gè)記者、一個(gè)編輯和一個(gè)翻譯。
管理員必須能善于協(xié)調(diào)各成員之間的關(guān)系,對(duì)每一步行動(dòng)要精心組織分配,以保證研究的順利進(jìn)行。
記者要根據(jù)你們小組的選題,善于利用網(wǎng)絡(luò)或其它手段搜集盡可能詳盡的資料,并對(duì)這些資料進(jìn)行整合和歸類,然后擬訂成果匯報(bào)的方案。
作為編輯首先要擅長使用Powerpoint,然后盡快設(shè)計(jì)和制作出你們的成果作品來。
翻譯要善于運(yùn)用學(xué)過的詞匯和句型表達(dá)信息,并善于借助各類翻譯軟件學(xué)習(xí)新詞。)
